Hello, I’ve got a table set up which is to hold flight data. So I have airport from, to and date/time fields. I would like to have the timezone listed in the time field as it is always local to the origin or destination. Is this possible? When I select show timezone it appears at GMT automatcially but I can’t then change it. Thanks

I am having a hard time understanding the many to many table linking situation and how it can help me. I have 2 tables with the same data columns. I want to combine both on a master table. My issue is when one column is linked to one table then how in the world will you on the next row down get the information from another Table I need? Example: three fields: Number 1 Number 2 Total I want to enter a decimal number is Number 1 or Number 2 (but not both) and have the result displayed in Total. So far I have managed to get some respone from OR({Number 1},{Number 2}) In Number 1 I have entered 45.00. In Total, however, the display is 1.00 whereas it shoukd be 45.00 tia

Hello, I need to create a very simple interface plugged on a single table where I want to apply hierachical filters such as Main Category / Sub Category / Detailed Category and display the line resulting from the applied filter. I cannot use Airtable interface to do so because I do not want users to have to sign in before using the interface. I tried with SoftR, but I could not find a way to implement hierarchical filters. Does anyone know about a no code tool that I could use to do this? Thank you Pascal

I have three tables, States, Cities, Streets. A street is linked to only one city, and a city is linked to only one state. Of course, a state has multiple cities, and a city has multiple streets. How do I get a view/interface to show every unique combination from the three tables, one per row? For example: Texas - Houston - Main Street Texas - Houston - State Street Texas - Dallas - 1st Ave

I have a table organized by educator name. I’m trying to create a column that pulls the FIRST occurrence of coaching from a separate base, so we can see on what day each teacher had their first meeting with their instructional coach. The dates vary widely, so I’m not sure how to write this formula. Each coaching session has a unique ID: “[Coach Name] [Teacher Name] [Type of Meeting] [Date]”. I’m hoping that it’s possible to write a formula that can find all of the unique IDs for a particular teacher, and then show me just the oldest one (which would be the first in the school year). I’m a pretty new user of Airtable, so thanks for your patience with what may be a basic question :slightly_smiling_face:

I have a database of road bottlenecks for bikers in the region. Users of the shared database can only see the bottlenecks, they can’t make changes. The database has views of bottlenecks in and around a specific town or village. Is it possible to also add a form-view where unknown users can send a form with data to be included in the database. The data will only be included after my agreement. In my attempts until now I only can see the design of the form, not the form itself

Hi guys I’m having a bit of a complex challenge with airtable. So I’m making a backend for an app on airtable, the app uses a complex nested tagging structure. I was able to put all the tags on airtable via Parent and Child Tables, then I linked each parent and child according to their relationship, using lookup fields to present all fields on the parent table. Now I’m trying to figure out how to record a Tag on a table, so that on a form a user can type in or select a tag on any nesting level and the record will be tagged with all the parent tags before it, and then in future be able to filter for that record with any of the parent tags. Hopefully, that makes sense and is feasible. Thanks in advance, I tried searching the forums but really didn’t understand many of the explanations being given.

Hello All, I am using a iPhone mini 12 on the latest iOS 16.1.1 When using {Date Field} on a mobile device and clicking in that field the date picker shows up in Rolodex form. Weekday,Month,Date,Time. However when rolling forward passed the new year or backward into past years there is NO Year displayed in the window! This makes it very challenging to “Pick” a date from years past or future. I know I can manually type it in when going way back but perhaps a “Rolodex” format for the Year as well in the top of the “Pop Up” picker would be nice?! Hello, I have searched the “ask the community” and the FAQ and am not finding the answers. I am able to set up the trigger for automations, but I would like to be able to do two things in the action of sending an email. 1.) I would like the email to go to the person listed in the “owner” field. (example: AirtableOwnerEmailscreenshot1) I have tried to put an email address in the “owner” field, but so far no luck. 2.) I would like the message body to include the “month” field. (example: AirtableOwnerEmailscreenshot2) Any input is greatly appreciated. thank you - Kitty

I took over a team a number of months ago that has responsibility for Airtable. The previous owner left the company and is unreachable. We are at our limits on usage and need to upgrade. Additionally, we have users we need to remove from the account. I am currently an Editor on our workspace. We have some Creator roles as well. But, the owner is no longer accessible. I went to the in-app Help and asked my question there. None of the situations seemed to apply (or I misread them). I am a novice at the product. If anyone has been through something similar and has specific suggestions I would really appreciate the help. As additional info, I did open a support ticket. If that is my only option then that is done. I am just hoping there is something I can do before support reaches out.

Hello, I’m going to try to simplify my issue as much as possible. Hopefully it will be clear enough. I have 2 bases : Operations & Purchases. In Opérations I have a table with all my Orders. In Purchases I have a table with all my Suppliers. The Suppliers table is sync to the Operation base, and then my Orders’s records are link to the Suppliers still in my Operation base. When I create a new Order I add the related Suppliers. So on my Suppliers table in the Operation base I have for each supplier the listing of all the related orders as linked records. Now I would like to have this same listing back in the Suppliers table, but in the Purchases base. And not as text field, but as linked records as well. Is it possible ? Thank you in advance

Can I create grids based off a parent grid, that only show certain rows based on information in a field? I.e. if I have a parent grid with a dropdown box in one cell with YES or NO options, can I make a new grid that only populates rows with that one cell marked as YES?

I have an address field in my table that I would like to have go live while using my mobile device to help me quickly find an address. Some Examples: My Phone Number field allows me to text or call directly from that field. My Link field allows me to invoke my browser or FB or IG app directly from that field. My Email field allows me in invoke my default mail program and compose. I would like my “address” field to invoke my apple maps app on my phone and show me the location! I understand my address field is simply a long text field used in this special way, but how about AT programming an address field to work in this fashion!? Too much? Any ideas? Anyone else having an issue with their shared calendar views? I’ve had a subscription to a calendar view in Fantastical for years that has worked fine, but it stopped functioning about two days ago. Tried deleting and re-adding it to Fantastical, but it says the calendar data isn’t value. Tried in MacOS Calendar too, and same error.

Hi, I want to create a field that will change based on the results of a single select field. For example, my single select options are [1, 2, 3, 4]. In another field I want to report options [A, B, C, D]. I want to choose A if the next column is 1, B if the single select option is 2, C if the single select option is 3, etc. Thanks!

Hi, I’m using AirTable with my clients. I created a base for each clients. One view in this base is a kind of “workspace”, shared with my client. I wanna share with him this view, allowing him to edit things, upload and download files, write questions if he needs help. How can I do this ? I tried to share the view but there’s no “editing” option : it is possible ? OR do I need to create a specific base as a workspace to share it with Editor functions ? Hello, I’m a brand new Airtable user, using it for our grantee database for our nonprofit. I was hoping to use an embedded view to list the grantees on our website- and save the monthly fee I’m paying for another no-code app to do currently (pulling from a Google Sheet), AND eliminate the need to maintain the list in 2 different places. Hello everyone, I’m trying to visualise data that I have within my base in a bar chart. It’s to simply compare my sales forecast vs sales target on a monthly basis. So I’d like a simple bar chart that has for example; a bar for November Revenue next to a bar depicting the November Target. I’d then like to have this for every month of the year within the same graph. I have columns for both [Month] Revenue and [Month] Target but I can’t figure out how to show the two side by side using the Chart extension. Any help would be much appreciated! Many thanks

Hey, Automatically, orders from my website are entered into a table. I have to assign one worker each time to the order’s row in a certain order (round robin).
