I have records with a %Completed field. I previously created an automation that updates a progress status field based on milestone dates applied to that record. This automation is triggered when the %Completed field is updated and it has been working wonderfully. There are 9 separate conditions with three progress status options. The first condition is shown in the screenshot below. The other 8 are just below out of frame.If today is between Milestone 1 and Milestone 2 dates and %Completed is > 25% = On TrackIf between M1 and M2 and % >= 12 and < 25 = Behind ScheduleIf between M1 and M2 and % < 12 = At Risk.If between M2 and M3 and % >= 50 = On TrackIf between M2 and M3 and % >= 35 and < 50 = Behind ScheduleIf between M2 and M3 and % < 35 =At RiskIf between M3 and Deadline and % >= 75 =

I am creating a hour tracker for my instructors (around 70 of them).  I have a requirement in which I show how many hours they taught each month.  In table 1 (Instructor Hours) I have everyone listed, with a formula field for total hours to date and each month through 2024.In table 2 I have a form to push updates to table 1, however the form I'm using just seems to replace the current number in table 1 for each month instead of adding them up.  Should I do a rollup linking to the update field that way, just tired of bashing my head against the wall trying to figure this out, any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

I think it's clear that the vast majority of the Airtable Community has rejected the new dashboard/home screen design. For every 1 person complaining here (and there are many across the threads), there are many more unhappy people that are not posting (like my 7 staff members). It's clear the Product Team & decision-makers have no interest in accommodating or reversing this update after removing the option to roll back to the previous version, regardless of the negative feedback already received then. Yet Airtable Management needs to address us. So if it isn't regarding a solution to our concerns then I would like to ask;why did you 'fix' something that to so many of us wasn't broken?what methodology or use cases determined dashboard navigation & layout? what artistic school/philosophy/strategy determined the new colors/designs? why was the initial roll-out done without warning & why n

Hello everyone! I use an external software to manage payments and such. When a certain action is made in that software I want to send a webhook to Airtable with the purpose of creating a new Record with information about the change in the payment software. So far so good, I have started looking at Automations for this and found the trigger 'When webhook received'. Then I got a webhook URL. What kind of Action should I choose to use? Would it be possible to just pick 'Create Record' and then pick the data from the webhook call? Or is it necessary to write a Script? The data could be something like: - Contract ID- Payment methodThanks in advance!

Hi all, I'm trying to create a formula to add on to a scheduling template I'm using. There is already a field for Monday hrs, Tuesday Hrs, etc. Formatted like this: IF({Monday Start} = BLANK(), 0,DATETIME_DIFF({Monday End}, {Monday Start}, 'hours')) I'd like to add a new field "Pay Hours", which stipulates that if the field "Monday Hrs" has a value of 6 or higher, it should subtract 0.5 hours, so that the column under Pay Hours shows that day's hours minus 0.5.  How do I write that formula? I've tried a few times with no luck.  Thanks in advance!

Hello! I'm running into an issue when using "Find Records" with Conditional Logic automations. In past, I thought I could use Conditional Logic automations to update each record in a list of records but now it seems those automations won't run unless the automation is set up as "Run as a List".  However, there's not currently an option to use both Conditional Logic automations and Run the automation through a list.  Is there any other way around this issue other than writing a custom script? I'm glad there are custom script options, but I came to Airtable for the no-code, so I haven't had time to take a course on Javascript yet... 🙂 Any help is appreciated! 

I've tried this several times and nothing I do seems to work. I'm trying to wrap this formula in an IF(ISERROR( so that if there is an error it stays blank and I can't get it to work. Is there a way to show a button/option of Accept or Deny within the email using automation? Currently, the email is sent with a link the reader clicks, that opens a form (duplicating the same info in the email) to make their selection.

Hey everyone, have a question about a formula I can't get working correctly.I only have a date field (Date) and a formula field, with the formula Date=TODAY()The formula returns a 1 for today and 0 if it's another date. So far so good.What I want is if there is no date that is today, I want it to return 1 for tomorrow and 0 for the rest of the dates until a Today date turns up again.Is this possible?Its just for a simple API filtering that shows what rows to read from.

