What is the proposed idea/solution? In interface page layouts, add the ability to collapse groups so that the header is visible but the fields nested beneath are not. An added bonus would be the ability to select whether a group is expanded or collapsed by default in the page template.... How does is solve the user problems? I have several interface page views that are quite long, and not all groups are applicable to all records. Allowing me to collapse the groups that are not relevant would make it easier for me to see and edit the most important information efficiently. How was this validated? What is the proposed idea/solution? Please add the ability to request a copy of your responses to the Form builder version of forms. This functionality currently exists in the Form "view" but not for forms built in the Form builder. How does is solve the user problems? This allows users to keep a copy for their own records of forms they have submitted. Our team uses this functionality often from the Form "view" version of Forms, but since Airtable is driving users to use the newer Form builder, it would be nice to see this functionality there as well. What is the proposed idea/solution? Hide the large image/space in an interface when no records match a view's filters. Currently when there are no records, it actually takes up much more visual space than if there is one matching record.   How does is solve the user problems? The old interface layout allowed you to have 2 colors to pick from for the background. The new interface is only light grey. It would be very helpful to be able to have several background colors to pick from to distinguish key areas. It would be nice to be able to adjust fonts, bold, italic, etc.  ... View more

What is the proposed idea/solution? Currently we've got the option of formatting a formula field as a single select, I'd like to format it as a muliple choice How does is solve the user problems? I'd use this feature for labeling records with what fields still need to be filled. Lets say the Name and Email fields are empty, it would show at the top of the record red labels of what information still needs to be filled in the record, and as you enter the info, the labels disappear. What is the proposed idea/solution? I would like to share an interface with a person that hasn't an Airtable account. How does is solve the user problems? In this way people without an account could see only that interface (not the base) through a link.  Who is the target audience? It is possible to impersonate a user while building/previewing Interfaces. Unfortunately impersonation is limited to the visibility of records, but doesn't consider the impersonee's permissions. E.g. an admin that impersonates a read-only user can still change the value of a field through an automation triggered by a button. Respecting the impersonee's permissions at least in preview mode would be very helpful for building interfaces. ... View more

I think a key missing feature is the ability to embed items into an interface. I think this could take one of two (or both) forms. 1. A field that functions kind of like a "document" field. You insert an embed link. When viewed in a base, or in a grid/list view, it just shows as a preview - But when viewed in a record details pane - it translates to a custom sizable-embedded page. Each record's embedded view is based on the link in the field - just like the Button field type.  2. A "hard-coded" form - kind of like the difference between the "button field type" and the buttons you can set up in an interface. In the from-scratch interface builder - there would be a new element type called "Embed" where you could manual populate to with whatever embedded link needed.
