What is the proposed idea/solution?While Copilot is great to kickoff a draft quickly, most of the times we would start builds from scratch.It would be great to have the AI generation option besides the "start from scratch" when creating a table. This would save sooo much time. It would be great to have quick and easy switching between accounts, as google has, for Airtable. Right now I work for more than one organization. I have brought Airtable into these organizations but it is cumbersome for me to switch between accounts. Thank you! Jon

When creating a form you are given the options to have a “Submit another response” button, show a new blank form after 5 seconds, or receive an email that the form has been completed. It would be extremely helpful to have an option for a completed copy of the form to be emailed to the person who has filled out the form. Like the option that googleforms and survey monkey provide, the person filing out the form can submit the form and then have a copy of their answers emailed to them for their records. This would be helpful in our organizations as people are filing out applications and answering essay questions. It is helpful for them to have evidence/copies of what they submitted.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Allow the same "record detail page" to be used across multiple interfaces How does is solve the user problems?Currently a designed "record detail page" is restricted to ONE interface. However, since we can incorporate multiple interfaces across one app (via the left nav bar navigation in interfaces), it is common to need to access the same record from a different interface. Currently you have to rebuild the the record detail page for every interface that it's data is used in. (We currently have 4 interfaces, so we have to duplicate 4 times). I’d like to communicate how fields should be filled out. Field descriptions are a natural vehicle for that message, but they don’t display for shared form views. EDIT: this feature already exists via help text

This functionality currently exists in the Form "view" but not for forms built in the Form builder.How does is solve the user problems?This allows users to keep a copy for their own records of forms they have submitted. What is the proposed idea/solution?I love what Airtable can do and we have been using this for prioritisation of work and making clearer views for leadership. We currently are using Jira for the delivery of projects as allows us to comment, add files and have continued conversation with tracked comments/deliverables and set sub tasks based off the ticket number. We would love if Airtable has similar where off one card we could have all the tasks associated and track comments based on the sub tasks How does is solve the user problems?Allows us to have both planning and delivery of projects in one place How was this validated?Allows for teams to run clear projects from start to end Who is the target audience?Project Managers and teams running projects

Currently, if you have multiple layouts of an open record panel that are used in a variety of places, when you go to delete a layout, it will only tell you where it's being used. That's all fine and well but then you have to go hunt down each individual place where that's being used which, depending on the size of your interface(s), can be nearly impossible which means you're removing the ability to click into records in those locations.There should be an option when deleting an open record panel layout to default all locations that are using **bleep** to change to another layout of your choice. This would tremendously help consolidating layouts. If Airtable really wanted to tackle this problem (which of course would be an Enterprise, possibly Business plan feature) would be a central place that manages all layouts for all datasets. But at the minimum, all Airtable users should have a 'default to another layout' option when deleting a layout.

In interface designer using a standard view, I can turn off field labels, but when I'm in grid or gallery views, and click to enter a specific record, I can't turn off those same labels. They are redundant and add clutter and I'd love to be able to turn them off. 

What is the proposed idea/solution?Currently, automations from bases don't activate if that base hasn't been used in a while, unless those bases have automations which are timed. This creates a problem if there are bases which have synced tables from other bases which haven't been used in a while, so the automations don't fire, even if the data syncs at regular intervals. This means that any data in those synced tables which might be modified by these automations aren't updated as they should be, as the automations aren't firing.It makes sense to me that the bases which have tables synced to other bases should automatically 'wake' when their synced tables are synced to ensure any data in those synced tables is synced.Currently, I use an automation on a timer to automatically wake the base, which is fine, but that also contributes to my automation limits, which is not ideal.How does is solve the user problems?This woul

What is the proposed idea/solution?Single and Multi-select linked fields in forms should have a toggle in rules to allow users to add a record.How does is solve the user problems?Cleanly and intuitively allowing form users to add new options which may become new trends. @ScottWorld  kindly provided some work-arounds, but the ideal one would be built-in and mirror the UI of adding a record in grid view.How was this validated?"Add records in a link to another record field in a form" 

When offering a filter in an interface based on an 'email' field including the 'Current User' this is case sensitive.  If a user capitalizes a letter in their email address when signing up this possibly won't match exactly and the filter doesn't work as intended.  The idea here is to make this filtering to be not case-sensitive.   

