Hey folks! I use Airtable for literally everything. I’m constantly making new apps and automating processes for everything I do, whether it’s business or even just tracking personal stuff like gym progress. One thing that I had always wanted for a long while has been to have the ability to create some really customized views of my Airtable data on a website. Specifically, to bring some more interactivity to my tables and connect some of them to the outside world more easily. I wanted a way of hooking Airtable up to the web where I could use HTML/CSS to creatively display the data and let users interact with it. Basically, I wanted to be able to quickly prototype simple web apps utilizing Airtable as a backend, without the fuss of having to do a whole bunch of programming and maintaining a server for each new project I started. The question of how to extract the last name from a combined “first [middle][…] last [suffix]” name string – or the last word from a multi-word string – comes up from time to time. Hello there, I discovered interfaces last week and I’ve been blown away by the opportunities they open. For months I’ve been frustrated by the lack of analytics in Stripe. When I saw Interfaces, I told myself that it could be a good solution to build relevant analytics. So, I’ve built a new database connected to Stripe and created an interface to display the metrics I need, the result is just great. I show it with test data in this video.

Looking to create a 15-20 step new hire workflow process (background check sent, background check received, employment letter sent, employee letter received, email set-up, etc.) In addition, at some of these steps, I would like an email to be sent to the new hire advancing through workflow process and/or existing internal HR employees that are assisting in the new hire workflow process. Is this type of task something that can be easily accomplished via Airtable? If so, I would be interested in working with a consultant to help set-up the new hire workflow. Thank you!

Hey community, We’re a small creative studio that’s currently managing our growing business via Slack/Google Workspace and Dropbox with a variety of Pages docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Slides presentations. It’s functioning but highly redundant. We recently moved one of our critical spreadsheets for project management into Airtable and it’s functioning well. We’d like to find a consultant that can help us structure our databases, and build out forms and automation to make Airtable our central agency management tool. I am a city employee whose office tracks constituent service requests of multiple types, each with varying degrees of tracking, as well as using AT for teams and projects. Hello, we have been researching and looking into different formulas that would allow us to highlight duplicates. We are looking to add a formula like this How to Highlight Duplicates in Google Sheets but for AirTable. However, we have yet to add or find any successful formulas that will highlight any duplicates automatically if they are added. We are looking for an expert to help create this functionality in every table that we have. So that we can add this to all of our tables.

Hi there, this question has been asked before on the community: Convert address (list) to geocode (latitude and longitude) through map block and google API What we need: A Script or Automation that reads the geocode field of a table and writes lat lon coordinates to separate fields of the same table. What we know: The field is base64 encoded, needs to be decoded and the lat lon values extracted from the array. This base uses the Unsplash API to search for images and save them to your base for review. The base is published on the Airtable Universe here. To use this base, copy it from the Universe into your workspace. You will need an Airtable Pro account and access to the scripting block to make it work. To get going, go to the Unsplash Developer pages, create an account, then create an Unsplash application. This will create an access key and a secret key for the app (we only need the access key). Open the script block in Airtable, click on “Edit” and replace the access key default string with your access key: Close the script editor and run the script.

We created an open-source project that you can clone and build off of to add a custom Airtable dashboard to your website: You can clone the repo and start customizing right away. This project uses Next.js, ChartJS, and Sequin to quickly display metrics on a website. You’ll see some revenue metrics in there from Stripe, but you can remove those if you’d prefer. Hello! I am looking to build out a workflow for the below use case for my company: I am building a list of potential prospects. I also have an Affinity account where I manage relationships with different prospects who might appear on the list. Steps I want to be able to take: Enter new contact name in Airtable list Auto-populate a column beside that contact name with information about any pre-existing relationship with that contact (ie. if others at my firm have connected with them, if others in my Affinity contact list know them, etc.) I am open to workaround to this solution (ie. pulling data from LinkedIn relationships rather than Affinity) but pulling relationship information from Affinity would be ideal. Hello, I am new to airtable and would like to explore hiring a consultant to help on set up some automations and integrations for a startup company. We are currently working within the product catalog template, and have set up our products, vendors, etc. but now need help with the next few steps to make everything come full circle. -set up the page designer to create custom invoices that automatically populate from our orders, have the PDF integrate back into our client orders page, and automatically send them emails with their invoice PDF’s. -Automation within selections of items – where product selection and selected information would appear in a PDF/tear sheet with specifics (thumbnails, links, price, dimensions, etc.) Automations with a survey platform – we are currently using survey planet, and can only see how it is manually integrated. Looking to create several new fields, likely in a new table, including “most recent engagement date” which pulls the most recent date from multiple date fields in different tables (e.g. events, tasks & communications), and “most recent engagement content” which pulls the corresponding text field from the record that was pulled for the “most recent engagement date”. We are trying to create a report that includes these new fields, and I think we will need to create a new table to do this.
