My team and I would love to work asynchronously on one airtable but when we leave each other comments on records the number stays there forever so we have no way of keeping track of what still needs to be discussed (you can erase your comments but not others and that way you erased the convo!). I’d like a way to get rid of the number shown on the record please.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Have something similar as Monday's "My Work" tab where I can see all tasks assigned to me across all bases. How does is solve the user problems? This would allow me to: easily see my workflow and workload access all tasks assigned to me in different bases in one single location stay on top of my priorities and tasks without having to jump from base to base How was this validated? I am not sure what this means, but there are a number of unanswered records in the community with the question on how to see all of my tasks from different bases in one place. The closest to a solution that is available is a table with multiple sync's from the other bases - but this is manual and requires someone to add the table/view sync everytime a new base/table is created. Who is the target audience? possibly everyone using airtable for: customer management project management workflow Systems with approval processes

Our company currently uses the Pro version of Airtable and it would be SO helpful if we could have at least just ONE Other workspace for archival purposes. It’s a bummer the options go from a single workspace in the first three plan options and then goes to unlimited for the Enterprise. This jump is unfair to the growing companies where the enterprise plan doesn’t make sense… Just one additional workspace would allow us to have an “Archive” workspace and separate new projects with past/finished projects that we still need to keep data for and reference. Thank you for your consideration.

I have certain views with sensitive information and would like to have AirTable require me to log in again after a certain amount of time to view these (similar to the way that a bank automatically logs you out after 10 minutes with no activity.)
I would not even mind if the entire app logged me out after 10 minutes with no activity. I realize this might be inconvenient for some users, so perhaps it could be a setting.

What is the proposed idea/solution? ... A new feature that transposes the Rows and Columns of a View. How does is solve the user problems? ... It is useful to transpose the Rows and Columns of a Table for for viewing and / or calculations. In Airtable it is more efficient to create Records for time rather than Fields (e.g. each Row is a unit of Time like a Week, Month, Quarter, Year, etc. and not the column). The ability to see each unit of Time as a column moving from left to right is standard practice. How was this validated? ...This is a core feature to all spreadsheet applications. Who is the target audience? ...All Users

I need a way to archive the bases. We collect Survey data among other metrics via air table, for a growing company. I know that we could move them to another workspace, but I don't believe that would work since they are currently on the pro plan and would have to be moved over to a workspace on the free plan. We still want to keep the data as is and accessible. If we can't archive is there a way to create folders to separate bases? I would love that, not only to have an archive folder but to better organize my currently used bases as well.

Being able to organize “links” to bases in Google Drive is helpful, but not very useful in an enterprise or team setting unless Team Drives are supported. Right now, if I try to drag an Airtable base from the default “Airtable” folder in My Drive to a Team Drive, the error message “This type of file cannot be moved to a Team Drive yet” pops up. I know that Lucidcharts recently implemented Team Drive support for linked files, so it is possible. Thanks!

Long-time fan…yet… this one thing has always perplexed me… Why can someone that ONLY has ‘view access’ to a base… can then go duplicate that entire base with all the records and then become the owner of it… all while having no audit trail of who did it. I don’t know about you but I put lots of time building my Airtables… building out custom workflows, app dashboards, syncing tables from other bases, in-depth field descriptions, specific views and putting accurate information in there to collaborate, communicate and grow with others. It is IP that an organization builds, putting countless hours into perfecting… yet anyone with ‘view’, ‘commenting’, ‘editing’ or ‘creator’ access can take that IP with no accountability. Basically, I would like to significantly reduce who has access to 'duplicate a base’ Only the 'Owner" access should be able to duplicate the base: not the creator, editor, comment or view access. Additionally add an audit trail to who duplicated the base. Maybe even giving specific users ‘this person can duplicate or not’ but I think the owner simplification would be more than sufficient. Without this option, it is such a security shortcoming that it limits the number of users I have using Airtable. And I want to tell everyone in the world about Airtable… Airtable has given me a way to organize my thoughts / systems that I didn’t know was possible. I love the origin and root behind open source programs but please let me have the option to make it open source or not. That is like someone having access to your CRM and with one button, can duplicate all customer records and how they all interact with each other. User Story As an account admin I would like control of who can duplicate our base and it’s contents. if someone can duplicate, I want a record of who did it and when. Resources I am aware of Duplicating Bases - No mention on how to avoid this Yes I know you can send over ‘views’ to people to mitigate this issue… you can send over forms so they can add records to it… grids / galleries with only the information they need to know. I desperately hope I am wrong and this indeed is actually a possible feature that I have missed. With appreciation and admiration for Airtable & it’s community, Paul

What is the proposed idea/solution? An extra Action for the Button Field inside a table (not in the interface), where we can select "Run an Automation" How does is solve the user problems? At the moment there is no direct way to run a simple automation from a button field. it only works on buttons in interfaces. How was this validated? The press of the button should also "pass" the record ID to the automation, so any automation ran can use the record ID to specifically work on a record. Who is the target audience? This is useful for everybody who wants to use the button field in day to day simple operations.

What is the proposed idea/solution? We would love it if we could automatically set all Bases in a workspace to a single, non-UTC default time zone. It may also be helpful for other users to be able to set individual Bases, or all fields in an individual Table. How does this solve the user problems? For users with many bases, that each have many tables, which each have many fields, it is tedious to fix time zone errors manually. Being able to set a global time zone option would dramatically speed up workflow for anyone who uses Calendar Views that port data in from several different Bases. Who is the target audience? Workspace management end users.
