I realise that this must feel like old ground and a Iknow a lot of poeple have been begging for this for a long time and I know you think were very pleased to announce you’d fixed it - but certainly with regardless the long discussions earlier in the eyar - you obvsiously werent’ reading it properly. Taht group weren’t asking to embed stuff IN airtable - why would you want ot do that when you can only share it with users or put it in the programme. This content is made to be published obviously !!! And these days for most of us that means in our website. bAsically you’ve developed a lovely dashboarding tool but wont let us actually use it. We want to embed blocks and the pages they are in in our EXTERNAL WEBSITE. not the other way round. And no, the embed one block with the table isnt’t he answer and no just being able to view a picture isn’t the answer - integrated, live data from airtable into our websites pLEASE

Hi! Today I received an notifaction stating that someone (flukey email address) was requesting to join one of my bases. I find this very troublesome and makes me rethink using airtable for structuring company and client information. I dont know alot about the structure of airtable, but is there any ways to prevent this from happening? In any case, what can other people see about my account and bases?

I am wondering whether Airtable team ever considered rolling out a paid plan targeted at individual users. By individual users I mean people who have the product for personal use, maybe only occasional and whose volume of data is really low. Such a plan could include some blocks useful for personal planning, like Timeline, Matrix or Map. Let me share an example. When blocks were present in the Free Plan, I decided to use the Map block for planning a trip with my friends. I invited them to Airtable and we had a table with destinations each linked to the map. That was very convenient as everyone was able to overview the map. The only problem is that blocks are part of the Pro plan which costs too much for individual users and their use cases. I think the key differentiator of those users is that the amount of records they work on is small. Literally tens of records per base. What will do for them is some reasonable fee for the features included in the Free plan + some bl

Hi,I could not find that feature in the app, neither mention in the documentation.Currently Airtable provides comment feature on records and attachments.I’d like to comment on a specific table and base as I want to discuss topics at that level.There are feature requests for field (=column) and individual cell level commenting.Have a nice day,Géza

I love having the Locked View feature to lock the structure of the view for my employees. However, it is only the structure I need to lock and would still love to be able to have filtering functionality within a locked view.Thank you.

It would be usefull to be able to nest tabs into one other. Example:ClientsClient listInteractionsProjectsSalesInvoicesShipping tracking numbersInventoryMaterialsBOMProductsInventory adjustementsThis would facilitate navigation inside a large and complex base.

Right now these field (column) types are not supported for public form views. This would be a very handy feature and could eliminate the necessary of another software platform.

I find this would be simple to do and useful:Add numbers to labels for fields (e.g. in small grey letters).Add same numbers in the drop down menu of the Hidden fields configuration menu (the list under find a field). The number could be on the left or the right of the field name. This will then help me to navigate the table.Bonus: Even better would be if I could click on that number in the drop down menu and that click would take me to the actual field in the table, so I don’t need to scroll the screen left and right.

I would love to have an automated way to create a new view.Would need to have view attributes, hidden fields, filters, sort, grouping, visibility, etc

I am working on a base where I want to produce a ‘page’ for records with a table of linked records which could contain anything from 30 to 250+ records. It would be great if this could be accommodated in page designer by allowing the table to be variable length and to paginate sensibly by repeating headings on new pages etc.

Hello !Simple feature with great value : it would be nice to have a Description field in the Automations, similar to the Description in Tables, Columns, or Apps,

It would be very helpful to have the ability to set up some kind of notification for changes to the base structure (adding/removing/renaming columns or tables). Not having this ability results in having to manually review our bases for changes when something breaks. :grimacing:

We do a lot of tagging others here at our company to comment on records. It would be nice to be able to have a super loud chime when someone tags you in a record. It’s hard to read 20-30 notifications and find the ones i’m tagged in rather than just “bill commented on…” when it doesn’t pertain to me anymore. I’m talking for the PC. I know that you can set it up for ios.Just maybe some better all around push notifications for PC?

I currently use some 3rd party google chrome plugin to mark up and put texts on attached PDF files. I have to mark up, crop, download, then re upload an image. How about integrating some type of mark up system right on PDFs or images. It could show who marked it up. The attachment comments only got us halfway there. But when there is a 8 page PDF its hard to keep track too.

