This thread made me realize that we should probably have an option to PREVENT collaborators (particularly read-only collaborators) from being able to easily duplicate an entire base. It’s great to be able to “Limit record selection to a view” when selecting a Linked Record, however, this means that the number of views gets out of hand quickly. It also means creating views that you will never look at (as they are only needed for filtering Linked Record options). I would prefer the ability to filter linked records by conditions instead. This would add flexibility and prevent the creation of unnecessary views. Bonus points if you could filter based on data from both the current record, and the Linked Record. I very often go info my bases to copy 2/3 fields from a much larger base - It would be great to be able to use buttons to copy information from selected fields to the user’s clipboard to avoid unnecessary navigation. I’d love to see an option that scoops out which items of a list are not in use (anymore) and enables me to delete all these options from the list in one click. I’d also like to be able to combine values in the single & multiple select fields. Especially when you have accidentally added a bunch of records and made a typo in the field, which will then have caused a new option to be created. Ideally I’d open up the Customize field type screen, select two or more values and hit a button ‘combine’. I have often incorporated many complicated automations in order to prevent employees from updating records to certain statuses without inputting certain required fields first. I wish there was a way that I can make a field editable dependent on conditions, such as if these other fields are not blank. Instead of creating an automation work around. For instance, I don’t want employees to mark a record as complete unless if they input the Field A and Field B. Right now I have an automation that goes on condition that if a record is marked complete and Field A and/or Field B is not completed, that it would revert to the previous status and send an email to the employee notifying them. However, I would like it so that that the employee literally cannot click and edit the Single Selection Field unless they completed the previous steps in the workflow I am attempting to generate. ...
