Frustratingly, we can't create Grouped Logic, with AND and OR operators within Conditional Automation Actions. The above screenshot shows this limitation, where all conditions are locked into either AND or OR. What is the proposed idea/solution? To be able to turn off notifications for all records within a database besides when you are @ mentioned How does is solve the user problems? As an administrator I create 100's of records and and constantly bombarded with emails everytime there is a comment or change. How was this validated? My automations would be much easier to maintain if, instead of duplicating an automation for each possible trigger, I could have an action in another automation that triggered it. For example, I would like to send a certain email any time a button is pressed, and also under certain conditions if a form is submitted. Instead of having two identical automations with different triggers, I'd like to have: one automation based on the button press that sends the email (and does nothing else), and a form-triggered automation with a couple actions (unrelated to the email) and a conditional action that triggers the button-press automation to send the email.  ... Proposed idea We originally used the Form view to create forms that would _prefill fields and auto-redirect to the record that was created. This feature is currently not possible with the Form interface type. This would greatly improve user experience with the additional Form interface option. Proposed idea/solution Right now the interface button setting "Go to interface page" is restricted to pages within the same interface group of pages. Propose to extend the setting to other pages within any interface on the same base. Solution Currently one has to use either the "Go to external URL" or "Go to URL in record" to make possible the linking of pages on different interfaces on the same base. It would be good if a function similar to DLOOKUP in VBA could be available. I’d like to pull data from another table, but can’t if it’s not linked. As an example - I have a series of events at which people can hire things. They pay for a number of hire periods. I would like to see some Table Formatting options. For example, having every other line be slightly colored makes it easier for the eye to track across a wide table. If you sort the table, the formatting should be reapplied so the table stays “striped”. ... View more

Yo! I have been using Airtable for a little while now, coming from Trello, and I love it. Great work the Airtable team has done. There is one way I believe this already-great program can become even better, though. What about adding an option that allows a Multiple Select category to automatically arrange record data, based on the order the options appear in the dropdown menu? Notice how the “Damage” option appears before “Wounds” in the top record, but then after it in the record at the bottom? It would be of considerable benefit to a-many of us if we could get a tick option in the Multiple Select dropdown menu to automatically sort each record’s cell data. Thanks for reading. ... Hello! I have searched… but I have not found an option to print/export pdf one by one, with a dynamic pdf name. It’s possible with zappier + pdf filer, but I wanted to stay on Airtable for the whole process 🙂 My issue: I made a page layout with dynamic fields, and when I print them, I have only one big pdf called “BDDname_ BDDtable - Airtable.pdf”. Is it possible in the future to export record one by one in pdf, with a dynamic name for the pdf, for exemple : FirstName-LastName.pdf for each one. Thanks! Eric ... View more
