Hi — I have a lot of experience creating interfaces for my team. I have several that work great, and all commenting is run via the Interface with no need for team members to comment in the underlying base.Last Friday, I created a new base and interface for my team, but it seems no matter what, comment notifications are opening w/in the base rather than the interface, even when the initial comment was made w/in the interface. Can someone help!? 

Hello,I would like to create a Zapier automation to notify us when a client changes details of a field in our shared Airtable.As we use forms, it seems to set the "Last Modified Time" aswell as the "Created" time, so I cannot just create a simple view to show me only records that have a "Last Modified Time".Is there a workaround in Zapier? or is there a formula I could use to say "If last modified time is greater than created time etc etc" Thanks

Is it possible to list views from the web api using oauth?  I know make.com and zapier have this functionality, but according to the dev docs it seems like this shouldnt be possible.  I've done this using access tokens for enterprise but I want to implement this functionality using oauth.  

Hey there, I’m in need of some advice from the community. We have recently set up Airtable as a CRM and it is working wonderfully with the exception of e-mail tracking. We’re still using Hubspot for e-mail tracking with a button from within Airtable that takes you directly to the deal in Hubspot - so you can see/send comms to a contact. However, we’re really keen to ditch Hubspot but I don’t think it’s possible to solve the e-mail tracking from within Airtable. Does anyone have any experience with any other CRM’s that offer email tracking and offer a clean/straight forward integration with Airtable? Currently, we use integromat to bridge the gap which works well but we cannot use it for contact mapping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I've created a simple email automation that sends volunteers a record of their contact info (people table), plus their assignments from previous years (assignments table). I have two dates formatted the same way and displaying in the table consistently. When I add them to my email, I am getting two different formats. The data format in the table is US. One appears correctly (5/3/2024) and the other appears incorrectly (2024-05-17). I also have a date time field that is also US format with time 12 hrs. The data in that field shows up as 5/2/24 5:00pm in the table but appears in the email incorrectly (2024-05-03T00:00:00.000Z).The only additional piece of info is the dates are getting pulled in from another table with the key being the first date (5/3/24). All of them look right in both the original table and the linked table. I tried changing the two that were showing up wrong to Friendly to see if they would change but they didn't. 

I am trying to come up with a calculation of the parts I need to batch-produce a product.I currently Have tables for: Products, Product Variations, Parts, and Production Plan.For example, If I need to make the product "Tea Light", this comes in small, medium, and large sizes, two different patterns, and two different wood types. These are in the Product Variations table.Each tea light has the following parts: one bottom piece, two different top pieces, and then eight sides. These are in the Parts table.In the Production Plan table, the "Quantity to Produce" field should take into account the current stock of that product which is in the "Product Variations" table.I've used ChatGPT to get 90% of the way there. But for some reason, it can't figure out the formula needed to calculate the numbers of each part to produce given the quantity of product needed.Hopefully, that makes sense. Thanks!

Hi,I am pretty new to AirTable, so not sure if this is possible. However, I currently have a table for all users of my website and then a separate table for customer reviews. Each review populates a new row, so the same company may have multiple reviews, each with its own row.I would like to input a formula to work out the average rating across all of the reviews for each company so I can then display this as an overall rating on their profile. Is this possible, if so if someone could help me with the formula that would be amazing.

Very new to Airtable and having some fun with formulas.I have project records with a simple status field (Planned, In Progress, Completed) and some basic date fields.I created a formula that checks if the project is "On time" or "Overdue" based on the completed (planned or actually completed) date field vs today.I don't need this formula to calculate on Completed projects so i'm looking for a formula that sets the field to blank if status is Completed, but calculates if Planned or In Progress.Current checking formula:IF({Completed Date} < NOW(), "Overdue", IF(IS_SAME({Completed Date}, TODAY(), 'day'), 

I couldn’t find any updated information about this topic on the community forum.Currently, I am developing some email automation workflows, and I am aware that occasional failures may happen due to unexpected errors.I would like to create a solution to recover the failed runs, but from what I’ve observed, I can only view the execution history by accessing the web page directly.I searched the documentation for any reference to an API or endpoint that allows retrieving the automation run history so I can filter and manage it according to my needs, but I couldn’t find any relevant information.

