It says “On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails.” eventhough I have a Pro subsciption. What kind of subscription do I need?

Hello:) I am very new to Airtable and am having a hard time figuring this out on my own. I have a data base on Airtable where I have over 200 members of the organisation I work in with their emails and dates of birth. Now I want to create an automation, that is triggered on the members birthdays, sending them a ‘Happy Birthday’ Email without me having to look after it regularly. Does anybody know how this works and could maybe help me out? Best in a very easy way to understand because as said above - I am very new to all of this… :slightly_smiling_face: Thank you in advance. Hi! I’ve created base and table, to which all new orders from my Woocommerc shop are imported through Zapier. I wanted to create an automation (through Airtable, not Zapier) that would send me an e-mail with the number of orders and their sum at the end of the day. I’ve created automation to run every day, and search for orders which day is “today”. Unfortunately, I cannot find a way, to sum order amount and insert it into an e-mail. Do you have any tips on how to do that? Do you think it is even possible? Thanks in advance!

I was wondering if there was a way to create an automation where when I update a single select (from In Process to Complete), if an automation could be done to update the date column to TODAY(). I would like to do this without changing the date on previous completed assignments, is this possible?

I have created a two step automation where the condition is based on a date. If any of the dates in a certain field is before today, which they all are, the automation is supposed to update that record and create a new one. Hi evreyone. I’ve created an automation to send an email recap for appointments. I have a date and time field that is formatted with DATETIME_FORMAT and that shows up correctly in grid view. yet, when I insert this field in an email, the preview shows me an Iso formatting… I’ve looked around but haven’t found an answer. I am new to Airtable and setting up coaching system. A batch (table Batch) will have start & end date and one batch will have one coach. I have another table (CoachBandwidth) to calculate the coach bandwidth based on its allocation. Coach can be part of multiple Batches. If the batch is of 4 month duration from Sep 2021 - Dec 2021 than I need 4 records to be inserted/updated for each month (Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec 2021) based on number of student it is coaching. How can I achieve inserting multiple records (table CoachBandwidth) based on new record added into table Batch ? Is it possible to achieve using Airtable Automation or any other suggestion ?

I am new to airtable and trying to understand its functionality. My plan is to use it primarily to send and manage email communications. Does anyone know if there is functionality in airtable enough so that when someone responds to an email campaign, the status for that individual is automatically updated to report it as such? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I use an Automation to classify records that are generated from incoming emails, using string matching. The script is triggered whenever a new record enters an Airtable view. Over time, these incoming emails change, so I frequently need to make adjustments and tweaks to the classifier script as new email types are encountered that were not successfully classified in the first pass of the script. This creates a problem where by the time I’ve updated the script to accommodate some newly discovered content in a new email type, the system may have already received many tens of emails of this new type, and these will be unclassified, so I need to manually classify them. I want to find the best way to re-run the classification script over these records already in the view - ie so that every time I make a change and save an updated version of the classifier script, the script would then re-run over the records in the view and the second pass would be able to successful

I’m making a webhook automation that finds a record. When putting in the condition I want to simply find the event that matches the ID sent to the webhook but I can only insert the length none of the values they just say continue indefinitely.

I need to change this formula to ignore weekends. It is successfully calculating the next day a task should take place on based on frequency, but that frequency should add 1 or 2 days if it is on a Sunday or Saturday. Anyone know how to change my formula to account for this? Hey forum! Im trying to update a record via a sync from another base. Basically, I have two bases that are synced; one is with a customer and one is with my internal team. The customer provides the project, and it syncs to my internal base for my team to begin working on it. When its updated, I have it synced back to the customer for the updated information. I basically have a tab in the customer’s base that is our synced data; then link that information into the customers tab. What id like to do is not have to link the information coming from us; Id rather be able to update the record based on a trigger (estimate quoted, delivery date proposed, etc…) Is there an easy way to do this? I tried using the update record automation, but it seams to not work for adding that link to a specific project. thoughts?

I want to Launch an airtable webhook from the airtable button field. I was trying to pass the record ID. Is this possible and if so how?

I’m collecting name and email (and other data) from a form, entering it into Table A. Using a “new record” trigger on Table A, I want to create a new record in Table B using name and email, but only if a record doesn’t exist yet. Is this possible? I thought I could do it with the “find record” action, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to specify a following action if nothing is found.

For example, if I have a column of names plus a link: Object | Is subclass of Fork | Utensil Spoon | Frank Utensil | What I want to compute is a column that looks like this: Object | Is subclass of | *All subclasses* Fork | Utensil | Spoon | Utensil | Utensil | Kitchenware | Fork, Spoon Kitchenware | | Utensil, Fork, Spoon I’ve been running into a big load of bugs; i.e. I parse the table and add keyed {parent, kid} pairs to a list, but for some reason I’m getting a “cannot write, there are duplicate links” error. Hey All, I’m trying to run a simple automation, but for some reason it doesn’t work. I building a directory of growth hacks in an airtable base with a subject, description, category and image. There are 4 main categories (e.g. SEO, Paid Ads, Tools & Productivity). For each category I have an image (4 images). The automation I want to run is that whenever I add another growth hack (subject & description) and I assign a category to them, that the respective image will be added automatically. So “When I assign a growth hack to a category, the image belonging to that category should be added automatically to the image section”. I would to get some help on this one. Thanks in advance!

Hi Friends. I am looking for a way to have people select a time slot from a single select field when filling out a form, but then make that option unavailable to other people. When creating a form, you can choose which options are shown, but I can’t figure out how to automate changes to which options are shown. Any ideas? TYIA

Okay, SUPER SIMPLE, SUPER DUMB question - how do you create an HTTPs GET in a script automation that doesn’t wait for a response? More background - I’ve tried fetch() without await; the script still takes forever to complete and is obviously waiting for a response. If I decrease the processing at the GET endpoint, the script automation process time decreases as well. If I increase the processing time at the GET endpoint, the script automation time expands and eventually times out at 30 seconds. Is it possible that Airtable’s implementation of fetch() is simply unable to act as a non-blocking webhook caller?

What is the recommended way to deal with potentially null arrays when running a script as part of an automation? I’m setting up an automation flow that runs a script and as part of the script I’m calling record.getCellValue() which oftentimes will be null. When using the scripting block, I’ve handled this by using the nullish operator, like this: let array = record.getCellValue() ?? []; That way I always have an array, even if empty, and not null. When trying to re-create that script in an automation though, I get this error: I would’ve expected both scripting environments to have the same support. Am I missing something here? And if ?? isn’t supported, what’s the best way around it? I’m working with a lot of arrays so would like something succinct. Thanks for any help

Hi, everyone. I was testing my automation with my team and I came across an issue when I had test emails sent. For some reason, the URL sometimes gets cut off and renders the link invalid. It looks almost as if the URL is cut off for it’s length, but I’m not aware that there’s any character limit for that field type. Has anyone gotten this problem? Is it possible that I may need to switch to a different field type? Any information would be helpful, thank you!
