Hello,Here is a picture of my interface. I have a filter element which is linked to the list element. I would like the filter element to apply to the linked option when creating a new record in the list element so that the user can select/filter which options they want to add as a new record in the list element.  For example, I want the list of materials to be filtered by the supplier in the filter element so that when creating the new record in the list element, only the options for a single supplier (specified in the filter element) are shown. Although there are finite options and I could create a separate interface for each option (the supplier in the filter element), I would like to avoid doing so and having a more dynamic (1 page) interface).I need

Hello,I am trying to create an automation that will remove a selection from a record, if another selection is present. So as seen in the picture below, if a record has "Waitlist - Event 1" from the "Waitlist" field. It will REMOVE "Event 1" from the "Event(s) Attending" field.1. This is so, once Event 1 has reached registration capacity (100 people for this example), all further registrations will have their form selection removed, replaced with the waitlist selection in the next field.2. This will then send them an automated email informing them they have been waitlisted for whatever events have reached overcap.3. The waitlist events are in their own table and are linked records, the information between event data and event data (waitlist) are 99% identical, with the only difference being the word "waitlist" is added to the name for email automation and identification purposes.

Inspired by a YouTube video from Dan Lehman, I aimed to craft a system where volunteers could easily log their hours during a program. The base setup was straightforward, but I've hit a roadblock when integrating custom buttons within the Airtable Interface.Base Setup:Table: "Time Logs".Fields: Volunteer full name, VITA site (with options: El pueblo and Quincie), Certifications (with options: Basica and Advanced), Time In, Time Out, and Duration.Functionality:I implemented two button fields:"Start Time Tracking": Populates the "Time In" field with the current time."End Time Tracking": Populates the "Time Out" field and calculates the duration.Both buttons are linked to custom scripts to automate the time-tracking process.

One task is creating a user-friendly button for visitors to request more information about a specific record.Here's the plan: Visitors click the button, generating an automated message to collect additional record info. The message enters a "pending reply" state and is marked "ready to send."Problem: When using a button via "open custom extension" in shared Airtable views/links, external users can't access it as internal users can. Here's the situation. I need a base with 4 tables. Each table has inventory for 4 different types of products. Data for each record includes descriptors including single and multi-selects, text and most importantly the # available. The inventory manager would add this data. So far, pretty easy. Next, want to create a form so requestors can order from this inventory. Requestors would need to see the inventory available by type. As requestors fill out the form to place their order, we need to see the inventory amount change in real-time such that if user #one depletes the stock, user #2 will see a notice similar to "currently out of stock, will be ordered."  It would be nice if the inventory manager would be notified that a product would need to be ordered. There would also be the need on the form to order a product that is currently not in inventory. Not sure if the existing data sets would be used or just an open text box.Can Airtable do this?

I run a table that keeps track of content my team creates for a digital billboard. When we hear about new content, our project manager builds out a production schedule based on the date the content is supposed to go live on screen.To help my PM with scheduling, I used formulas to populate some milestone columns (initial concepts due, kickoff to production, multiple creative reviews, etc...) with some estimated days for each step in the process. Hello!We are attempting to connect using OAuth 2 but the development team says they are not getting any answers from Airtable.We are being asked to login first - which we do, succesfully.Afterwards, we are being asked to select the base and be granted access.That's fine but after we click Grant Access, nothing happens. I’m loving the idea of the SendGrid block, but from my experimentation, it appears emails can be sent only as plain text, which is virtually useless. SendGrid’s API makes it very easy to specify emails as HTML. Am I missing an option to send as HTML? This is the difference between a wildly useful tool and one that offers minimal utility.

Hello everyone - and Merry Christmas! So I am playing around with a table that contains several Records with dates in the future (new Records are being added from time to time). The Records will be made by colleagues in one department and then taken care of in another department. Right now I've made an Automation that sends an email to people from the other department with all the info they need from the specific Record so that they can complete the task straight from their inbox. However: I want to be sure that they actually do it; or in other words: I want to be sure that Records aren't forgotten. Is there a nice way to accomplish this? I thought of adding a Button to the email so that when my colleague in the other department finished the task, they could click on that Button and it will be registred in Airtable on the specific Record; however I don't see that's an option. I hope to find a solution in here! 

I'm building out the Airtable to Google Calendar Automation (see this article)It is important for us to hide the guest list so invitees cannot see other people invited or their contact information. There is not a setting inside Airtable automations that handles guest list or guest permissions from as far as I can see.The Google Calendar account that we are using to send out these invites has guest list and guest permissions DISABLED by default. If I create a new Google Calendar invite inside Google Calendar itself, they are disabled. Works as expected and respects the defaults.However, when I use Airtable to create Google Calendar invites, it is ignoring this setting in my Google Calendar account and creating invites that ALLOW people to view the guest list.Any ideas?

I am working on an AirTable base for my warehouse that receives Vehicle Tires. Our Receiving staff runs AirTable on their iOS devices; Currently, they scan the Barcode of the Tires and it automatically goes to the respective article/item on the AirTable Base and then they add the 'Tires Received amount' to the existing Inventory. i.e. If the Existing Inventory was 1000 and a shipment of 50 Tires were received, they change the Inventory number 1000 to 1050 manually. I would like to observe the possibilities of creating a column where the user can input a number every time a consignment of tires are received and that number automatically gets added to the existing Inventory and gets updated on its own.Table in the Base is as follows:-Column A has the Tired Brand and the Model/Size;-Columns B has the Current Stock (Inventory);-Column C has the Supplier name;-Column D has the unique barcode number of each Tire type.Thanks for

I have a company planner in airtable that I want to print in a year view colour coded with the project name printed.  How do I do that?  It doesn't have a year view option so I added the calendar to my google calendar but year view in that doesn't work either!  What do other people do??  

Hi,I'm trying to determine how to display the difference between two dates as years, months then days.I have a start date and an end date, (the moment a worker started in the company and the moment he ended his contract with us), and I need to know how to have the result like "1y,3months,15days" or something like that, I found a formula that gives me the result in weeks and days, but a week always have 7 days, but a month can vary the days (28 days, 30 days, 31 days), so I am kind of confused

Hello All, I have a question about creating a custom synced calendar for each user.  I own an RV van rental management company and am trying to figure out how to have a unique calendar link for each customer that we can sync up with our user interface.  Currently, I am creating a new view for every user, but I don't see this as a scalable option as we expand. I would like a unique calendar showing each user's reservations created automatically rather than manually creating it every time we onboard a user.  I hope this makes sense.  I also don't want hundreds of views in airtable so each user can have a unique calendar.  I am using stacker as my user interface and would also like to figure out how to embed the calendar there so customers don't have to rely on a link.

I'm using the WORKDAY function and it's skipping the weekend as it should, but it always returns the previous Friday. Is there a way to have it return Friday if the date falls on a Saturday, and return Monday if it falls on Sunday?
