What is the proposed idea/solution?... Have the chance to apply different conditions and/or filters to columns (like lookup) in different views.How does is solve the user problems?... At this moment, the only way to apply different conditions to columns is to duplicate the tables and apply the new condition or filter. If we had the chance to create different views with better control of conditions and filters, we would be able to reduce the number of tables and have everything in the same table but with different views.Why do we need different conditions? if we want to apply automations and scripts is easier if we are able to filter the data and the columns in views. We can apply the automation to that specific view.Who is the target audience?... Everyone that works with multiple kinds of products, clients, locations etc, and wants to analyze data based on a specific feature. 

What is the proposed idea/solution?Currently the filters in Interface for a Boolean filter is limited to "is". The user does not have the option to "ignore the field" by leaving it unchecked . Unchecked pulls up all unchecked records, checked pulls up all checked records. This is too rigid of an option and causes user to get confused by the records they see when they don't check the box in the filter. When you press the "reset" link next to the filter, the user thinks they are seeing all the records when, in fact, they are seeing only the unchecked records.The solution would be to have 2 options for the modifier "is" and "any". The checkbox is grayed out or hidden if the user selects the "any" modifier.    

It’s good to have the several row-height options that Airtable currently gives us, but I really wish we had one more, which might be called “Adjust to Fit”. When displaying a table view, this option would shrink rows if the largest text field doesn’t contain much text, and make a row taller if it contains more lines of text.

What is the proposed idea/solution?To hide the first (main) column of a table in a Grid element.How does it solve user problems?Not all tables' first column is important, especially for tables that mainly connect between linked records. While the first column cannot be hidden on Airtable base tables, it should be possible on the Interface Designer's Grid element.Who is the target audience?Those who use the Grid element on the Interface Designer.

What is the proposed idea/solution?To be able to group Interface Designer's pages into sections. Additionally, to access them via hover/clicked dropdown or mega menu at the top when the Interface is published.How does it solve user problems?If a user has multiple pages in the Interface Designer, the user should be able to group them into different sections for a cleaner, more organized view. Like data table views having sections on the left, pages should, too, as they act as an alternative to table views.Who is the target audience?Interface Designer users.

What is the proposed idea/solution?To use other Number elements on the page as a source for a Number elementHow does it solve user problems?Number element, by itself, can use one table as a source. Still, if I have multiple Number elements using different tables as a source, it would be helpful to get the sum (or other summary types) of other elements, so there's a grand total of some sort.How was this validated?The same idea as how Number elements work, but using other elements as a source rather than a table.Who is the target audience?Those who use the Dashboard template on the Interface Designer.

Currently an automation can update records in another table of the same base, but it is not possible to update a record in another base. Please make this possible so that we don't have to depend on third-party solutions (e.g. Make/Zapier).Thank you!

The organization of bases within a Pro workspace is insufficient. Naming and/or color coding is not enough. As the number of bases increases, you need to archive old data or may wish to logically organize bases into groups (or collections), for the growing volume of bases.Can we please have a better user experience to group bases. Airtable has an existing analogy for this with “sections” that group views. At an account level, we needs similar functionality to group bases. My recommendation is that these be called "collections". This capability would enable workspace administrators to better see and organize their collection of bases.

It would be great to have a field type specifically for JSON (not just Long Text fields).This would allow us to store more complex structures of data inside a single table, including custom properties that we may not know ahead of time. What is the proposed idea/solution?...It would be very helpful to have kanban views be able to open to collapsed cards.  I have two views that are great and useful, How does is solve the user problems?...but collapsed cards would limit the amount of time searching for the desired one.How was this validated?...by the time that it takes to search for the kanban, or time it would take to collapse all the cardsWho is the target audience?...everyone who has kanban views that contain large amounts

I would like to have the chance to automatically attach my page designer block files in airtable. In this way, I can send to each client a personalized document. I can’t do it manually, my database is composed of more than 5k clients.Thank you very much!

In Interface designer, when I am configuring my record detail, I keep trying to re-order them the way I do in views by dragging and dropping in the list butwhen I click the row it pulls it off the list. Might be a change to make it not look like that fields option or to let you move fields in that way.

Hi, My iPhone doesn’t allow me to change the width of the first column, making it very hard to read what is written there…

It seems a recent change has been made so that when a person is in a base, and we select “Add Collaborators” it gives us the option to add to the Workspace or the Base. This has caused several people to mistakenly add people to a workspace instead of a base which can be a big problem if a company has private info within the workspace they don’t want people to see. It’s our request that you remove this feature. When inside the base itself no option should come up to add to workspace. This should be done from the workspace level only. Thank you,

I would like views to be automatically set to collaborative, not personal, or at least have the option to set which you’d like to be automatically set. My team never really uses personal views and it’s frustrating to have to change it every time!

Proposed idea/solutionRight now the interface button setting "Go to interface page" is restricted to pages within the same interface group of pages. Propose to extend the setting to other pages within any interface on the same base.SolutionCurrently one has to use either the "Go to external URL" or "Go to URL in record" to make possible the linking of pages on different interfaces on the same base. This works, however, if you duplicate the base (from a template base) you have to reset all the links.Target audienceAnyone who uses a base as a template to clone/duplicate into another base.

Proposed ideaWe originally used the Form view to create forms that would _prefill fields and auto-redirect to the record that was created. This feature is currently not possible with the Form interface type. This would greatly improve user experience with the additional Form interface option.SolutionIntroduce the prefill (default value) to the interface Form and include the option (slider) to allow the form to either redirect or stay put until user closes.

It would be great if we had an able/disable option to let users add options to a single/multi select fields when filling in a form.

It would be great if the COUNTIF and the COUNTIFS formulas were implemented in Airtable. I use them in most of my excel spreadsheets, and it is a little frustrating not being able to use it here. Are there any plans to add more formulas?

We really would love the ability to AUTOMATICALLY sort the related list of linked records.We know that we can MANUALLY sort the related list of linked records, but we would love the ability to AUTOMATICALLY sort.Oh, and equally important, we’re not just looking for the ability to automatically sort linked records alphabetically. I’d love a way to mass clear all of the notifications from one’s drop down list of notifications and turn them into read notification.

One of my fields is a link to another table. I’d like end-users who are using the Form to add data to be able to create new records in the linked table but from the primary table data entry form.
