I love the fact that, in Grid View, you can manually re-order records, and sort by a variety of criteria. But it would also be nice if you could sort and manually re-order GROUPS of records, when displaying in groups.
Currently, the only option is an alphabetical sorting of groups. That just doesn’t work for our project management base, in which we commonly create views for a particular user, sorted by status (in progress, with client, on hold, etc) or by priority. It would be great to be able to put the most relevant groups at the top.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Similar to the "Number" element, have an element that will surface the text of a top result. How does is solve the user problems? I have a dashboard of scores to determine a best solution. I can create bar charts and organize the x-axis to display rank in order of highest to lowest. I can add a Number element to pull the score for a particular solution. But I would like to create a dynamic element that surfaces the top ranking solution's name, without pulling in a grid or list. I am wondering whether Airtable team ever considered rolling out a paid plan targeted at individual users. By individual users I mean people who have the product for personal use, maybe only occasional and whose volume of data is really low. Such a plan could include some blocks useful for personal planning, like Timeline, Matrix or Map.
Let me share an example. When blocks were present in the Free Plan, I decided to use the Map block for planning a trip with my friends. I invited them to Airtable and we had a table with destinations each linked to the map. That was very convenient as everyone was able to overview the map.
The only problem is that blocks are part of the Pro plan which costs too much for individual users and their use cases. I think the key differentiator of those users is that the amount of records they work on is small. Literally tens of records per base. What will do for them is some reasonable fee for the features included in the Free plan + some blocks enabled. I would say 1,200 records/2GB of attachments per base is even too much.

I would find it very useful if there was an embed block that would be kind of similar to the page designer except that instead of printing it would be for embedding it into a website. The use case would be showing records from Airtable in a more customized way that would feel and look more just like a part of the webpage. Say I wanted to show a table with all our employees. Right now it would be via an embed view (which is great) but if I could design it to look and feel just like our website it would be very useful

Currently it is not possible to add tables between bases without loosing the link between the linked tables. Since it is easy to Duplicate a Base now, it should be easy to combine 2 bases together.
Benefit of this would be to have control of the structure from one base to another.
Example: You have many bases that you need to combine without starting from the beginning. Right now we can use Zapier to move data around but nothing to control structure of the tables.

I’m really underwhelmed by the lack of pivot table functionality, which are basic features in google sheets and excel:

Airtable is changing the face of software applications by separating data from form. The Gantt, Timeline, Calendar and Kanban views are awesome. Why have special apps for these functions when your data underneath can be visualised as needed! My product suggestion is that a Network and Tree View be added. OR OR Technically these are all Directed Acyclic Graphs and there are myriads of use cases where business data forms either a hierarchy or a flow graph. Organisation Charts Bill of Materials Work Breakdown Structure Product classification systems Task networks (which complement the Gantt View) etc etc. Anyone else see value in a data driven view like this? Loving the new interface templates and designer. Been working on transferring all my old ones to the new setup so they can work on mobile, which is excellent! For my desktop users, we've been used to using [ctrl + f] in a grid view to have that little "pop-up" to find records. Now with the new search bar, we have to click on the bar to start typing. It would be great if [ctrl + f] would somehow jump us to that search bar. Not sure if this kind of thing is possible?

It would be extremely helpful to be able to color code the table. I’m not necessarily looking for color to be based on a condition (hence a different thread).
Example Case: There are five tables within an airbase. Two of those tables are focused on action: projects and tasks. Three are focused on people: the individuals themselves, the vendors they work for and their expertise. The tab for the two tables focused on action could be one color and the three tables focused on people are another.
