Nested records don't currently have a great way to view, as the list view hierarchy only supports nested records in some contexts, and has a limited number of levels shown when it is supported.Implement a view or add to an existing view (e.g. list) the ability to have nested records of the same type and infinite (or at least more) levels of nesting displayed.The ability to fold nested levels to better navigate the list would make this very manageable for large datasets with several layers of nesting. 

What is the proposed idea/solution?I use the Timeline view to plan staff resourcing, and I need to see when weekends are so that we can plan around them. The single letters representing days are very small, and visually it takes very intentional cross-checking between the entries and the records and the days on the timeline at the top, which makes the process a lot more fiddly.Currently, the only way to do this visually in the way I'd need it is to create a record for a weekend and colour it based on the day of the week and tag it in every swim lane, however, creating an empty record purely for a weekend could potentially cause data issues. It'd be easier if we had the options to colour dates on the UI.How does is solve the user problems?People could track regular deadlines, weekends, public holidays etc on timelines without the need to create a record (potentially causing data issues) to do so. 

What is the proposed idea/solution?The org chart extension is a great tool to visualise a tree of records where there is a parent/child relationship implemented using a linked field to a record of the same type. However, the extension isn't easy to integrate into an interface and there is no good way for an end user to choose which group of records should be visualised. How does is solve the user problems?Adding the visualisation to interface designer integrates this data view into interfaces and could provide the end user some control over what records are displayed in the visualisation

What is the proposed idea/solution?Add an option to display a form in multiple languages with a toggle drop down for the end user, like it is in Microsoft FormsHow does is solve the user problems?Allows people trying to reach multilingual groups to easily select their preferred language to fill out the form without having separate links to multiple versions of the form.How was this validated?...Who is the target audience?Any users who use forms and have a diverse audience.

As a workspace admin, I would like to be able to see which of my users have two-factor authentication enabled and enforce 2FA usage at the workspace level. Is this currently possible? If not, is it on the roadmap? This would be a huge security win.

Some buttons can have rules applied to them so that they only appear for certain users, for example.Other buttons don't, like top-level 'view' buttons.This means I still have to duplicate interfaces to provide differing levels of access.Please enable 'Visibility Rules' for all buttons in interfaces. See attached image of where this configuration could go.

What is the proposed idea/solution?The light greyblue linked record background in the List View on Interfaces makes me sad. Maybe make the grey take up the whole field, like a Large view of a Single Select field? Or maybe just transparent? I think something different would really help with the wonderful dropdown selection window.How does is solve the user problems?It takes out the sadness of the dreary grey and replaces it with the joy of not-grey.Who is the target audience?Look at that grey and tell me it doesn't make you sad. I love the new forms interface, and I am glad it finally made it in the navigation bar. Now if you could please allow for forms in that view to be segmented into sections that would be amazing. Currently only allows to add new forms to the list, but there is no add section in the Form View column.

I want to be able to hide the primary field when I am sharing specific views. Specifically I would love to do this in the gallery view but ideally in all views.

It would be great to make automation error messages more sophisticated. For instance it would be very helpful to build an error log in a table in order to assign errors to certain users or mark them as resolved etc. (at the moment the person who triggered the automation receives the error notification / email).Especially when dealing with more complex bases and / or using scripts in automations, errors are pretty common and a useful part of the development process. At the moment unfortunately not useful enough 🙂

Can we add two new "bucket by" options on interface charts? I would like to view my data by the half hour and by the quarter hour to see when people are checking out of our space. 

We use forms to help with faster/more accurate data entry. It would be great if the help text in the forms automatically filled with the field description. As is, I enter this info twice because some team members like to use the form to fill in the database, and others like to do it from within Airtable.

Is there a way to make the column description tooltips appear in the form views (Expand Record and in forms you create)? If not, I’d like to request this.

Hi Am having an issue with airtable forms on android where i open the form in the airtable app. Half way through filling in the data, if i rotate the screen orientation, all entered data is reset to blank fields. The internet version of the same form link does not have this issue. A bug fix for you.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Let us create custom terms for records in tables in addition to selecting from the predefined list. How does is solve the user problems?The list provides a great starting point for record names, but too often terms aren't available. For instance, Phone Number isn't an available term, despite having a record field type of Phone Number, and neither is Number. This translates to the interfaces any time an 'Add Record' button appears to a linked record field, which may cause confusion if an intuitive term is not available. This is a relatively small ask (that I do not understand the technical requirements of at all, so please don't misunderstand me) that would go a long way to improve the user experience, especially to those users less tech-savvy than others.How was this validated?Every single time I've sea

It would be nice if when creating new fields – especially when the fields have fixed-length content – for Airtable to default the field width to the size of the content contained in such. For example, if you create a single select field, default the field width to either the width of the longest selection option or the field label itself (whichever is longer). This would save the need to constantly resize each new field.For bonus points, allow users to doubleclick the area between column headers to expand the field to fit the contained text whenever users

HiThis relates to embedding a form using the autosize height checkbox.If I select add attachment, the dialog will load in the top of the form which users do not see as it way above the viewport. So this autosize setting can’t be used where attachments are involved,I have had to use a set height scrolling form which is terrible for UX.Anyone have tips on customisation of embeds that work well on mobile with attachment dialogs.Thanks

It would be pretty cool if Airtable could dynamically & automatically expand the height of each record’s row height, based on how much information each record was displaying in its longest “long text field” or its longest “lookup field”. I got this idea from this post here: Vlookup Style Search in the Same Table

Being able to adjust row height and wrap text within the fields would be really useful for some applications where long text is required. Some applications lend themselves to scrolling through long lists of text and quickly identifying and editing records, which cannot be done efficiently in an “expanded” record view. The new gallery view is nice for photos and things but still really not appropriate for chronological long-text entries that need to be visually scanned by scrolling.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Allow individual rows to expand to fit long text (like "wrap text" in Google Sheets) or at least to fit MORE long text.How does is solve the user problems?Sometimes I want to skim my data (in my case customer emails), but I can't do so when I have to click into each individual record when long text fields get cut off (even when height is set to "Extra Tall"). Clicking into each record is a big time suck.Who is the target audience?Any Airtable user with long text fields, but specifically bases with customer emails.

It would be helpful to be able to wrap text within a Formula, Single Line Text or a Long Text field if the column width on view is too small. (Rather than truncate the text)
