Hi, I am looking for a consultant who could help design and built a project management platform for a non-profit organization. We use Airtable currently and need to take it to the next level. What we are looking for in a consultant is someone who can understand our work, what we want to accomplish and meet with Project Managers to design a system that meets our needs and could be updated by Project Managers going forward. Key elements include designing and building a project management system to Capture many different project types with relevant info and map them to organizational goals Link CRM contacts to projects as applicable Distinguish among different task types and link tasks to projects, highlighting due dates, deliverables, etc

I’m looking for someone to take over a small project which is a mix of airtable and stacker hq. The previous person I was working with did a great job, but had a death in the family and needed to step away. The airtable project is a small setup that helps us track email correspondence with a list of contacts. It’s similar to a CRM, but this is a majorly pared down version. Emails are received in my inbox, it’s automatically forwarded to another email address only used for airtable, we have a custom script already done that takes that email, checks it against the contact database and if it matches it logs it. I have all the documentation from our work and all the heavy lifting has been completed, we were just making minor tweaks to airtable and zapier, then integrating fully into Stacker HQ which is about 50% done. Once that is completed, I have several other project queued up that this work would lead to as soon as we complete this phase.

Hi there. We are trying to replace an old unix-based system with Airtable, and looking for someone to help us get started. While we probably have the technical skills to make it happen, to us it doesn’t make much sense to set things up, perhaps improperly, from the beginning. So, looking for someone to help us get our product and customer data imported properly, and develop a sales process including invoicing, and then eventually work with the same person to develop stuff down the road in regards to integrations, work orders for our shop, etc. Email works fine, but eventually want to have a phone conversation. I just wish they’d bake the underlying AI into the Airtable code editors. I have a team offering appointments for customers to book using an Airtable form and Softr to display the available appointments. Members of the team offer appointments at the same time, meaning that at the moment, Monday at 1pm for example, is listed 3 times on the website. I’d like for one Monday at 1pm record to be listed, displaying the next one only when the first gets booked. The website pulls from a table of available appointments which filters out anything that occurs in the past and anything that gets booked. It would be great to here from anyone who thinks they may be able to come up with a solution to this!

You may be in a situation where you have a dataset with a lot of numbers, and you can’t find any meaning in it. (It’s me. I’m in this situation :raising_hand_woman:t5: ) If I could only break those numbers up into smaller groups, maybe I’d be able to better digest and distill some meaning. As a first start, I figured why not group these numbers into a nice set of four quartiles: Low, Below Median, Above Median, and High. That way I can use Airtable’s grouping to get a better sense of what I’m dealing with. I’ll preface by saying that I majored in English and I do not stand behind any mathematical concepts I’m using. If they’re wrong, call me out, I seriously don’t know better. Until recently, the only way you could run calculations on the content of an entire field was through rollups, which was pretty inconvenient and took some mental gymnastics to understand. In this thread I demoed an API for exporting your base in CSV format. The main issue is that it requires credentials to be passed as visual parameters in the URL. I’ve overcome this by making a new endpoint which accepts a POST request to store the sensitive information securely. A successful POST request will return a link for downloading your base as CSV which does not show any keys in plain sight. This link will only need to be generated once and will always show the latest data of the chosen table when used. It will be great for analysis, scheduled backups, or sharing a specific table with a client who wants access to live data by CSV. Just wanted to share this I just found out about it. Didn’t know about it. There are buttons and menus to create new records but didn’t know there are keyboard shortcuts which quickly made the favorite way to add new records. In particular if you are on the top of the table, there is no new record button (as it is on the bottom) and you had to use the right click menu (too many steps). So this is nice time-saver. To add multiple records quickly, you can use the keyboard shortcut Shift + Enter. Start by clicking the primary field above the place where you want to insert new records. Then, press and hold Shift and then press Enter (holding Enter if you want to quickly add multiple new records). Hello, I’m trying to configure airtable to help with a freelancer identification tool. I’d like someone to submit a need for a freelancer in one form and specify the role they are searching for and job description. I’d then like that role name and job description to appear in a drop down list in a DIFFERENT form where freelancers can apply for the specific role. I’d then be able to match the records easily on the backend (match demand with supply) without doing it manually. The problem is that it’s near impossible to link a record from a submitted form of an applicant to a new project that was submitted by a client. The issue is that we can’t automatically tag one to the other. So to reiterate Is there anyway to link a client form submission to an “open role” field in the applicant form?

Hi all, Had a bit of inspiration from this cool script shared by @Jeremy_Oglesby. My goal was to have an easy solution to categorize the transactions imported from all of my accounts/financial institutions. Here’s the scenario: There will be some frequently occurring transactions like Uber or your preferred supermarket that should have been categorised accordingly so the remaining ones can be categorised manually. Some personal finance apps might do it for you but I always find them lacking in some other areas hence I always built my own solution - previously in spreadsheets and now Airtable. This was surprisingly easy to achieve with a small modification of the script. Here’s how it works. The first table contains all the transactions data. The second table is a list of categories with a matching “keyword” separated by the pipe symbol ("|") that will be used to categorize the transactions in the first table.
