When I view an image of an A4 paper in an attachment field, the viewer doesn’t let me zoom. The viewer fits the entire image to the screen and because of the proportions, it becomes narrow. Most of the time, text is not visible and zooming is necessary. Currently, I right click and open the image in a new tab and display image in its full size. It would be very handy if there was a zooming widget like e-commerce sites use for product pictures. I’m sure you would come up with the best style. It would be great if you could paste an image into a cell and either a thumbnail of the image appears OR a URL to the image is created and entered in the cell. If I know a document will require screenshots, I create a google doc instead of using Airtable because it’s just so much easier to use cmd+ctl+shift+4 to generate a screen grab and then paste the image. ... It’s easy using the UI or Keyboard shortcuts to jump from table to table or base to base, but theres no way to quickly find and jump to a field within a grid view. For tables they may have many fields/columns, this makes it very difficult to navigate. A search/keyboard shortcut, similar to the base switcher Ctrl+K would make it much easier to navigate fields. ... View more

Hi. I think that it will be very useful to have a built-in search in shared views (grid as well as gallery view) available from mobile phones. Sharing database with lot of information without possibility to find specific data makes shared view useless in some way. And since using Airtable from a mobile is a daily routine, the ability to search the database seems to me to be a feature of first necessity. I know that it possible to use browser “find on a page”, but that not so obvious and requires two additional clicks. Also, search in shared base is not always working well. Within an Automation Script, it's frustrating that we still encounter the inability to update the Single Select or Multi Select field options, with the error returning; "Airtable "Error: Cannot update field config from scripting automation" This limitation forces the user to reconsider the field type, with the alternative solution usually swapping it into a Single Line text field. Interestingly, it is possible to use an Automation Update Record action to do this exact same process, but for whatever reason it's not possible for an Automation Script to execute this very same process. Can this limitation please be reviewed and reconsidered by Airtable Developers?