I am trying to track a weekly trend by capturing the $ value in our pipeline at the end of each week and have it populate into another table. I have a "Projects" table, a "Sales Team" table, and a "Reports" table. Projects are assigned (linked) to someone from the "Sales Team" table. I am using the roll-up field in "Sales Team" to roll up the $ amount they have in their pipeline. I also have a Pipeline target field and field that calculates their percent to target. It would be nice to be able to  pull all of the data, but I am mainly focused on getting their Name, their branch/Office Location (Single Select Field), their current pipeline, and their pipeline target into Table two. I planned to set up an automation that is set to trigger every Friday at 4pm that will pull the current data at that given time. Hi all,I've noticed that the spaces disappear from the attachment name somewhere between adding a PDF to Airtable and the email draft that I'm creating by an automation through Zapier. When I add the attachment to Airtable it's called 1-15678fmsc loading docs.pdf but when it appears as the attachment in my Outlook draft it's called 1-15678fmscloadingdocs.pdf. Not a dealbreaker, but slightly annoying. Any ideas?Thanks,Kelsey

Hi all,I'm looking into the possibilities of making Airtable part of our project management set-up. At this moment, employees log their hours in Excel timesheets (on a daily basis, per month) and get copied over and over to make simulations or analysis of our ongoing projects. We have some major drawbacks in our way of working:- Information is not up-to-date, as timesheets are being processed once a month.- We need to copy the time data more than once, as we have no database set-up or whatsoever. Airtable could make it easier to centralize all timesheet data and link it back to other fixed data like project information, invoice structuring, people management... Hello, with Airtable’s announcements today, I’m wondering if it now might be possible to do a two-way sync with a WordPress table. As I understand it, it hasn’t been possible to update a record in a WordPress table when the record is updated in Airtable. I tested Zapier and was able to ADD a new record in Airtable when a record is added in WordPress. But, ideally what I need is a true two-way sync between the two programs. I’m building an alumni site in WordPress, and would like the following functionality: When a user is added in WordPress, the user is added in Airtable When a user is updated in either WordPress or Airtable, the two records are synced so the update will happen in both databases Happy to hire a community expert to work on this functionality, but do we know if this is now possible with Airtable’s new updates announced today? I’d like to use AirTable as a backend for Wordpress. Is there a wordpress plugin to so ? (I already know AirPress) How would you organize your Post in a AirTable ? and more precisely how would you handle Markdown from AirtTable rich fields and images ? I give a try to AirPress it’s great but it doesn’t go very far It do not handle Markdown fields It seems there is a “timeout” on AirTable Images ? Hello,Few years ago I automate AitTable to Wordpress using a Node-RED as a middleware code. The usage seems to me so obvious and basic :IF I update a line in AirTable I trigger an Automation (REST Request)THEN Node-RED will create or update a Wordpress Post managing the attachmentToday I try to figure out how to make it without my code. AirTable put upfront Zapier, so I give it a try... What a hell of complicated  !!! Zapier is so dumbYou have to handle if it's an Update or a CreateYou have to handle the attachementMay by I missunderstand but it confirm to me that Zappier and other automation tools worth nothing if you have to create 3 or 4 zap for a so simple task. Hi allBeen trying to pass a simple body through to one of my tables using Metatrader 5:{ "records": [ { "fields": { "Ticket": "abc", "Notes": "Notes here" } } ] }However, it fails with the error: {"error":{"type":"INVALID_REQUEST_BODY","message":"Could not parse request body"}} I've been using webhook.site to test sending from Metatrader, and passing it through here works fine. Body recieved ok when I just switch out the URLs.I've also tested with Postman and the raw body works fine sending the raw body through to both airtable and webhooks.siteSo I've kinda backwards and forwards tested both ways to airtable but can't figure out why sending it from Metatrader is not working when using it to send to webhooks works ok.Is there any way of bug tracing this a little more or getting more info from airtable?

Hi, I am trying to redesign an existing base for our team. In current base, we have a list of tasks for each teaching period, with instructions on how to do them (i.e., instruction is recorded in "long text" field; and some tasks also have an "attachment" field where applicable). Most of the tasks are recurring across all 4 teaching period - Sem 1, Int 1, Sem 2, Int 2. - these 4 have been set up as a "Single select" field. For recurring task, I just duplicated the records and change their teaching period in the "Single select" field.  For example: "Send mailmerge to students for application outcomes" is a task that we will do across all 4 teaching periods. Is there a way where I can set up this base and automate that if I updated instruction for the "Send mailmerge to students for application outcomes" of Sem 1, the other three "Send mailmerge to students for application outcomes" tasks of Int 1, Sem 2 and Int 2, will also be updated with the

Is there a way to make this interface less bulky? it's not very user friendly when looking at certain overviews to leave comments. Is it possible to make it look more like basecamp?
