Posting this in case this can help anyone solve an issue or in case there is anyone who can think of how to do it better. I was asked to create a corporate event calendar that housed all 5 corporate event calendars in a single base and included 3 specific items:Enforce all event times have a time zone of PSTAllow easy All Day or Continuous All Day MeetingsCreate recurring events that can be created daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Additionally there was a caveat that one calendar type needed to include weekends while the others did notTo solve for this I created a single table called Internal Calendars and included the following fields:Event Occurrence - Single Select that allows the user to pick the type of scheduling for their event(s): All Day, Continuous All Day, Conference Event, Recurring Event and HolidayStart Day - Date field used to select the date an event will start.Start Time - Single Select that has times in 30-minute intervals.&nbsp

I am trying to use Airtable to consolidate all the ways we manage your ad inventory (we are a publisher of websites). Ideally, I would like a form where ad sales rep can enter all information when a campaign is booked, and see in a calendar view what’s available or not. Once entered, the campaign would trigger deadlines (for client to give brief; for writers to create content; for client to give final approval, etc…) and notifications and reminders would be sent. If you have experience with this kind of thing please respond here.

Airtable has just released a popup to allow cookies on all embed views making my app not usable anymore....Each time I refresh the page, the same popup is displayed !How can I get rid of this popup allowing cookie ?Thank you for your help!

I want to create a table that matches waivers (from Jotform) and money transactions (from Square) to show a client has checked in and checked out, to verify payout for the tattoo artist who worked with them. From my limited knowledge of Zapier and other programs I have used I think this is possible but I haven't used airtable before and I am trying to get something set up before the new year and the learning curve is too much for me to figure it out right now. Is something like this possible? And can anyone get it up and running for a one time cost? Thanks!

Need help with building a data base to collect building information. Basically, to create a program that uses forms to collect information regarding sites inspected such as space/room, materials that may contain environmental hazards, quantity of the material and then identify the samples collected (matching to the materials identified). Then provide reports from the data collected (on custom forms). I have started the process, but would like feedback and expertise on best practices. In addition, learning how to use airtable a bit better including, airtable database structure,  scripts and organizing data to provide table reports.I plan to do the work with support from someone who knows airtable much better than I do. Thank you.

We have a grid view generated, which shows us the percentage per column (it is a room occupancy rate).We would like to get a total occupancy rate per time period calculated. But we have no idea, how to approach it.Does anyone has an idea how to do it?

Hello 🙂I am creating a scenario in Make(Integromat) to resize images, and compress if they exceed 5MB in size.Bellow is the screenshot of the scenario I have created, but it is not working as expected.   I use HTTP to check the resized image size in MB  From here on, I am no longer sure what I did wrong, but Get multiple variables does not give me the resizes and compressed image. If the scenario received two images, one being resized and other compressed, I get two same compressed images.  I would really appreciate help.Thank you, Pjero 🙂

Hello,As a beginner on Airtable, I would like to create a database with 2 tables (at least I think so) in n:n raltion.I have an EMPLOYEES table with several items, made unique by a personnel number.I'd like to create a "training courses attended" table, knowing that :Unique criteria must be validatedEach criterion is uniquely linked to a skillEach skill is uniquely linked to a themeThe aim is to obtain a view on which I can sort the results by employee (validated criteria)or by theme or skill (list of employees who have validated an entire theme or a list of skills).The EMPLOYEE table is easy to create, but I'm stuck on the SKILLS table because of the dependencies between themes, skills and criteria.But also on the method of links to be created with the EMPLOYES table.Or am I making a mistake and needing 3 tables: THEMATICS, SKILLS and CRITERIA?Thanks for your help !Thierry

I’ve setup a number of bases where external people can use forms to submit things like updated contact information by submitting a form as many times as they like, selecting their sponsor company record name as a link field in the form each time. This creates a series of attached entries to their sponsor record. I then setup the sponsor records as a series of Rollup fields on things like “email” etc that rolls up all submitted form entries. However I only want to show people the most up-to-date entries submitted, so I made the following formula that only returns the last linked entry . The way airtable works with base titles is by default it will take the first few letters of your title and use this as the base icon if you haven't selected one of their native icons. In this case it will use the emoji instead if it is the first item in the title.How to do this?1. Go to the "Base Title"2. Go to the beginning of the title3. On Windows: Press Window Key + Full Stop (Win+.) to open the emoji menu.On Mac: crtl+cmd+space4. Type the first few letter of the emoji you want to find.5. Hi all, I've pretty much got Airtable now doing exactly what I need it to. However, the one sticking point that I have is the custom view that I have created just misaligns then attempting to print it. Which is a critical thing in our business. I tried reaching out to support but wasn't able to get any help.I have tried the few responses to questions that I found on here but it didn't seem to fix it for me. I wonder if upgrading from the free plan to the base paid plan will solve the problem? We will need to upgrade anyway but I wanted to make sure the solution worked properly before upgrading.Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello there,Recently a client approach me to build a solution that would help to reply to customer emails. The idea was to utilize the internal knowledge they had from past customer questions as well as general product knowledge specific to his business.His idea was to use https://www.pinecone.io/  as the vector database storing the embeddings for internal knowledge base. I have recently built a proof of project like that, but using a full on code approach. I have used Supabase Postgress with pg-vector extension and some custom parsing tools to text/markdown sources.Overall approach above while feasible and fun, involved a lot of code meaning the budget for implementation was also way above what my customer was able to pay. 3 weeks OpenAI releases Assistants API with data retrieval and all of sudden all complexity of dealing with embeddings is just gone.- Use Airtable to setup FAQ and all relevant internal data store- Use Make.com to load data from Airtable as a markdown

Hi Guys, Was frustrated with the lack of integration that is there currently with Airtable to Wix databases for a client. So made a solution which can be tested and checked out. I’ve used the integration features provided by Integromat, but there are certain “rules” to be followed for the integration to work. They’re all listed on the page and airtable sheet given.
