Hello community When you are creating a new record using a form, you can search for other records to be linked to the one you are creating (if you have a linked field). I have been reading the different previous posts and I understood we can only search by the primary field. So, in our company, we set up all primary fields as a concatenation of different data, let’s say “Location - Name”. In the search bar to identify the right record If I type Location A, I got all the results with Location A - working fine If I type Name A, I got all the results with Name A - working fine But if I type Location A and Name A, no more result at all Is there a way to search for several words or just letters in the search bar? Hi all! I need users to be able to re-relate records between two tables (for which I built a nice interface). What’s the best approach to make the re-linking as easy for humans as possible? I recently switched out all my primary fields to be the UID instead of something human-readable but non-unique because the hunan readable format was non-unique and led to duplicates. So I was thinking the best would be to be able to filter the “link-to” dropdown via a different field than the primary field, but that doesn’t seem to be possible. Suggestions?

I am working on an invoice in the Page Designer extension and having trouble adding multiple line items. Company A has multiple line items in by Base. The unique identifier is the Company Name "Company A". In Quarter 1, 2023, Company A used 3 different hotels, and has 3 different revenues. I'd like to list on the invoice each of the hotels and their coordinating revenues.Company A, Hotel A, Cost ACompany A, Hotel B, Cost BCompany A, Hotel C, Cost CI'd like to add all of these to my invoice, but right now, only the 1st line is pulling into the invoice.Help! And thank you! 

I have a collaborator on an interface with editor permissions. He can not create a new record (get's a message he does not have permission). Editors should be able to create records. What could be the issue?Thank you for your help.

 I want any record in the "Student ID" field to be copied into the linked "Student Names" field so that the student's name is pulled anytime an ID is entered. My automation works when I test it but nothing happens when I enter new records.  

I have a field of long text, and I set an automation that could help me send a notification Email to my collaborators after I update that field. However, the trigger would be fired several times, when I was still typing(no matter using when the record updated or when record matches conditions)Is there any way to make the trigger only be fired after I finish typing? Goal: Sync data from Google Cloud Platform with AirTable every 5 minutes.Problem: Some of the data syncs but not all the data. In other words, what is reflected in AirTable does not always match what is in Google Cloud Platform. The problem does not happen all the time which makes it difficult to troubleshoot.Any clues or links to figure out how to fix this issue are greatly appreciated. If you know of any consultants with expertise in AirTable API and synchronization with Google Cloud Platform are greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Hello! I have a custom extension. I haven't made any changes to the code recently but today calling expandRecord() starting throwing this error and crashing my extension: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'parentBase')I've confirmed that it's being passed a valid-seeming record object.Here's what my code looks like, it's defined in the top level on my component. 🤔 🤔const expand = (record) => { console.log(record) expandRecord(record) }Let me know if you need any other information. Hello! I am trying to figure out a formula that grabs a start date when a previous task ends. So in row 2 the Task Dependency is DEC:Project Setup. In row 1 you see the task is DEC: Project Setup with the task due date being 5/13/2022. I want to create a formula that takes this due date and puts it as the Task Start Date in row 2. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

I am trying to set up and “Address Field” that has the full address, ie: “1234 Summerset Dr.”. How can I sort that field A-Z without it just sorting by the number portion of the address? Thank you in advance!

Hi there,I am trying to attempt to add a formula, that when a certain hotel name is entered in column A, then in column B, depending on that hotel name, it adds the hotel brand automatically. For example:If Hotel Name is Hyatt Centric, then Hotel Brand is Hyatt. I can get this formula to work: SWITCH("Hyatt Centric", "Hyatt")But my question is can I/how do I have multiple Hotel Names in one hotel brand? For example:If hotel name is Hyatt Centric, Hyatt House, Hyatt Place or Hyatt Regency in column A, then Hotel Brand is Hyatt in column B.How do I write the switch formula to have multiple options?Thanks!

When I go to choose a related record, I see the name of that record.Under it I see several other columns that provide more information, some of which are redundant to the record name. Is there a way to customize this to select the fields underneath (I would love to show the related Notes field, as example)

I currently have a table that has alllll of our data. We want to separate it so it's a bit easier to manage. So, here's what I'm trying to do:Tab 1 - Master Info. This will have a SKU#, a product name, and a materials cost.Tab 2 - Wholesale Vendor #1 - We will type in a SKU, and it will bring in the product name and materials cost from Tab 1. Tab 3 - Wholesale Vendor #2 - We will type in a SKU, and again, it will bring in the info from Tab 1.I don't want the tabs to be busy and have extra columns. I'd like it to be a basic "vlookup" type. However, I can't figure out how to do it without a) having the extra columns and b), going into each and every line to pull out the info.Any tips? I am currently trying to format information for later use, and need to keep to a pretty strict format, as seen in the first photo below. The inclusion of P1, P2.... is necessary to differentiate between information that has been provided to us and what returns false. I have managed to format the lookup field to separate into the desired format, but I cannot manage to use my "NumberofValues" field to create the P1-P5 in order for me to concatenate the labels before each separated value. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if more information is needed.

Hello ‌👋‌We are trying to publish new blog post articles from Airtable to Webflow using Make (Integromat).The table for the new articles is set up identically for the fields in the Webflow CMS collection. There are quite a few fields to map, some of which are single-select and multi-select fields. The single-select and multi-select items are set up in the same base as separate tables to the articles table. I've seen variations of this question, but can't seem to find the best solution for my use case. (FYI - I'm on the Free version) I need to create sequential numbers based on a linked record. Example: Our "Jobs" table has all our jobs and their corresponding data. At times, certain jobs require a change order.  The format we use for this is the 544-01, 544-02, 652-32, 652-33, and so forth. The first number specifying the previously assigned Job# and the second being the change order #. When using autonumber the numbers aren't sequential if a record in between isn't specified by a single select as a Change Order. Making our records seem scattered and really confusing the customer when they received change order 15 and the next one change order 18. Any suggestions? 

Hello folks! I am trying to run updates to a table with a CSV file but I’m not seeing the option to merge records, only import them. I tried this on a few different tables and am still not seeing it. Anyone else? Troubleshooting ideas? Thanks!

I am looking for a way to import data from a CSV file but match on more than just one field. The CSV Import App appears to be limited in allowing matching to occur only on one field. Is there an alternative solution to importing data and matching on multiple fields? My use case is I am importing people who have purchased tickets at a recent event but I know some of the people are already present in the base. I would like to match on Full Name, email address, and Street Address 1 to avoid duplication of existing records while also preventing inappropriate overwriting of data. Thanks!

Is there a limit on sending a number of emails to collaborators and non-collaborators? Is see there is a 100 email limit in the Pro plan and wanted to find details for the Enterprise plan. I appreciate your help.

Пытаюсь ответить и снова открыть доступ, но ошибка остается.Мои коллеги имеют доступ к этому рабочему пространству AirTable. I organized my timeline groouped by rooms and I filtered the events so that only the ones happening on today or later. The thin is that airtable stop showing the rooms that doesn't have events planned in the futur neither. How could I do so that only the past events disapear but the rooms (even empty) continue showing?

Somehow the base I was working on erased some critical information from my base. is it possible to reverse these errors as in a time-machine backup?
