Disclaimer: self promotion Hi folks! We’re looking for users for the upcoming beta launch for Shoptable, a Shopify <> Airtable integration. Shoptable brings the power of the Airtable platform to Shopify merchants by creating a live, bidirectional sync between Airtable and Shopify. Using Airtable to run your shop means you can leverage custom tailored views, automations, and reporting tools to run your shop, all within Airtable. There are almost 2 million Shopify merchants and they all use the same Shopify Admin interface. We’re going to fix that. We are a small content site that need a way to keep track of contacts which we use to interview for article research in our writing process. On most articles we try to find an expert and interview them about the specific topic. The goal here is to keep track of people we’ve interviewed so we can reuse them and also make sure we’re not stepping on each other’s toes and emailing the same people at the same time. Right now we are tracking in various spreadsheets individually and we have to check with everyone if they have contacts or who is talking to who and when. Key Features: Contact Table - captures key contact info, tagging based on expertise, display last time we talked Interactions Table - log all the interactions we have with the contacts in above table Contacts Table: We want to maintain a good list of experts we’ve worked with over the years so we can tap them again if there is a good match for a future article. We also need an easy way for our writers to add people and ens

Hello, i need some airtable consultant who can build an automation or script with the following steps. We have a database where we add different tenders. After adding each tenders, we complete a form from where we can add products. After adding products we need an automation that add products and cost of the products in other table on a specific record.
Coming from the Salesforce world, I am used to the concept of converting a lead to an account/contact/opportunity record. I’ve been blogging about creating a CRM in Airtable and I just blogged about implementing a Lead Conversion process behind a Button field. Let me know what you think. Scott Hemmeter – 30 Sep 21 Airtable: Creating a CRM (Part 4) – Convert the Web Lead This is part of a multi-part series on creating a CRM in Airtable. In our previous posts in this series, we started our base with a data model of Organizations, Contacts, and Interactions, then fol…
Hey Airtable community, It’s time for this weeks updates at Softr. We have rolled out a number of new updates this week we would love to share with you. Timeline Block With the new timeline block you can create a slick-looking vertical list with a timeline, complete with large image tiles, title, description, tag and filtering with your Airtable base. Perfect for creating changelogs and what’s new pages, portfolios and much more. Small List Block Introducing the new list block mini. No, it’s not a new iPhone but instead, a slimmed-down version of the list block. Perfect for when you want to fit more in a row or have a large number of items to list. Editing List Block In addition to our recently released List Details block edit functionality, starting from today you can now edit List Blocks. To put it simply, it allows users of your application to update list detail records directly via your Softr application. It’s a game changer. Passwordless sign-in/sign-up Using this sign-in block, y
Hi! I’m looking for someone with strong technical skills in Airtable to help build out workspaces for a temporary placement chef staffing business. I specifically need the ability to see which employees are available for short term placements at any given date, which employees are on assignment at any given date, and the ability to automate invoicing to clients that hire our temporary employees. I have the basics in place, but I need help with the more complicated aspects of the 3 needs listed above. I would like to start on this ASAP as we currently have temporary employees staffed all over the US and need to keep track of them. Thank you!
Hi, everyone! I’m hoping to find an expert who can help me pull together my business processes for a cleaner, more efficient workspace through the use of Airtable automations, web hooks, APIs and/or Zapier & Integromat. I also use MiniExtensions for a number of my current automations. I utilize Airtable as my primary database for my app created with Adalo. I have been reading through the API documentations myself, but to be honest I don’t want to risk setting up such a crucial step incorrectly. Here are my specific needs: When a record enters an Airtable view, create a new record in Adalo, send a SendGrid email to the address in the current record. Once the above steps are successful, move the record to a separate table. I have the majority of this already set up through Zapier - however, for some reason, the record entering the view is not triggering the Zap. So I am having to trigger it manually, but need to be able to trigger it either automatically or via a button in Airtable w
I know I fell off the board lately, but it was for [I hope] a worthy cause. Data Deduplication v3.0 The third iteration of my deduplication routines for Airtable, totally rewritten, with additional features and functionality. Standard Airtable functionality Works on Free and Plus subscriptions Optional use of Pro features (record color, Blocks) Does not require 3rd-party SaaS integration Includes 3 “modules” Duplicate identification Suppression of false positives Merging of true duplicates Supports persistent tagging of false positives No need repeatedly to vet the same flagged dupes Suppressed dupes still evaluated against new records Color coding indicates past, new matches Supports real-time deduplication Each new record checked at time of data entry This version of the routines has been tested against bases as large as 25,000 records while proving to maintain an acceptable response time for duplicate detection and false positive functionality.¹ Three demonstration bas
Hello! I’m looking at airtable as a potential resource for many different projects our team completes. I have not set up a table yet and have a large google spreadsheet that I want to use for my first project which will be our trial run with airtable to see what it can do and if it’s the right fit for us. I do not want to have to be the one to set it all up and am looking for someone who can do that but who will also improve the information’s organization/presentation. I don’t want an exact replica of the spreadsheet in airtable. I have put together a bit of a video explaining what I need. I want the project price to include the design of the airtable (how it should look and operate - and I’d like to ensure a “pretty” look while being productive), set up and then training video explaining how to use the airtable. Thanks, Michelle for Cassy

