Hey,When sending my metadata in media platforms (such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Teams etc.) I see the metadata and thumbnail of Airtable.com company (attaching a photo). Is there a way to customize it so when I share my airtable URL people will see a different metadata?Thanks

Hi there - I'm creating interfaces for different external users, but some of my field names make more sense internally than externally. I'd like the field names in the interface to be different than what they are in the base. For example, my base has a field called "Load Description HTML", but I'd like that same field to be called "Contains which product?" in the interface. This would be similar to how Form Views allow you to change the field names so they make more sense in the form.Does anyone know if/how this is possible?Thanks,Kelsey

Bonjour, Je suis en train d'essayer de créer une table pour créer une note de frais. Je voudrais à l'aide d'un script "fusionner" plusieurs enregistrement en fonction du mail d'une personne. C'est à dire que j'aurais plusieurs champs comme "Nom", "Prénom", "Description des frais","Montant" et "Facture". J'arrive à fusionner tous les enregistrement pour créer une seule ligne et toutes les données se séparent avec un "/" . Is it possible to embed a jotform into a website that uses url parameters from airtable? I use automations in airtable to send emails and with links to jotforms, but I want to be able to embed these forms into a webpage, but keep the url parameters from airtbale. Is this possible?

I want to use the “send an email once a record is created” automation tool, yet I want it to from an alias account connected to my g-suit account. For example- once a user is registered to my website I create a record containing all his info. then I want to automate an email welcoming him to our service, yet I want the mail to be sent from an alias account (info@…com) and not my personal address (for example- david@…com). Airtable allows me to connect my g-suite account (david@…com), but the alias account (info@…com) cannot be connected (because there is no actual account). Any suggestions on how to set an auto-reply from my alias account?

Hello, I am looking for a way to calculate a date minus x days based on a date field. Hi all,I hope you can help:At the moment, he same view in interface designer hides the other fields of a record (please see the attached screenshots) which make them really difficult to find the right lesson when people use compared to the database. Hey y’all, Starting to dip my toes into Airtable Automations which are pretty neat, but worried about long term maintainability if I am to lean on them more heavily. Do you all know of any ways to report errors within Airtable itself? Or is it better to wrap all scripts in a try catch & report to an external error service like Sentry?

Is it possible to set a table to sync from an Excel Sheet?  I know I can import data, and I know I can setup Bases to sync, but I'm looking to set up a Table to pull data from an Excel sheet and keep up to date with those changes.

Hi all, I've been a fly on the wall in the community for a while now, today I need some help. I reviewed this post to help me with my problem, however I'm still running into issues I can't seem to get around with my current ability. An automation is failing with the following error:"field "ID" cannot accept the provided value: cannot modify a computed field" The automation is supposed to create a new record in table "grants", when the "proposal" form is filled in. However, the automation fails to create an ID in the "ID" field in the "grants" table.  What is strange about this error is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why. Looking forward to your response.

We have two bases, a UAT and a Prod base.  Changes are made to the UAT base, and once approved, we sync to the Prod base.  We notice that the records themselves sync over, but they are not in the same order.  Are we missing something or is this a limitation of sync?

I am trying to create a table that is linked to a Box folder where I have hundreds of folders inside the root folder. Those folders contain other sub-folders and tens of thousands of files. (Root Folder>Folder>sub-folders/files). I don't want all the (sub)folders and files to be synched to my table, just the folders. In other words, I want all the information to live inside of box and just have a button/link to click to open the folder where the (sub)folders and files reside. There doesn't seem to be a way to just have the folders synched without it trying to synch all the (sub)folders and files. Needless to say, it quickly hits the 10,000 record limit. Howevere, all the folders I actually want to see are included within the synched table. I can create a filter to weed out the sub-folders and files, but I don't want that information just hanging around burning up records (counting towards my record limit). I hope all that makes sense. Hi all, is it possible to run the “Sync now” command which synchronizes the records from the source base through a script? I would like to create an automation that has a webhook as its trigger and this script as an action. This is because I have a scenario on Integromat which sometimes fails as it does not find the record that has not yet been synchronized (despite there is a 5 minute “sleep” module). Hello, has anyone experienced this issue as of now on October 6, 2023?I usually copy and paste leads from our sheets to Airtable to directly upload leads for our campaign. However, at 5am ET, I couldn't even copy and paste a single row into our database.Is there a solution for this? I noticed announcements stating that Airtable is performing database upgrades today, so I suspect that might be the reason. However, I'm not sure if this is happening only on my end.I would appreciate hearing from others as well.

Today the "Expand the table" feature stopped working for me. I see it's happened to others in the past. I'm using the work-around of creating enough empty records in the destination table before I paste, but that's only feasible for small datasets. If there's a way to automatically create a specified number of empty records, that would be helpful, too.I don't think mismatched structure between origin and destination tables is the problem, as I had always been able to paste records into a mismatched view when I wasn't paying attention.Has Airtable has ever addressed why this happens? It would be great to be able to fix it, as my business process is heavily dependent on this feature.

I’m probably missing something, but how do I get the current day of the year? For instance, we have WEEKNUM(TODAY()), but not DAYNUM(TODAY())? I can do year(today()), and week(today() but when I do day(today()) it shows the day of the month and not the year. Thanks! Example: Jan 1st 2021 is day 1, etc.

I have several views that show the icons without the words - it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out how to put them back, or how they got this way in the first place.Please send help! And please also don't ever make me have to deal with that truly circular, frustrating and unhelpful bot on the help bubble.
