Just a suggestion to add a horizontal line that represents the current time when displaying any of the week, day views. Apple calendar has it and it’s just great! It helps me to keep track what to do next and not worry about the time

I’d love to see a way to set up a record template for the text fields (Long Text and Single Line). Some use cases I can think of off the top of my head:
*Templates for recurring social media captions, sales responses, sales/cold-sales emails, or any inputs that need to look a certain way or go in a certain order. Long text that varies in detail but not in structure. *Checkbox lists, sub-task lists, to-do lists, item information lists, that are required for every record.

Something that would be hopefully rather easy to implement is adding support for a location text field in the generated calendar feeds. Ie. just a regular text field that is turned into a LOCATION line in the iCal feed.

What is the proposed idea/solution? User can choose to send an email directly from comments section. The resulting reply shows up in the comments. Particularly useful is to have an email per workspace How does is solve the user problems? All communication relating to the record/task/client shows up in said record/task/client. This is without having to add erroneous user seat count and or guest usage to Airtable account. Who is the target audience? Any one needing a decent CRM/Ticket/Job management solution, on a none existent budget My user case is extremely specific, but here it is, as briefly and as simplistically as I can put it: I am a reseller for a major ISP, in an effort to increase my commission split I as added as a "sub-agent" to an existing agent. The issue is I lost access to their CRM tool. So I created and interface which allows me to keep track of my clients with the agent I am attached to. This works fine for the most basic of communication between him and me. How ever when I send an email to a client or to our support desk, the evidence of this communication is not recorded in the reciprocal record/task in Airtable.

I loved the product the minute I started to use. It can be a great end-to-end product with several more features. Especially in business, workflows with rules are great to automise some business processes. A feature of workflows with business process logic design ability can skyrocket the capabilities of Airtable, even in enterprise level.

I’d love to be able to link/tie a subset of view configurations between views of a table together, so that I can save time/maintain flow when temporarily adjusting a certain configuration that I want consistent across similar views. This normally comes up for me while I am doing planning for my week or during product planning. I have two or more views that are either variations on the same view (e.g. four calendar views titled “this week”, “next two weeks”, “this month”, “next month”) or similar views (e.g. a monthly calendar, a timeline view, and a gantt chart). When planning, I might have certain filters or colors that I am cycling through. I don’t love that I have to monkey with the views as I go to get them consistent. It totally ruins my flow, especially when I am doing some planning with others. I know I can use the “copy another view’s configuration” feature, but it is still ruins flow and there are some parts I don’t actually want to copy. See some of my thoughts on additional requirements for the feature. These are likely specific to my persona or how I might use it, but thought they might be helpful. FYI, configurations = view configurations. I’d like the option to synch either a subset or all configurations between views I’d like to be able to freely change unsynched configurations in synched views I’d like to be able to layer additional configurations without them being synched across views for configurations that can be layered (i.e. filters, etc.) I’d like to be able to change synched configurations within one of the synched views

A short list of things that I still can’t believe I can’t re-order in Airtable: view filter terms view grouping fields automations (!) Bonus points if we could also turn on/off filter terms and grouping fields w/o having to delete them and re-add them again. With literally everything else in Airtable re-orderable (in a very slick way), why can’t these be re-ordered? Dustin

I would love to be able to get Base & Fields metadata, such as table names, descriptions, data types, formulas, etc…
IMHO the more endpoints available the more creative developers get with a product… quite the opposite of Twitter’s approach to developers :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi, I have been working on creating a Marketing Calendar with Month, and a generic type as the columns and rows respectively using the ‘Matrix Block’ for my current project. However, I would also like to be able to print the block, but currently there is no option to print. I’ve worked around this by printing the webpage as a PDF and resizing to fit within a page, but a more natural way of doing this would be helpful. Thank you.