I need an excellent Airbase consultant/implementer/developer to migrate my company’s hours and billing tracking system from its current implementation in Google Apps to Airbase. It is a mature system, thus the requirements and functional design are clear. It looks like this: DATA: Data is stored in multiple Google Sheets - monthly/daily work hours, per task for each employee; list of clients and hourly rates; lookup list of employees and hourly rates; aggregated and calculated monthly totals per client; aggregated and calculated totals for company across all employees-customers-years-months. Google app scripts are run to aggregate and calculate data and store in master sheets FRONT ENDS: Employee has a form that shows their list of clients and allows them to enter hours per day + comments Management uses Google Data Studio to visualize data and get reports, etc. Feel free to contact me at eli@techwriting.co.il
Hi there, looking for a german speaking consultant who helps us with some airtable stuff. Please get in touch for more info. Cheers, Sven
Note: I finally found (and finished) the quick little project I started back in March — right before all my teeth exploded. Here’s another niche application: Code to generate random[ish] unique numbers in an arbitrary range — say, from 1 to 10000[ish]. What it does Generates a unique output number for every input number within the range. The relationship between the two numbers is not immediately obvious — and is difficult (although far from impossible) to discern, even if a user manages to see several numbers output in sequence. Why you might want to do it If all you need is a unique, random identifier, you’re in luck: That’s what RECORD_ID() is.¹ The downside is that something like recdalXVhg9AkUMG9 can be unwieldy; at times you may need to generate, say, a 4- to 6-digit value that is (a) unique, (b) random, and (c) not impossible to hold easily in short-term memory. (Think of the temporary authorization codes or PINs one is sent via SMS or email when trying to vali
Hey there, We’ve recently been looking for a way to evade the limits we face with Airtable API. Now, we’re happy to share a migration tool to move Airtable data to PostgreSQL with you. All you need to do is connect your Airtable data and your Postgres database, and click “Move”. As a result, you get a flexible solution with all your Airtable data migrated. Your credentials are safe – we do not store anything. The tool is totally FREE, and you’re more than welcome to tell us what you think about it and ask any questions! We’re willing to further improve the tool based on your feedback.

We’re seeking an Airtable consultant to create a staffing tool. We’ve looked at the dedicated SaaS solutions for staffing firms and find them not flexible enough for our needs. We’ve already sketched out a set of user requirements. We are looking for a consultant to help create the tool, and then provide ongoing support over time as we will surely want to expand and improve the functionality. If you can recommend an Airtable consultant, please share their contact info or website. If you ARE an Airtable consultant with relevant experience, please share your email or a Calendly link and/or your website link so I can grab time with you.
Hi I am looking for someone who can assist with Stripe integration and setting up Monthly and Annual Subscriptions.
I tried adapting the template for “Product Catalog & Ordering” but it breaks if you need for, say, User A to buy multiples of an item. What I need to do is to track orders for multiple people of items (Jersey in Small, Jersey in Medium, Shorts in Medium, Shorts in Large, etc.) and some people may order multiples of a single item – and I need to track and pass along the unit price * number to customer purchase total. Help?
HI. My name is Stepan. I work in the field of process automation, and often use Airtable as a database for my clients. Want to start a video blog about some tricks how to make Airtable automations. I’m here to ask, what kind of integrations/automation would be the most interesting for you? Feel free to make your suggestions here. Thank you!
Indeed, views provide a very powerful way to scope and optimize access to data. However, they cannot be dynamically altered to achieve what I consider hyper-performant script processes. Here’s an example… Imagine a table (a) with a view and when a record enters that view, search another table (b) that has 45,000 records in it for a single matching key so that a linkage can be established in (a) to (b). I’m not an expert in all manners of Airtable scripting, but I think the only way to do this is to iterate across the 45000 records in table (b) to locate the record ID such that the linkage can be updated in table (a). Ironically, searching for discussions about this place me in the commentary mix here. And even then, I’m not sure I expressed the issues succinctly. Two ideas come to mind when presented with this quandary - Ideally, there should be a searchRecordsAsync() method that uses the internal search capabilities to return a record (or record collection) given a field or record