Hi Airtable Community,  The problem is to check in Airtable whether a value in a column (e.g. column 2) occurs **for the first time** or whether it is a duplicate. If the value is the **first occurrence**, a value from another column (e.g. column 4) should be displayed in another column (e.g. column 3). However, if the value is a duplicate (i.e. it already occurs in column 2 in an earlier row), column 4 should remain empty.Happy for any ideas to solve this 🙂  Thanks & bestMirko

Hi there,I am hoping to build a form which allows individuals to 'verify' the data we have on file for them. For example, say I have a phone number and an account number I want them to confirm. I have this data in a table, and want some way to have this in the form with a yes/no tickbox to allow them to confirm that the details are correct. However, using the prefill form links I am only able to get these as editable sections. I don't want users to be able to edit the prefilled entries but rather to just verify or not verify them as correct. Any pointers on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

A bunch of people use a Shared Link that I created. When opened they have the option to filter data in this view, which is really nice. In this view they are allowed to print (or export to csv). Now, I found out that, when filtered, the Print command will still show all records! That’s too bad, because especially with a lot of records, you really don’t want to print all of them. Is it possible to adjust this? Frankly, it feels like this is a bug.

Hi, I'm facing an Issue with importing data into Airtable. I have date prepared in Google Sheets which I'm trying to import in 4 diffrent ways: just copying the range (data table) and pasting it, exporting the .csv file and trying to import it, exporting the .xlsx file and trying to import it and also via Google Sheet connection. I have tried diffrent types of date formats in Airtable. In all cases importing dates appear one day before the date, so that once I have the date (screenshot from Google sheets): TestDate2025-01-15while importing it appears to be (screenshot from Airtable):   Has anyone faced such issue?Thanks in advance, Best regards, P

I have a base with several tables and lots of linked records between the tables. It has become necessary for various reasons to move one of those tables to its own base.Is there a way to move that table to its own base while preserving all the linked records to the other original base?  I'm struggling to find a good example or guidance how to approach that.thanks!

I can get the selection to work when I use the ?prefill_type=xxxx parameter in the URL while logged in. To make the form publicly accessible, I add /form to the URL like this:...airtable.com/appZv5lCwXXXXXXX/pagY4IFXXXXXX/formThis public link works, and anyone can fill out the form. We assign employees (N=65) to Job Type (N=5) and Job Title (N=many) every six months.Before we begin, we know the employees and the job titles.There are two phases: assignments and distribution.Assignment:I assign individual employees to individual job types and titles.Distribution:Employees get sent a list of their job assignments for the work period.We need to:Make sure that every employee has a job type and title.Make sure that every job title has an employee.What is the best set up for this kind of task? Is it just one big table? is it two tables (employees, jobs)?I FEEL like this is a job for linked records, but no matter how hard I try, I can't figure it out--I've been doing this on a spreadsheet but there's gotta be a better way (particularly because I have to do this twice per year).-Scott

I am looking into the possibility of using AirTable as a back end data repository for some of our data. In order for this to work, I'd have various event triggers accepting data fields and using that data to create or update an Airtable base/table using REST API calls. The goal is to replace some existing back-end that is stored in a SQL Server database.One aspect that I'm not sure to handle is preventing concurrent changes. Hi Good Airtablers:We upgraded to Enterprise in part for the Salesforce and Jira integration, but it seems that all synced bases are read-only. Is there a setting that can enable changes in Airtable to be upserted into Salesforce?I feel like this feature was there when our AE demo-ed it to us.Can anyone from Airtable show me how to edit from Airtable into Salesforce? Hi! I've been doing some scripting with the script extension, and managed to get it to a great working state when running manually in my base. I now want to put this in an automation sequence to trigger on a daily schedule. However, when running the script through automation, any API call I try to make is met with a 403 response. I've reached out to the company hosting the APIs I'm trying to call (Aha!), and they seem to believe the call doesn't even reach them (they can see my successful attempts from the manually triggered runs, but no blocked attempts), indicating something is being blocked by Airtable before the fetch call goes out.For example, dumbing it down to a very simple call, the following works in the base when running manually (200 status response with expected JSON response), but fails when running automatically (403 status response, even gives me syntax error for 'unexpected end of JSON input'):  let apiToken = 'WORKING_KEY' l

I went to get into my airtable this morning, and it told me that I needed to request access. I am the person who set this up, and when it sent me the email to have the owner approve it, when I went to approve it, I got “This access request is no longer valid." I have a lot of data that I need access to. Please advise how I can recover my airtable.
