In my team's usage of Airtable, we have a lot of different fields going through a lot of changes over time. On multiple occasions I've had to dig through a record's revision history, clicking Show more multiple times to get far enough to find the history that I need. In order to find a single field's history, I have to expand each of the history segments, then use ctrl+F to search the name of the field, and then click through each result to see the history I'm looking for. I would love a filter mechanism in the Revision history where users could select a specific field from their table, and the Revision history would be limited to showing only the changes made to that field. ... What is the proposed idea/solution? Would be really helpful to be able to dynamically send a Slack Action Message to different channels. As it stands now, static is the default and only option if you want to hook up the Slack Action Message to a channel. What is the proposed idea/solution? The proposed idea is to show different record details templates within the same interface list depending on specific record criteria, such as a single-select field. For example, if one record's status is "Order in Backlog," when clicked the record detail template would be different than another record with the status "Delivered."  How does is solve the user problems? This would allow for fewer interface lists. In other words, we could collapse multiple lists into a single list without losing the benefit of unique record-detail templates associated with multiple lists. This would help organize reduce "Interface fatigue," where too many Interfaces creates confusion and fatigue. How was this validated? Personal experience. Who is the target audience? The usability of the UI isn't designed around common design patterns. - Tables listed as hozital tabs - looking for tables is a high use/common behaviour - horizontal scrolling is awkward - Wasted real estate on the 'create a view' panel - this functionality is often used when setting up bases, but seldom used thereafter, this real estate could be put to better use Solution: - List tables vertically, in alphabetical order (and provide sorting alternatives) - similar to other database design patterns.  Use the space currently taken by the 'create a view panel'   ... Often users type up their notes, meeting agendas, tasks etc into a Long Text field using Rich Text formatting. The Records Comments field is often a target for copy/paste from that field, especially with Comments Element being so prominent within Interfaces. However, upon copying/pasting Rich Text from a Long Text field into the record Comments, all Markdown formatting is lost. It's most frustrating - and to be honest I expect Comments to support such an action. I appreciate being alerted when an automation fails. It's a must-have feature for potentially critical automations. Right now, according to the official documentation, the last user who turned it on receives the alert. This setup isn't sufficient for bigger organizations. It would be more effective if we could specify multiple recipients, whether for all automations in a base, specific sections, or individual ones. Being the sole recipient is concerning. Are there any temporary workarounds available? I suppose I could write a rule in my email client to forward them to other colleagues but I'm old fashioned and use a local email client which isn't always running. ... View more
