I have a rollup field on our Customer Tracker that concatenates the project stage for each of the projects associated with a single customer. I want to filter on projects that are post-implementation to flag CSM’s to update Customer health information. Currently, I can only filter on one entry, and when I had others into the filter, it filters out everything.Thanks

Hi there,When we create a date field, we’re allowed to choose from 5 different date formats.It would be amazing if we also had the additional option to add the DAY NAME in front of the date.So, in other words, our date field could be formatted to look like this:Wed 5/22/19I know that we can create another field called “Day Name” and create a formula to calculate the day name, but it would be much more convenient (and more user-friendly) if the day name was simply just another type of date formatting that could be directly applied to the date field itself.(We’re coming to Airtable from the FileMaker world, and this is how FileMaker handles date fields — FileMaker can apply any type of formatting directly onto a date field, without requiring any additional fields nor additional formulas.)Thanks,Scott

It’s difficult to mentally digest all your images if they don’t fit nicely into the “cropped” version of the gallery. And if I select “fit”, because my images are tall, they are shrunk down so much that it’s really not useful. I wish there was another option like how pinterest uses a masonry layout, so that the images could be at a useful size! For my project, airtable is really not usable without this feature. :cry:

Follow the Slack model and only bill for users who are active. I had to downgrade my account because our number of users increased (and therefore our monthly bill increased), but most of them either only need access for a little while or they’re infrequent users. I’d upgrade my account and be a happier customer if you only charged for active users.

Being able to easily add different time periods for a record.I have a table to manage my tasks, and I need to work on some tasks in more than one occasion. There is no elegant solution for this. I think it is also necessary to be able to add these periods from a calendar view.

It would be great if we could have more control over collaborator permissions. For example, the big one for us is that we would like collaborators to EDIT records, but NOT DELETE any records.

Using the Org chart block to represent site architecture is awesome!The Matrix block allows drag-and-drop to reorganise records. If the same drag and drop functionality existed in Org chart blocks, it would be easy to reorganise heirarchically related records, such as site architecture, and user flows.Right now, either switching back to a table view or expanding a record from the org chart loses context. Using drag and drop would maintain context when assigning a new parent (or child) This would make it easy to restructure hierarchically related records.

A field type having a start and end dates.I believe a common use case with dates is creating different fields for start and end. It will be more elegant and time efficient to have an option to create one field instead.

I’d like to request a product enhancement to allow formula fields to take a value, and assign a plain text input on a formula field. Currently, you can go from text to number, but not the other way around.Use Case: We currently calculate date a project is overdue. We’d like to take that number and auto-update a formula field called Timeline Health.If date overdue is < 0, enter HealthyIf date is 1-10, enter At RiskIf date is > 10, enter High Risk

Multiplying by a percent column acts as if the percent were in fact an integer. So 100 * 50% yields 5000 in a formula column rather than the correct result of 50.

The Last Modified feature is the best thing that has happened to airtable in the past year, no doubt about it. It does work well, but I believe it needs a few more things to get the most out of it.For example, I would like to introduce a “Lock” feature. The way this would work is that the last modified date value would get locked when a certain value has been added to a field. Example:The status column has “To Do”, “Doing”, "Done values. We set the Last modified formula to lock whenever the status has the value “Doing”. So when the status has changed from “To Do” to “Doing” the last modified date will be added to the formula field. Now, whenever we change the status from “Doing” to “Done” the last modified date will stay the same or will get locked. So whatever value is then changed to the status field, the last modified date will stay the same.Basically, this is a needed feature for any formula type of field. For some reason I cannot select the option “Unique” on the bottom summary menu when the column type is “Link to another record”. THere is only Empty, Filled, Percent Empty and Percent Filled.This should not be hard to add as the option is already there for other columns. It is very important to be present for these type of columns as well.

When duplicating a table it would be really useful to be able to rename the new table before it’s created; otherwise I have to go through all other tables and manually rename any field which references the new table.

Having the Dollar $ sign persistantly on the field name is quite confusing when using a different currency in the data below. It would be great to have the field icon match to the symbol the currency chosen or change the currency logo to something more universal like cash and coins.

We’d like the ability to hide a given field across the board, in all user views. Such fields are usually elements of complicated multi-field formulas, and require no UI once configured. Such fields should only be accessible in a “Master Data” view. The “Master Data” view would be accessible to Creators only, and would not allow for any hidden fields or filtering.

Hello everyone,I believe the timeline should be able to visualise task dependencies. Other project management platforms such as Asana is able to do so by linking interdependent timeline blocks with a line.Would this be possible by linking a field in an entry to another to show dependencies? This makes managing and understanding complex timelines more doable.Any comments appreciated!

The Page Designer block has the ability for commenters to switch which view is populating the data displayed in the block.I would like to see the same feature for the map block. An administrator can choose the view that populates a map, but commenters can’t get the data from personal view to display on a map.

Hi there, Loving Airtable guys, really great work! Got a request / question: I want to share a grid view with a sales team who will primarily be viewing the base on their mobile devices. The base is large (around 2000 records) so a search function is essential, however whilst search is available on the desktop shared view it isn’t available on the mobile shared view. Is there any plans to introduce this? Or even better, a workaround? Thanks Ross

I know we now have shareable blocks which is great. What i’d like to do is be able to share/embed a dashboard containing many blocks. The idea is to use something like https://screen.cloud and embed the dashboard as “one page” of the digital signage to be displayed on a large TV in the office.It seems that Airtable creates a specific “shareable” link when a block is shared. Normal Airtable links will not embed in the same way.I’m hopeful we can add this feature and curious how others have found solutions to share the information in their Airtable dashboards on TV signage?

I would like to be able to set up a field that tells me what projects are on time for completion for that day. Ideally it would function like this: IF(IS_BETWEEN(TODAY(), {Start Date}, {End Date}), ‘On Time’, ‘Late’) The logical sentence would read: "If Today is in between Start Date and End Date, then “On Time”, if not, then “Late”. There are tons of other things I could use it for as well. But as of right now, the formula is extremely long for what I’m doing it for. Please add this function! It would simplify my formulas so much!

I’d like to receive in app or even desktop alerts at the time of my choosing. i.e. at the time of event, 1 day before, 2 hours before, etc. Missing dates will happen unless you remember to go into each calendar view on a daily basis.

Hi there,You pivot tables are not all that helpful since you can only summarize one column. I’m creating a daily habit tracker (so each column is a habit with a checkbox and the rows are the dates) and I love that it can show me the percentage checked at the bottom summary but I would like to create a pivot table to show what percentages are checked for each column each month and right now that isn’t possible. Or if you could make formulas reference across tabs instead of only being able to use columns in that tab for the formula that could accomplish it too… (and if “percent checked” was part of the formula). I found a very complicated workaround for a similar table (a “life score tracker” where I rate my day by things like productivity, mood, and health) where the column is just “type” and you select which thing you’re rating - but I was only able to make that one tolerable because I could have Zapier autopopulate a bunch of empty rows of the different categories each day and I’d pre
