What is the proposed idea/solution? An option to integrate bases/tables of data into Canva. NOT as rows or individual pieces of data but entire tables/bases.  How does is solve the user problems? 1. A simpler way to customize data by using Canva's tools and export as a PDF or whatever kind of document you wish.  2. Can add logos, color, make templates of the data on Canva. 3. This seems like a straightforward question and a simple fix -- can we get the "Unique" and "Percent Unique" options for the Linked Records field type when we click on the column summary?? These two summary options are available for single select, multiple select, single line text, long text, email, URL, and more field types, but not Linked Records. It would be very handy to have within a view. My workaround right now is to create extra formula fields to output the values in the linked record field as a string, and then use that field to get the number of unique values within that view. ... As I see the pivot table extension right now, you can only have 1 field as the column. I currently am tracking workable hours in a month versus the number of actual hours someone worked to determine comp time. Currently the only options for date range of a Gantt chart is week, 2 weeks, month, quarter, year, 5 years. I think it would be better to have a custom option where you can put the duration you want (with an option to choose, weeks, months or years) and give it a start date. The gantt charts I've been making have been for a period of 1.5 years so 1 year doesn't fit it all and then 5 years makes everything super small. It's too large of a gap.   ... View more

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...There need to be more date filtering options like this month, next month, this week and next week. The only options right now are based on today but I don't want to see 1 month from today (i.e. today - Nov 16), I want to see only records between Nov 1 and Nov 30. Ideally I want to see what tasks are due within next month and within next week so I can plan ahead in the current week/month. But that is not an option currently. What is the proposed idea/solution? Allow snapshots to be downloaded locally in a compressed/encrypted format native to Airtable only. How does is solve the user problems? I think this would meet the never ending demand/requests to have better backup options off-server. How was this validated? I understand Airtable's caginess to restrict moving all of a user's data off the server, they want to keep customers, that's cool, I want to stay here too. The problem is data often needs redundancy by keeping it separate on completely different systems. Currently, providing a CSV/JSON/API export only allows the data to move, but not the rest of the airtable features like formulas, scripts, automations, interfaces etc. If I were to lose a base for some reason (malicious intent for example), even if I have the CSV exports I would not be able to rebuild my base. If this happened I would 100% not bother to attempt to return to airtable because I know it's pointless. Airtable already provides options to duplicate bases and create snapshots (also duplication) of older states. I don't think it should be unreasonable to be able to have a feature to be able to keep these snapshots in an encrypted format offline on a local machine. The intent would be the ability to reupload this back up to airtable after a critical failure event (loss of account control for example, malicious deletion via API perhaps, loss of snapshots?). Considering it would contain other airtable exclusive features like interfaces, I don't see this being useful to attempt to port it elsewhere. If it was encrypted and formatted in a way that could only be imported/exported through airtable then this would protect airtable's IP. Password protection on this downloaded file would also prevent it from being reimported maliciously if the files were stolen. Who is the target audience? Anyone who cares about their data and don't want their eggs all in one basket. Also people who don't like to have to take their eggs out of the basket by having to crack them open, hoping to put them back later but it's just leaking through the bottom. If you can't offer an option to both backup and RESTORE user data, then it's not a backup feature, it's just a customer exit feature. ... View more
