The Page Designer block has the ability for commenters to switch which view is populating the data displayed in the block. I would like to see the same feature for the map block. An administrator can choose the view that populates a map, but commenters can’t get the data from personal view to display on a map.

I know we now have shareable blocks which is great. What i’d like to do is be able to share/embed a dashboard containing many blocks. The idea is to use something like https://screen.cloud and embed the dashboard as “one page” of the digital signage to be displayed on a large TV in the office. It seems that Airtable creates a specific “shareable” link when a block is shared. Normal Airtable links will not embed in the same way. I’m hopeful we can add this feature and curious how others have found solutions to share the information in their Airtable dashboards on TV signage?

Hi, can you please add the ability to control the search patterns inside the search block? For example, add the ability to perform exact match search when searching across tables. Right now, search results bring back too many records to sift through. In general, would be good to have more control over the search pattern. Maybe you can add RegEx capabilities to the Search Block. Thanks for your consideration.

This would be HUGELY helpful. An example scenario is this. You have a list of clients in a table, complete with email addresses. When you select a particular client, that email address is fed into the Embed block URL which happens to be a Gmail search for that particular address, effectively showing you message history for that client. Allowing for dynamic URLs to be used for the Embed block in this way would be fantastic & could have so many other uses!

I want to have my attachment open in a block, so I can refer to the attachment AND update data in my record at the same time. Right now it seems all I can do is load attachment in a popup window, which is good, but when attachment is visible, my base is obscured and I can’t access or edit it - my usecase is to inpout data from the attachment into my base. Very frustrating to have to load attachment into an external viewer when those blocks are right there! Am I missing something?

Loving the embed block! But I would love it more if I could customise the URL to be loaded based on a field in my table… My usecase - I’m building custom URLs from data collected in forms. The URLs include complex payload data. Want to be able to load those custom URLs dynamically into the embed block so my users can see the record and the embedded web page simultaneously. Seems that embed only supports static URLs for now? Any plans to allow dynamic population of the embed URL from a field in a base?

Hi, I have been working on creating a Marketing Calendar with Month, and a generic type as the columns and rows respectively using the ‘Matrix Block’ for my current project. However, I would also like to be able to print the block, but currently there is no option to print. I’ve worked around this by printing the webpage as a PDF and resizing to fit within a page, but a more natural way of doing this would be helpful. Thank you.

The Google Drive integration is really great, but it lacks a search, which can make it very difficult to find the actual file. I end up just pasting a link in the notes field as it currently works, since it’s not easy for me to take a file I have open and connect it to a record. If I could search my documents to find what I’m looking for, that’d be great. Or, if you could just attach a google drive link and have it work, that’d be great too.

We “print” a lot of documents at work today without using a single sheet of paper. Everything is digitally produced and therefore sent to emails or shared online. My point is why we don’t have an option to send by email the generated documents on the “Page Designer” block? I have a print option and that’s it. Oh yes I can print it to a pdf and then send it by email but have your heard of automation? I wish that I could choose a field with an email address for each record and press “send” the current view to the interested parties. Like SendGrid block but with generated pdf documents.

Hi there, really loving Airtable but seems like the Chart Block is a little under powered… Minimally it seems like integrating basic statistical plots like histograms, box plots, and violin plots, could be really helpful for creating useful dashboards. Additionally some useful things like radar plots and maybe even contour plots would be great to see added. I know this isn’t a dataviz platform by design, but then again it kind of is so making charting/plotting a bit more of a first class citizen would be cool to see.
