I have a base that is shared with a larger team, but there are some views that I only want sub-groups to have access to. Right now, my only options are Collaborative View (anyone shared can see and edit), Personal View (only visible to me and editable by me), or Locked View (anyone shared can see, but no one else can configure). I’ve noticed that you can have field-level permission such that a group of specific users can edit and/or configure. I would like to have the same ability for Views. This would be a very useful feature to prevent people from accidentally entering dates that have already passed, or to restrict to a certain period of time (e.g. no more than two weeks ahead). The order of the options in a Single Select field are defaulted to alphabetical when accessed via a Lookup field. This means that grouping by the lookup field ignores your assigned order, which is very frustrating. If the options are ordered a certain way, it is a disservice to violate that. Please preserve the order of the single select field through lookups. If for example I have a Single Select field with options: “Priority” “Casual” “Delisted” When I access that field via Lookup and Group my view on it, my records will come grouped in the following order: “Casual” “Delisted” “Priority” Just like that, an intentional order is ruined. ... We cannot color by lookup fields. Even if “Allow linking to multiple records” is disabled on the Record Linker, the option to select Single Select Lookup fields is disabled in the record coloring menu. This makes no sense, and is a real hamper on operations that make use of Airtables Sync feature to integrate multiple bases with each other. I understand that the option is probably disabled because lookup fields are arrays, but there is absolutely no reason it should be disabled when the linker field is restricted to only allow the linking of one item. It seems the need for Airtable to have a system to prompt the user if a duplicate entry has been submitted would be a main requirement for users, particularly those using forms. For example, a user registration form, ensuring only a unique email had been used. I would imagine it would either be based on the primary column or even better, the option to tell Airtable which columns should not allow duplicate entries. At the moment I have to pay miniextensions over $400 a year just to have this function - a great product, but something I feel Airtable should include as standard.