Hello, I'd like to suggest that you freeze the header row in the Interface list element! I prefer to use the list over the grid because it's more visually appealing, but when you're scrolling through a long list it would be helpful to still see the header row like you can with the grid element.

It would be great if it was possible to FORMAT TEXT (fonts, colors, bold, italics), CELLS (left, right, center alignment, background colors), and BORDERS (bold or dashed lines, colors) within tables. The ability to add extra header lines and/or to FREEZE more cells vertically and horizontally would help, too. I really like the idea of Airtable, but can’t effectively use it over Excel until it has more functionality.

Being able to hide/show fields in the form view based on the values of fields higher up in the form could be extremely valuable. For instance, if using Airtable to keep track of leads, one might have a Single Select field with the following options: Relationship No Relationship Met at a conference Contacted through website If “Met at a conference” is selected, it would be valuable to collect information about that conference in a conference field, but it wouldn’t make sense to capture that info for any of the other options in the relationship field.

Would save me a lot of time if I could generate templates dynamically.See, I have a billing profile table and an child invoice table and would like to pull the values for the invoice table from the billing profile table.Now, I had set it up with lookup fields but the problem came up that when the billing profile is changed then all the historical invoices are too . . .So now I have it set up with an automation, but then you're limited to one trigger and big automations like that seem to break often.So a template where I could use data from fields within a parent record would be amazing. I would just create a invoice from the billing profile and the fields would get filled in from the data in the billing profile.

To whom it may concern,An enhancement suggestion from Kalypso: Update the Date Dependencies configuration such that it assumes that when Start and Due Dates have been established and a Predecessor is changed, the Start and Due dates are updated instead of assuming those dates should stay the same and adjusting the Buffer.Alternatively, this could be a toggled option if current behavior is desired for some organizations. Expected Benefits: Enable the ability to set the Date Dependency behavior to align to an organizations use case. For those that would desire assuming dates should be updated, it will make it more efficient to updated without having to navigate between two separate views to make the update. Please consider adding this capability. Regards,Jason Knighten

To whom it may concern,An enhancement suggestion from Kalypso: While it is currently possible to link multiple Predecessors, the date calculations do not consider the impacts of any Predecessors beyond the first one. This can get complex but here is a pass at recommending how the solution should be designed:Finish to Start dependent task should base it's start date on the maximum finish date of all dependent tasksExample: Task 3 is dependent on Task 1 and Task 2. Task 1 ends on 10/24 and Task 2 ends on 10/31. Since Task 3 is Finish to Start and dependent on both tasks being completed, it should use the Task 2 10/31 finish date to define the Task 3 start date as 11/01.Start to Start dependent task should bas

To whom it may concern,An enhancement suggestion from Kalypso: When using the Date Dependencies settings, Start dates (And due dates if a Duration is already set), should auto populate when a Predecessor is selected. Currently, dates are not initially set by selecting the Predecessor and invalid dependency error is displayed which is not fixed by opening and selecting Fix allHowever, the dates are updated if, after setting the Predecessor, the date of the Predecessor is modified or the Due or Start dates as manually setScreen shot after having entered a Duration and selecting Predecessor. Selecting View All for the 1 Invalid Dependency error and selecting Fix All has no effect. Hi, hello, and good morning, I’d like to request a feature to LIMIT the file size of images uploaded. It would be even nicer if you could specify to have certain image DPI requirements. If the requirements were not met, they’d be greeted with an error and explanation. While I can perfectly well manage my file sizes, if you have a submittable form based on your grid, some people don’t heed upload guidelines, so it would be nice if this was a feature. This would be great for people who manage social media profiles and want web-ready images. I’m sure people who submit PDFs would think it great, too. No one needs 56mb PDF resumes.
