Hello Airtable Community! I'm working on a special project for a content calendar within Airtable. There are 4 tables in play: The master calendar table and 2-4 tables to individually view the content being planned for each platform. The master calendar is serving as a master view of ALL communications going out, but the individual tables are being used to plan the specific content. I am working on an automation that will create a new record in the corresponding individual platform views from the master calendar. The problem I'm running into is that I would like that new record to be linked to the original record in the master calendar. So that if changes are made to the record while viewing the individual platforms, it will also change within the master calendar table. I hope this makes sense, been struggling for the past few hours. I've attached a screenshot of what the tables look like.

Hi there amazing community! I am working on a full setup for indy film to be able to do most tasks in AirTable. I have several documents that are required and not sure how to accomplish them.In this case it is a sheet called the "1 Liner" that details out the basic schedule for upcoming filming days. It can encompass multiple days. Currently I have a table/view that contains specifics: Not a problem so far, I can easily print this directly or create a Designer for it. My problem is that it needs to eventually look similar to this with the added brown and black lines with details (note the colors are not what is important, the specific details are): Each of these lines is specific to that "spot" and unique to the situation. i'm trying to create a List view using the list feature that was rolled out earlier this year. i have three linked tables: Events, People, and Tasks. Events is the top level. There will be a number of People associated with each event. Each event will have Tasks and each task will be assigned to one person. The task record is linked to both the assignee and the event. The task record can be linked to only one person and only one project.I expected that the list view would then show me a summary of each event, with the people who are associated with the event, and the tasks that are assigned to each person.My organization runs many events, and some of our people are associated with many of those events. If i assign a task for one event to one person, and ALSO assign a task for a different event to that same person, then in the list view, it is showing tasks that aren't connected to the event under that event. here are some screenshots that i hope will help.

I am confused with how to set up the Repeating Groups feature and how to make it work the way I want to.My AirTable table is a list of many records that are assigned to different employees.  I created a View for overdue records (each record has a due date). I want to create a repeating automation that sends out an Email to each team member with a grid embedded in the email of their outstanding records at various times around the due date. I am confused as to how to make this work so that each email to a team member shows a list of only their own assigned records.I believe that this structure is definitely not going to work the way I want to because when I put in the grid from the "Find Records" action, it shows the entirety of the list. See this:

Hi!I have three different fields which are three different language versions. But the records are the same (the only difference is language). I have this because I have to include these fields in three different language Forms (because it's multiple select type). But I want to connect all these records - I only want to translate them.Is there a better way to do this? I'm new to Air Table 🙂Thanks a lot!

I want to change single select field (named "Status") let's say from "status A" to "status B" of a product when the checkbox field (named "Checked") in checked. Both are in the same table.I already try it with automation but the error appears. What am I doing wrong here?  

Hi, Hope all reading this are well and staying safe. I’m creating a Business Dashboard with a range of graphs for different purposes. Some of these are stacked charts. My need is to achieve consistent order and colour of category groupings in charts, in two ways: Consistent order and colour of category groupings when changing a stacked bar chart to a stacked line chart. Airtable seems to take control and change the order and colour (see screenshots below). Please note: in creating the stacked line chart I simply copied/duplicated the stacked bar chart, and made one adjustment: changed the chart type from bar to line. Hello Airtable Community! I created a stacked line graph using Vega-Lite in the dashboard of a base. However, the graph is not interactive (i.e. can't see the exact values when I hover above a line) and I can't seem to move it onto the interface. Is there a way to create stacked/multi-series line graph, including a mean line? Here is the graph using Vega-Lite that I'd like to recreate in the interface!Thank you! 

