Hi there, It would be great to have a toggle for show/hide field descriptions when creating a (view only) shared view through a link. I often add notes in the field description about what table the field links to, how I’m using the field, an explanation of the formula I wrote, and/or other base ‘administration’ details. When I am sharing a view with a colleague, I want them to be able to view the data in the base (the field name is usually explanatory enough for this purpose), but keep my field descriptions to myself. I submitted the following feedback and thought I’d repeat it here to see if there’s any other interest in this improvement: So I wanted to suggest a minor improvement that would make a feature FAR more useful. There’s something broken about your Calendar View. Showing me the month of January isn’t very helpful when it’s the last week of January. Usually when viewing a month of a calendar one wants to see the next 4 weeks, not a static 4 weeks, 75% of which has already elapsed. Take a look at most any calendar app on your computer or phone and you’ll see what I mean. Either last week, or this week, is the top week and the next 3 or 4 weeks are below. Granted, in some cases, it defaults to a view of the calendar month but you can atl east scroll up and down to get the view of the weeks you want. So, as it stands, your calendar view is incredibly useful for 1 week of the month, somewhat useful for another week, and fairly useless for two more weeks. Any plans to improve it? ... View more

Hi! I’ve been using Galleries a lot recently to share information in our community - and while I love them, I’ve found myself wishing for a number of improvements/options: Option to hide empty (unfilled) fields. Yes, I know that means that the fields wouldn’t necessarily line up across the cards, and I’m okay with that! Option to change card width. Sometimes a wider card would just look better. Option to wrap long text and multi-select options. Ability to choose additional fields to appear in the expanded view without having to show all fields. Option to hide the Customize cards, Filter, and Sort buttons at the top. Option to hide the Primary field. Often for me this is an autonumbered ID field that I don't want to share out. I think some or all of this can be enabled with miniExtensions but it sure would be great if it could be done within Airtable! :pray: ... View more

Hi. I think that it will be very useful to have a built-in search in shared views (grid as well as gallery view) available from mobile phones. Sharing database with lot of information without possibility to find specific data makes shared view useless in some way. And since using Airtable from a mobile is a daily routine, the ability to search the database seems to me to be a feature of first necessity. I know that it possible to use browser “find on a page”, but that not so obvious and requires two additional clicks. Also, search in shared base is not always working well. Now that the “Group” feature is no longer Beta I am hoping it will be added to the Andriod App. I designed the entire new workflow around using the grouping feature and now that I am having to do some operations mobile I see that its does not work and has made things very difficult. ... View more

I currently use Airtable to manage a set of data for a number of sales reps. As I don’t want each rep to see the data for another, I don’t invite the reps to collaborate with my base; I instead have read-only views created for each of them. If they open these links on their laptops, they have some basic functionality they can do in their web browser (filter, group, sort, seach), but if they open the link on their mobile devices (iOS), they have none of those options. Are there any plans to add this same functionality to the iOS view that opens in a web browser? Or could the functionality be added to the native iOS app to open these views directly in it, rather than a web browser, and provide the features there? Alternately, the ability to limit what a collaborator has access to in a base could potentially solve this, as well. ... View more

I’d like to use the Airtable app as my primary document Scanner. I love using Airtable to track expenses. And, f course, it is nice to include an image of the related receipt or invoice. Airtable’s iOS app allows users to snap pictures using your phone’s camera, however, it would be great if I could use the app to create a “scanned document”. Apps like Evernote and DropBox do this well so I typically use those apps to scan my documents but it would be nice to skip this step. Thanks Airtable! ... View more

I have an “Environment” field on my servers table for TEST, DEV and LIVE. By default, they are obviously color coded, which is nice. However, on any tables where I reference servers and include a lookup for the environment, it is just plain text. It would be nice if this column had the same colors as the native column.
