In the comments in any airtable record it would be good to have attachment option so users can post pics, videos, files, leave an audio message, video message, etc.

I've been organizing my lessons on airtable. Multiple picture attachments and comments for explanation. I just realized that there's no way to search for a particular comment. I'm lost here after a couple of months into the project. Idea: Search should include comments Critical to collaboration & finding the right attachment.

What is the proposed idea/solution? When designing interfaces, if I create a button to create new records, the form does not allow for new options in single-select fields. I know there are workarounds, but a better idea is just to give designers the option via a toggle when in the "Edit pages" designer for forms. This toggle already exists in Interface Designer, (screenshot attached). Please include it for when designing forms within Interfaces. How does is solve the user problems? Makes users' lives easier. Enhances Airtable's capabilities. Currently they have to do workaround that involve multiple steps, and I'd rather not make a process take 3 steps when 1 would do. How was this validated? ? Who is the target audience? Everyone using the Interface forms.

What is the proposed idea/solution? We currently have an interface in Airtable for our inventory management base using the Record Review type interface. It would be really nice to have an indicator of the number of pending records next to the page name. We have multiple pages in the interface of the Record Review type, some include: Orders Out, Shipment In, Returns from Customers, Returns to Suppliers. How does is solve the user problems? The main advantage this would have is to provide an overview of how many orders, product receivals or returns are pending, so that the users don't have to go through each interface page to check if records are pending processing. It's a small feature request but would be very helpful to anybody involved in managing inventory and orders.

In my team's usage of Airtable, we have a lot of different fields going through a lot of changes over time. On multiple occasions I've had to dig through a record's revision history, clicking Show more multiple times to get far enough to find the history that I need. In order to find a single field's history, I have to expand each of the history segments, then use ctrl+F to search the name of the field, and then click through each result to see the history I'm looking for. I would love a filter mechanism in the Revision history where users could select a specific field from their table, and the Revision history would be limited to showing only the changes made to that field.

Webhooks for records would be really useful.
I’m heavily caching Airtable data on my own server via the API, and if Airtable could notify my server when a record is updated, created, or destroyed, that would help me invalidate the cached data and re-request it.
Ultimately that would mean less calls from my server to the Airtable API, which I imagine would please Airtable.
Are webhooks on the roadmap at all?

What is the proposed idea/solution? The "Editable" and "View only" button on Interface is very handy when limiting actions on an Interface; however, it would be much more convenient and better security/workflow-wise to limit specific fields/columns (especially on List and Grid) as "View only" or "Editable" directly rather than having all fields editable because it can be accidentally edited. How does this solve the user problems? Lesser human error when accidentally editing stuff on incorrect fields. Who is the target audience? Interface users.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Reading through the available rollup field formulas, I'm surprised there's no Mode() or Median() available for use. https://support.airtable.com/docs/rollup-field-reference How does is solve the user problems? Mode and Median are a staple in 6th grade mathematics, and I can't even begin to summarise how they solve countless user problems that they're used for. The target audience is anyone working with a rollup field wanting to quickly extract mode and medium data from their linked record array. In my current example, I have a Rollup containing several dates, and I need the most common date - IE, the mode(values) needs to return the date that occurs most often within the array. mode(["2023-01-09" , "2023-01-09", "2023-01-08" , "2023-01-09"]) returns "2023-01-09", similarly how max() returns 2023-01-09 and min() returns 2023-01-08. So importantly, Mode() needs to work not only on numbers and integers, but also dates as well - or possibly even strings. For example, a Rollup mode(values) of ["Dog", "Dog", "Dog", "Cat", "Dog", "Cat", "Cat", "Dog", "Mouse"] returns "Dog".

I love that record details pages now allow for conditional field/section visibility, however one big thing that seems to be missing is the ability to hide/show and enable/disable buttons based on other field values. This would really help us create more user friendly interfaces. Thanks!

What is the proposed idea/solution? An extra Action for the Button Field inside a table (not in the interface), where we can select "Run an Automation" How does is solve the user problems? At the moment there is no direct way to run a simple automation from a button field. it only works on buttons in interfaces. How was this validated? The press of the button should also "pass" the record ID to the automation, so any automation ran can use the record ID to specifically work on a record. Who is the target audience? This is useful for everybody who wants to use the button field in day to day simple operations.
