What is the proposed idea/solution? for better accessibility -  please label the colours with text - when hovering over in the base design How does is solve the user problems? 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women have some form of colour blindness - or colour visual deficiency.  This means that distinguishing many of the colours in airtable is difficult.  Giving bases different colours is great as this is both a visual cue when you use multiple bases and interfaces - and in communicating with the teams that use them - however when some users aren't clear which colour is which (I am one and i develop tools heavily in the platform) it causes needless friction - for what should be a quick fix How was this validated? please see standard accessibility guidelines for using colours and ensuring those with sight problems can see the tools effectively. What is the proposed idea/solution? An option to integrate bases/tables of data into Canva. NOT as rows or individual pieces of data but entire tables/bases.  How does is solve the user problems? 1. A simpler way to customize data by using Canva's tools and export as a PDF or whatever kind of document you wish.  2. Can add logos, color, make templates of the data on Canva. 3. What is the proposed idea/solution? Our interfaces are growing ever more complex, longer and more difficult to handle. Two things that would make life much easier: Being able to create sections (visual containers) that can be collappsed and unfolded. Conditional visibility of these sections and individual fields (like in forms) How does is solve the user problems? What is the proposed idea/solution? The current Interface Designer is great, but it can be a bit difficult to make every field we need visible organize on a blank page that fits our needs. It would be great if there were widgets that allow for the collapsing of a group of fields or organizing them into clickable pages.   How does is solve the user problems? Make it easier to demonstrate steps and phases to projects.  Instead of having every stage laid out on one part. Clicking right or left or collapsing and uncollapsing parts of the record can show different applicable fields. How was this validated? Simply that if one "page" is not completed per guidance set by the creator, one cannot move on to the next phase.  or just organizing field attributes in a box that will allow for page creation. What is the proposed idea/solution? I'd really like to see comments as an automation trigger.   How does is solve the user problems? I recognize that Airtable has a feature to send email notifications to users, but those emails are NOT detailed enough. Our team constantly comments on task records that are linked to projects. The issue is that projects often have the same tasks, so it's not at all clear via the email what task/project combo users are receiving comments on. Allowing comments to act as a trigger, with option to use @tags and comment watching in the "to" field for the email action step would allow our team to customize comment notifications.   ... I am trying to create a company budget database where all the accounts are in the main table (grid view), but some of them are subaccounts of other accounts (and others are sub-sub-accounts, etc.). All the parent/child relationships are between records in the same table. How do I display the data where the sub accounts are indented under their parent records and can roll up at each step of the hierarchy, if desired (including a calculated sum field) For example,  100 Personnel Costs ($250K) <-- This is a calculated roll-up from subaccounts         110 Salary & Wages ($200K)         120 Healthcare ($50K) 200 Facilities ($65K)  <-- Calculated         210 Rent ($30K)         220 Maintenance ($20K)         230 Exterior ($15K)  <-- Calculated                 231 Grounds ($10K)                 232 Signage ($5K) etc.... What is the proposed idea/solution? Make workspace / base owner able to delete comments on records made by other users. How does is solve the user problems? As base manager (owner), I would appreciate the possibility to remove comments made by others on records without asking each person to delete their own comments. Hello, I am sure this is a heavily requested topic, so if this is on the roadmap great, if not I really think this process would help a lot of users. I use Airtable for a number of use cases and have multiple builds. One feature that is rather consistently peeking its head is parent child linking. The first time this arose, and my primary use case, is in a contract management system my team and I built in Airtable. The question arose whether or not Airtable can achieve parent/child linking. The general consensus was a resounding "NO." I took this on as a challenge and after many hours of trouble shooting and testing, I believe I created a working two way linking between two or more records in our contracting system that links the parent to the children and child to the parent. This bidirectional syncs allows for various contract managers to work and link the records as they come in. Further, using the OrgChart extension, we can now see the entire contract family in a visual manner.    Now for the downside. This requires 5 separate automations with multiple actions and triggers which causes the linkage to be rather slow. I believe that if this was converted to a native backend process it would be speed up that linkage time and free up automation space in our base. Again if this is already on the roadmap great.
