Would save me a lot of time if I could generate templates dynamically. See, I have a billing profile table and an child invoice table and would like to pull the values for the invoice table from the billing profile table. Now, I had set it up with lookup fields but the problem came up that when the billing profile is changed then all the historical invoices are too . . . So now I have it set up with an automation, but then you're limited to one trigger and big automations like that seem to break often. So a template where I could use data from fields within a parent record would be amazing. I would just create a invoice from the billing profile and the fields would get filled in from the data in the billing profile.

This would show the last known table schema and data that was shown, but would allow to make records and sync when the mobile device comes back online. Issues would be resolved via the web to validate issues.

The organization of bases within a Pro workspace is insufficient. Naming and/or color coding is not enough. As the number of bases increases, you need to archive old data or may wish to logically organize bases into groups (or collections), for the growing volume of bases. Can we please have a better user experience to group bases. Airtable has an existing analogy for this with “sections” that group views. At an account level, we needs similar functionality to group bases. My recommendation is that these be called "collections". This capability would enable workspace administrators to better see and organize their collection of bases.

So let me get this straight… everyone who uses Kanban view and actually sorts their records ends up seeing this same screen as the introduction to their view because AirTable won’t let people hide Uncategorized from view? Whose idea was that?

To whom it may concern, An enhancement suggestion from Kalypso: Update Autonumber to add a feature to allow it to forget deleted files. Expected Benefits: It would prevent the necessity to change Autonumber to Number, then back again to Autonumber to reset the number sequence. Please consider adding this capability. I want to set some fields mandatory so our team members do not forget to input.
For example, customer’s name should be mandatory for a project management but some members forget to input it. The image is that if a mandatory field is blank, users are requested to input the field otherwise the new record is not created.

Hello Community, I’ve had a bit of an idea. At our company, we have tables that can have up to 30-40 columns in them, especially on the “summary” or “master” tables, where data is assembled from other tables. This can get very confusing. What If we could group similar columns together in a similar way we group rows? Color-coded, collapsible, and individually shareable. It could be quite powerful. Thoughts?

What is the proposed idea/solution? Set user seat type via one of the following methods: - SAML attribute - SCIM attribute - mapping to a SCIM group How does is solve the user problems? Currently Seat type needs to be adjusted manually in Airtable Admin Panel. It is not possible to set Seat type via SSO (SAML) nor SCIM. This is documented in this article: https://support.airtable.com/docs/configuring-sso-in-the-admin-panel. It would help us to manage our licenses more efficiently. Who is the target audience? Any company using SCIM to manage users.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Currently, there's no way for an element (i.e. a Kanban element) to be connected to multiple filter elements. This would be useful for example if a user needs to create an interface with multiple sections. The interface having a main general filter affecting all the elements in each section, and each section containing secondary particular filter elements. The connection here would be "AND" between the filter elements. How does is solve the user problems? This would allow making the interface much simpler, instead of repeating the same filter elements over and over again across all the filter elements of the page, a general filter would be set at the beginning of the interface and the following optional/secondary filters would be left for each section across the interface. Currently the interfaces with this approach are super repetitive and a user needs to apply a single filter multiple times. How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? ...