I have built a couple dashboards in an Airtable Base which I am happy with. But the downside is they are a bit buried and hard for others to find so I am considering leveraging the Interface Designer tool to display them. What’s the most efficient way to get Dashboards that already exist in a base over to interfaces? It almost seems like I have to re-build them using the interface designer which I am dreadding - is there a quicker way to port them over? Which area has more graph customization options - building dashboards within a base using the Apps or Dashboards layout w/in Interfaces? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hello everyone,Looking for some help on a problem I'm trying to resolve in Airtable. Context and goal of the databaseI'm building a database of our members. The first table lists our members and their level of membership and the second table lists the training courses we offer.Back on the first table, I then inserted a lookup column to say which training course the member has taken. So far so good, everything works.Here is how it looks like so far (sorry, all in french) : Our end goal is to send to each member, at the end of the year (when it's time to renew their membership), a list of all our trainings, and for each one, show them which ones they took part of or not. Hey all,I am stumped and looking for some help. Here's the situation; I have linked record called subgroups (a string with an integer i.e. Pacific 6) that will be occasionally updated when the person is moved to a new subgroup. I want to keep a running record of each group a person has ever been in, so if they are in subgroup X, then moved to subgroup Y, then moved to subgroup Z, the record keeping cell would now contain "subgroup X, subgroup Y, subgroup Z" but I cannot figure out how to append the new information each time a record is updated instead of replacing or concatenating with just one other record. Hi, I'm facing the deduping issue. The situation is that when I dedupe records in Airtable, the checkmarks in a column disappear. From the attached file, one record with "opportunity" column should have a checkmark✅ and the other one doesn't have. However, it showed that both records don't have checkmarks at all. Kindly let me know how to solve it! Thanks a lot

Hi,I am trying to check if the Cell "vB" has a value or not using  IF({vB} != BLANK(),"true","false"). But strangely, even blank cells are spitting out the value "true". No clue why. Can anyone help?

I work for a nonprofit company and we have been trying to purchase an enterprise plan from Airtable since December 2022.The agents have not been professional and have not gotten back with anything tangible for over 2 months.We have received no response and we would really like to proceed. Sales and Customer Support haven't been helpful either and we have been reassigned to several agents with no contract in sight.Is this an internal issue?Quite disappointed with the level of service.

Hello, Quite new to Airtable, I have an issue with an automation.We are a non-profit that coaches People, who create Projects. We have a directory table called "Annuaire" where all the People are, a Projects table where we list the Projects and a Prospect Projets table for people who may be interested in our courses. The prospect table has a form, so people can enter their info by themselves. To keep things simple, the Prospect table has info related to the person (which would go in the Directory table) and the project (which will stay in the Prospect Projets table for now). The automation I have in mind is the following : 1. Hello Community,I have tried to find this answer but come up with nothing so far.I wish to create an If Statement based off a Link Field which contains words.Below is my issue:'Proposal Type' is the Linked Field which can have multiple different word options.My objective is if 'Locking' is selected in the 'Proposal Type' field, return the value 0, otherwise return the Minimum Freight Total. (i.e. locking doesn't include freight).The formula I believe should work is:IF({Proposal Type}='Locking',0,{Helper Minimum Freight Total}) However regardless of the Proposal Type, the value is always returning "Helper Minimum Freight Total"  

Hi everyone!I'm trying to create a simple automation to send notifications on a specific Slack channel once action X occurs. PROBLEM: when I try to connect my work Slack account, Airtable tells me that "the selected account is not valid or no longer works.". ⚠️It doesn't work with my company's Slack workspace but it works with my personal Slack Workspaces.Has anyone faced the same problem at any point in time? Or does anyone know how to fix this issue/ a workaround?⚠️It works if I use a 3rd party tool, such as Zapier or Make/Integromat but I can't use this type of tools for the project I'm working on. It must be a direct integration between Airtable and Slack OR a workaround that doesn't require 3rd party tools like the ones mentioned above - for instance, webhooks or writing a script?Thanks a lot for any

I know this has been asked many times in march/april this year, but I’d like to know where we stand on this. I want to send a weekly digest of upcoming events, using a grid or list view. However, these events are always sorted from “newest” to “oldest” (i.e. the event I created last is on top). The same goes for the order of the columns in the grid by the way… Would it be so hard to add a sorting option to the “find records” flow block? Or at least keep the sorting that is used in the “view” that is selected for the “find records”??

I have two tables; my primary table is a listing of our inventory units that we are running promotions for; when an inventory item sells, we add it's stock number to table 2. I'm looking for a way to set the status of each record in table 1 so that it shows as "for sale" if its stock number doesn't exist in table 2, and gets updated to "sold" when its stock number is added to table 2 as sold. Any ideas on how to best achieve this?
