Hi - I’m a lender and would like to use page designer to generate monthly statements for my borrowers. Ideally these are easily converted to pdf and saved in an attachment field for each record in a view. Right now there is no easy way to do this except for printing each separately and adding manually, or printing all records, splitting, and then uploading. We could save to an attachment field using a template and Formstack integration, but there are a couple limitations. No table view for linked fields and Formstack pricing is based on the number or merges, which would start to add up quickly. What is the proposed idea/solution? The proposed idea is to show different record details templates within the same interface list depending on specific record criteria, such as a single-select field. For example, if one record's status is "Order in Backlog," when clicked the record detail template would be different than another record with the status "Delivered."  How does is solve the user problems? This would allow for fewer interface lists. In other words, we could collapse multiple lists into a single list without losing the benefit of unique record-detail templates associated with multiple lists. This would help organize reduce "Interface fatigue," where too many Interfaces creates confusion and fatigue. How was this validated? Personal experience. Who is the target audience? A small feature request. It would be helpful if Airtable displayed the colour name when hovering over the colour-picker options when building a single/multi-select field, and in the Color Condition options - similarly to how Excel does. I’ve used Airtable for a long time and I wish it had these two simple features: Ability to reset filters/groups/sorting to a user-defined default for each view. That way I can play around but then reset to the defaults. Right now I just generate a view-only link for myself so I don’t mess up my view and refresh to get back to the default settings. It would be much better though if I could make changes in-base then either reset them or set them as the new default to lock them in. Ability to update all views when I change something. For example, if I add a new column and then resize the column then for all of my other views, that column will be tacked on to the end and will not be resized. It’s a lot of work to go through and fix that column in every view every time I want to make a minor change like resizing or adding a column. Often I just delete all of my views and recreate them, since it’s easier than manually updating them all. Anyone agree? Any workarounds that I’m not realizing? ... View more