It would be nice if there was an easy way to see all missing field errors in Airtable. Right now if I delete a field (e.g. accidentally) I have to scroll through the whole table (100’s of fields) to look look for fields showing the red exclamation sign.Suggesting:Add a notification somewhere visible in the interface saying there are Missing Fields errorsAn Airtable App that would list all the fields with red exlamation sign, maybe show additional information what the missing field was etc and clicking on those would take me directly to the table where the field is.

Suggesting to add field title name above the detail window. The window overlaps the field name so it’s not clear which field it pertains to.

Hello Airtable Powers That Be!I am sure this has been suggested before, but it would be a HUGE upgrade if the Shared View URL filters had more operators. Right now, I would specifically like to request the “contains” operator.If we could use the URL filter to check for “contains”, then it could function with Linked Record and look up fields when multiple values are returned. Also, the URL could use a shorthand instead of the full string.I know you are working on amazing big features like Custom Blocks and Automations, but would love to see this functionality to improve collaboration and communication.

It would be great to see the addition of some new relative terms to the date filters.As a daily user of Airtable, these terms would be useful from a reporting perspective:Last Week - if it is week 23 now, then show my records from week 22.Last Month - if it is June now, then show my records from May.Last Quarter - if it is Q2 now, then show my records from Q1.Last Year - if it is 2019 now, then show my records from 2018.Thoughts?

I’ve been using the org chart app to make hierarchical diagrams of the departments in my organisation that will update live as employee data changes. It’d be really good if there was an option to add titles, graphics etc to the chart that print out with the pdf, e.g “Finance Department” + the company logo. The chart by itself looks bare and isn’t self-explanatory. Adding this feature would really help. 🙂

Can we please allow scripts to be run through links?! I believe this could potentially have many use cases.My Use case.I recently built a base for a client who owns a large Portfolio of real estate assets and wanted a flexible Property Management System, so i decided to do it on Airtable.I have built many scripts that automate tasks such as creating new tenant contracts + simultaneously creates new corresponding bills, scripts that spit out custom reports such as a City Report, Building Report, Unit Report, or Tenant Reports.When running the City reports (it shows a list of all buildings in that city + relevant information about each building), it would be nice to have the building names as a hyperlink, and when clicking on it, it would run the “Building report” script.

Here is screenshot of my Airtable chaos I have in one of my bases. The main table has about 400 fields and I can’t really move them to another table without creating duplicate data entry, manual work or need for automation. If I need to figure things out, it’s a fishing expedition. The issue with the Base Schema app is it doesn’t keep the highlighted field while I move the tables around to explore the linking. I need to zoom in and out and move around but as soon as I move the mouse pointer from the field (cell), the focus changes and the cell is no longer highlighted (so when I highlight the cell to see linkages and then try to move around, the red color is gone). I am not saying the red highlight should stay permanent, what I would wish for is if there was a way to “freeze” the highlighted cell and linkages while I am exploring the relationships.

In our base, I have plenty of users who don’t utilize the Personal View setting, so our view list is getting cluttered with dozens and dozens of views that otherwise could be filtered out. Many views look like this but are public:" Basic View - Jordan" I think a great suggestion would be one of the following: Workspace Owners would have the right to make a view a personal view AND assign the views ownership to an individual. Folders for Views to help keep views organized by teams that use them

We are using Airtable in our real estate company as our primare base for storing all these complex data regarding owners, properties, law firms etc etc. When we want to expand a record either directly or clicking on a linked table record, the expanded view takes so long to scroll mainly because of the big spacing. (see attached image). Of course i understand that you have put much more thought and time to take this desicion, But i would like to suggest either reduce the vertical space size or give the option to the user, like gmail has the cosy, comfortable or compact spacing. Some tables contain 30 rows, so in expanded view, takes quite long to reeach teh info. On the other hand, the Grid standard makes has better spacing.

The search block accomplishes a way to find items in my tables, and I like it. I believe a logical extension to this function would be to allow one to update many records (mass) as a 'find and replace" use case, in addition to searching the table. Please consider adding this feature, as I believe it to be a very useful productivity case, and it will indeed be popular for all block users. Kevin
