Proposed idea We originally used the Form view to create forms that would _prefill fields and auto-redirect to the record that was created. Proposed idea/solution Right now the interface button setting "Go to interface page" is restricted to pages within the same interface group of pages. Propose to extend the setting to other pages within any interface on the same base. Solution Currently one has to use either the "Go to external URL" or "Go to URL in record" to make possible the linking of pages on different interfaces on the same base. I have a product suggestion based on a problem where I have a table with lots of start date and end date columns for different steps of a project (fully described in this initial post: Visualising Multiple Dates in Timeline View). Currently with timeline and gantt it’s impossible to select these multiple dates (which you can do with calendar views) and so you have to create a hack to automatically update a new table that has 1 row per stage of the project. The hack ‘works’ but is really awkward both in terms of having to update the hack when adding new columns and also just a bad experience for users who need to jump in and out of different tables just to get to a timeline view. I don’t really see why the timeline view couldn’t take multiple dates like the calendar view does, and if it’s possible in my opinion it would make running complex projects in Airtable much more practical. ... We use Airtable as a CRM and event management. These uses have been accomplished using separate bases but there’s been a growing desire for this process to be streamlined with an emphasis on leveraging the data already in the CRM. Ultimately, what I’m suggesting is Lookup Fields displayed on a Form View once a Link to Another Record Field is populated. Here’s a use case: CRM has a Table containing contacts with contact information (phone number, email address, etc.) and a Table for an event’s participants. The participant table has a Form View. The first field/question on the form is a Link to Another Record Field where the registrant selects their name. The next field/question would be a Lookup field displaying the phone number found on the linked record. The next field/question would ask if the phone number was still correct. The next field/question could be a question conditionally visible if the phone number was incorrect. We’d then repeat the process for the other data displayed by the Lookup fields. ... View more

This will enable users to purchase your highest-price (and presumably most profitable) product. How was this validated? Currently the only options for date range of a Gantt chart is week, 2 weeks, month, quarter, year, 5 years. I think it would be better to have a custom option where you can put the duration you want (with an option to choose, weeks, months or years) and give it a start date. The gantt charts I've been making have been for a period of 1.5 years so 1 year doesn't fit it all and then 5 years makes everything super small. It's too large of a gap.   ... View more

What is the proposed idea/solution? Within a Calendar Week View - Similarly to how we can collapse a weekend to only show weekdays, I'd like the ability to collapse hours outside of designated working hours. This requirements differs for each user, some who work 24/hr shifts need access to all hours, but those of us who don't most likely just need to see a configurable 1/3 of the day. PLEASE add the ability to use PDF export from page designer in automation! Or at least add the PDF as an attachment field in the record. The only way to get use out of the page designer is to manually download each record, would to use for creating static documentation of what a record looks like at a given time or send to client for review, etc. ...
