Love AIrtable… However… A partly helpful solution to column width difficulties (cell data being cut off if too wide for column width) could be to allow font size to be changed - Universally across the entire grid view. Could we also have left, middle and right justification of cell text please. What is the proposed idea/solution? Many times your summary bar won't give the "bottom line" of a field that the user is actually after. It only allows the very basics like "Sum", and "Average" but misses a universe of options the user needs. For instance, it can not even give a weighted average by taking into account the values of another field. Adding the option (see below) to customize a view's field summary metric (with a basic formula), will turn your database much more useful. Without being able to give things like a weighted average or calculate anything involving another field makes the ability of your database to give insights quite poor. Right now, it looks the Gantt view only supports Finish-to-Start However, I'd like to be able to track Finish-to-Finish The "workaround" to do this would be to further split by deliverable's final step that is actually dependent on the dependency. Hey Airtable team, have you come across Google Data Studio? It’s a free tool that is excellent for visualising data and creating BI dashboards - a perfect companion to Airtable. Google Data Studio has ‘community connectors’ that allow users to pipe in data from third party services such as yourselves. I’m trying my hand at building a private connector for one of my bases at the moment, and it’s not too tricky. Feature request It would be great if the expanded record view could be customised separately from the grid view. From a UX perspective, it doesn’t make sense to set the field view of the expanded single record to the field view of the entire table of records. The use case for the grid view is distinct from the expanded record view e.g. I want to see more columns of data in the grid view which may guide me to the record. Since the expanded record is effectively a form view, the layout and default fields should be further custom. I guess this is similar to what Stacker.app are doing but it would be good to have it native in Airtable. ... View more
