I know that his has been requested a number of times. I couldn’t find to +1, so I’m doing so here. It’s so chintzy to have the AT logos on the summaries and charts I share. A big thing pushing me to explore other options.

Here’s my use case: I’m sending a form to my employees with a list of upcoming jobs (jobs table). I want to display a multiple select checkbox list of all job records in a particular view in the jobs table (all unassigned jobs over the next 45 days). Employee would scan the list, check the box next to each job they are able to work, then submit the form. The submission would create a new record in a scheduling forms table (junction table) that links a job record with 1 or more employee records. Anybody have a good solve for this?

I’d love to be able to see a visual style of graph in a cell. For example, if there are 3/5 items related to one linked field “DONE” I’d love to see a field I may call “PROGRESS” which has a cell for that record that is filled by 60%. Your competitor, Monday has a great example of how this works well. They call it Baseline in this example below.Being able to colorize it based on its completion (ratio) would be icing on the cake.

I have MS Teams for IP phone system and have hundreds of people in my Airtable roster. It would be very helpful to be able to click to call people instead of enter the number into teams. The “tel://” fix that Airtable implemented works for some IP phone systems, but unfortunately doesn’t work with Teams :frowning: . They just use standard “tel:” and phone number.

I am a little disappointed that Airtable wants to advertise to the users of the form we create. Even if you specify a URL after the form… they show you an ad for 5 seconds… Anyone else getting this after form submission… we have a paid account… there is no option to turn it off.

Hey!Look at Coda and it’s form builder 🙂 I think there is a TONE of wasted screen real estate in the current form of forms :stuck_out_tongue:A way to put them together in an efficient way, would be nice.

Two product suggestions for the CSV Import Block:If our CSV file has a field in it that doesn’t already exist in our Airtable table, the CSV Import Block just completely ignores that CSV field. However, it would be great if the Import Block gave us the option to create new fields for any new fields that it finds in the CSV file.Please allow us to import fields into Long Text Fields, even if Rich Text Formatting is turned on. Currently, it’s a real bummer that the Import Block can’t import fields from a CSV file into a Long Text field, if the Rich Text Formatting option is turned on for the Long Text field. CSV files NEVER have any rich text formatting because they are simply plain text files, so I’m not sure why it would be a problem to simply import plain text into a field that has RTF enabled on it. As it stands now, the only way to import CSV files into a long text field is to turn OFF the RTF formatting option in Airtable — but then we lose

There is already this feature request (forum URL plus “/t/request-entity-relationship-diagram/2490”) that asks for a visual representation of the different elements in a base, which would be great BUT also…I’m trying to ditch my LucidChart subscription so that I can use Airtable for everything, but right now the ability to create ERDs (for content models for content strategy) is the one thing I still need LucidChart (or Visio) for. My job requires very large (e.g. 500k+ pages) site migrations, so not having visual representation of relationships between content types can make projects very difficult for everyone across our team to reason about.I could see having something like “cardinality” or the more colloquial “crow’s foot notation” in column B to show the relationships between the content types listed in columns A and C. Grid columns are coloured when they are subject to a sort (pink) or filter (green). However, I would like to colour columns myself - e.g. to show other users that data entry is required for that field - purely a cosmetic change to the view. Is this possible?

Another feature request for you guys - HTML in the form submission message. A friend of mine (who I’ve turned on to Airtable) is using Airtable to collect information via forms for his business. I’d love to be able to put a PayPal button in the form submission message for people that decide they want to buy on the spot after giving us their info.

I have a suggestion and simple improvement when using the “Delete Field” option for a column. I myself have accidentally deleted an entire column/field without realizing it and luckily was able to recover in the trash. However I feel the way that this is currently set up is very poor. The “Delete Field” is directly below the “Hide Field” so one little mis-click and you’ve deleted a field/column instead of hiding it. In addition, when you click “Delete Field” there is no verification that pops up saying “Are you sure you want to delete this field?” a safety feature present in other areas of the software but not here. I propose that this pop-up be added whenever someone clicks the “Delete Field” as this may save a lot of headache. Thank you for your consideration.

Please add hyperlinking capabilities in fields. I need to link without having a full url display in a field. This is basic functionality that I get in excel. I like Airtable for things that it does better than Excel, obviously, but this is something that seems like baseline functionality.

Hi, i tried to install the map app yesterday. I didn’t go through the API process BUT since i tried to install it it changes the value of some records! what’s happened ? any idea ?

I would like the ability to color code my table buttons in the UI. This way I could group tables together by color and function. I currently have 11 tables that track different aspects of our business and people access them to interact with the data. I’d like to be able separates these “working tables” from tables I’ll be connecting to Cognito Forms for capturing client entered data. For safety / simplicity, we’ll be adding a new table in Airtable for each form on our website. We’re looking at creating about 8 different forms. I’d love to be able to color the tables that our employees will be interacting with, and assign a different color to the tables that exist as a data store for form data. As a related, but possibly separate request, I’d like the ability to hide / show tables. This would be especially useful for join tables that aren’t supposed to be accessed directly, but rather as a way of creating many to many relationships.

Hello! I know everyone tends to have different versions of Airtable, so at this stage, I’m not sure how important this post is, but a recent update has rendered the new field functionality gut-wrenchingly unusable for me.When I create a new field in a table, the very first thing I want to do is name that field, but a recent update has actually taken away the ability for me to do this, and instead I first need to define “type” - I don’t know what to say other than…Please, please, please change this.

I’d like to be able to create a calendar view that lets me choose both the date range and the other field to be used for the record name aside from the primary key.For example, let’s say I’ve got a calendar of students who are going to take their drivers’ license test, each taking it in one of several locations. In grid view, I could create a formula field to concatenate their name and the location of their test, then in calendar view, set their test date/time as the date/time field, and the formula field as the calendar event name field. So instead of just showing the student’s name, it shows the name and the location both in Airtable’s main calendar view, and in the iCal export feed.

Hi – We are running into challenges in having a large number of users with Editor permissions that need to be able to update records in our tables, but also make changes to the View configuration (filters, groupings, etc) that break usage models that we’ve put in place. The bulk of our users are ones that need read-write permissions at the record level, but don’t need the ability to change the view filters/configuration of public, shared views. So our use case is something like this: Configure a views that work well for a given purpose Assign an owner responsible for making any changes to the view configuration (including fielding requests for such changes). For example, a “View Owner” field at the View level. This product would be very useful for both higher education and P-12 applications if it was FERPA compliant. FERPA came up a few times in the HIPPA section, but it is worth examining on its own as FERPA compliance is likely more of a contractual issue than a technical issue. Schools (P-12 and higher ed.) have a responsibility to keep student data private and only contact with software companies who agree contractually to abide by the same data responsibilities. Perhaps Airtable already has all the technical data controls needed to be FERPA compliant and the only issue is the necessary contractual guarantees to meet educational standards. I’d like to be able to take the product (i.e. multiply all numbers together) of all associated values in a Rollup field. I need this because I’m trying to aggregate a bunch of independent probabilities together.Is there some way to do this already that I’m missing?

I’d like the ability to mass upload attachments from a folder, but the important thing is that I need to link each attachment to a separate record. Use Case Scenario: I perform quality assurance on web forms and track defects using screenshots. I have to drag and drop each screenshot of a defect to a new record. Instead, I’d like to select all the screenshots at once and import them into individual records.
