I would find it very useful if there was an embed block that would be kind of similar to the page designer except that instead of printing it would be for embedding it into a website. The use case would be showing records from Airtable in a more customized way that would feel and look more just like a part of the webpage. Say I wanted to show a table with all our employees. Currently it is not possible to add tables between bases without loosing the link between the linked tables. Since it is easy to Duplicate a Base now, it should be easy to combine 2 bases together. Benefit of this would be to have control of the structure from one base to another. Example: You have many bases that you need to combine without starting from the beginning. Right now we can use Zapier to move data around but nothing to control structure of the tables. ... View more

Loving the new interface templates and designer. Been working on transferring all my old ones to the new setup so they can work on mobile, which is excellent! For my desktop users, we've been used to using [ctrl + f] in a grid view to have that little "pop-up" to find records.  Now with the new search bar, we have to click on the bar to start typing. It would be great if [ctrl + f] would somehow jump us to that search bar. Not sure if this kind of thing is possible? ... View more

Airtable is changing the face of software applications by separating data from form. The Gantt, Timeline, Calendar and Kanban views are awesome. Why have special apps for these functions when your data underneath can be visualised as needed! My product suggestion is that a Network and Tree View be added. OR OR Technically these are all Directed Acyclic Graphs and there are myriads of use cases where business data forms either a hierarchy or a flow graph. Maybe Zapier has spoiled me, but it would be really nice to get a little more granular detail on our automation runs within our bases/workspaces. Right now, the only way to see any form of metadata re: automations is to go to individual automation’s run history, or to have admin privileges and see how many runs are left in your quota for that exact live billing period/month. I know it’s probably out of scope for this product to offer as granular of detail on these things as Zapier, but being able to look at run quantities from previous months/billing periods, or being able to see which automations are using most of the runs we have allocated would be really really nice from an operational standpoint! ... I'd like the ability to open up a details side-page for a record by clicking a button in an interface page. For my use case, I have team members providing feedback via a "form", which is just a page layout with multiple editable fields. Occasionally, some peeps have wanted to see additional details to provide context to their feedback. These details come via a rollup from connected records in another table, and the delivery was very cumbersome, especially when there were many connected records involved. This often disrupted the original layout of the page, so I solved by creating a new interface page dedicated to hosting these details. Currently users can get there via a button to the 2nd page's URL. I think a slightly more elegant solution would be for the button to open up a record details side page, and allow me to display the rollup field there. This would let some of my team see the additional details if they wanted to, without disrupting the page layout, and without taking them away from the page. ... View more
