I’ve been working on a search concept for Airtable that has kept me awake a few nights. One of the [many] problems with universal search (i.e., a search that spans multiple bases and multiple tables) is the complex types of fields and content you’ll find when the entire galaxy of data possibilities will be encountered. You have to embrace all that Airtable could ever store and in a way that is not only findable but indexable in a reliable and compressed manner. Another problem; Airtable is fun to use. Users don’t want to search in a completely disengaged web page away from their data. If you’re at all like me, you probably want your search results displayed like any other information objects are displayed in the platform you’re searching. I struggled with many aspects of an open (but secure) and easy-to-understand architecture. One of the biggest aspects of this was answering a basic question - if you had an index of all your data, where would you feel comfortable storing it? The answe
Need help reformating existing database without losing data and connecting to other bases.
I was asked recently by a client if it was possible to send people who’d booked onto an event a Calendar entry (so they don’t forget) in response to their booking. In the blog post linked below, I show how you can do this with Integromat: Send a Calendar Entry to confirm a booking There are ways to link Airtable calendars with other calendars - some covered in here - but this deals with sending a calendar entry to an outside person booking onto an event (of course the process could apply to any date/time based records). I hope people find this useful - feel free to comment on the post I you wish.
I’ve just published an article on Online Database Expert about sending VCard files from a database using Integromat: https://www.onlinedatabase.expert/post/send-a-vcard-from-a-database-with-integromat Check it out if you want to know more!
Need help with scheduling/calendars. I want to send a form to my faculty and limit the dates that they can choose from. But also if they pick a date that is already chosen it needs to notify them to pick another date… Is this possible
05|689x221 Hello! I’m trying to create a way to see the total incoming/outgoing expenses of each month, as well as incoming-outgoing, and profitability percentages. Is there a way to make some way to see those individual sums, as well as totals for year (if for example I had a full year filled with values. Thank you for your help!

Hey there! Looking for an expert to help my content team build out a production calendar using Airtable. We currently use our Airtable instance to track a fairly complex editorial calendar, and we’d like to add check boxes for each task, and then configure formulas to trigger a particular status when a box has or hasn’t been checked. We estimate that this would be a half day of work. Thanks for your interest! Margaret
All I’m looking for someone who can integrate airtable with a handful of jotform forms (through Wordpress) such that when the form is pulled up, the drop down option menu will be populated with data from airtable.
Hi! Hope all is well. I need to hire someone to build out a base for scheduling for our school based yoga and mindfulness program. We already use Airtable for almost everything, but have been scheduling programming in mindbody for years and want to switch. The basic gist is that we have about 60 school sites and 20 teachers. We send teachers to various schools to teach programs, and need to create a visually helpful master schedule of who is where when. We need views that can be seen (via link in a calendar mode) and exported (ideally as a pdf list of dates) both by teacher, and by site. We also need to see on the calendar which program is being taught - we have mat and chair based kids classes (2-6 hour schedule blocks), about 10 different professional development workshops, and some family engagement programs. Please let me know if you’re interested in working on this. Thank you! Jenn

We are looking for help to create a lookup table in Airtable. We previously used Excel but it is not user friendly online. Our invoices log: who worked, location of services, item billed, specialized items, equipment usage, ect. We use this info for reports and forecasting.
If like me you are looking how to filter data submitted by a web form and other data on the same table, I found that the best solution was to put a mandatory checked box on my webform with something like “contact me back” or “Agreed to submit form” … Like that I can filter the data submitted outside Airtable.
My company has recently started to use Airtable for an involvement tracker. We’re a nonprofit that has members linked together, and have attempted to use the OrgChart block for a sort of family tree. We’re looking to be able to print blocks and dashboards, count generations through linked records, see individual trees of people within a card, and finally the ability to see KanBan cards through email as they’re seen in Airtable. Looking to contact an expert about how these changes might be done.
For those of you that enjoy playing with Airtable’s API, I made a simple page that displays data from your base. Edit any entry and it immediately syncs with your Airtable base. I’m new to this and so am having a lot of fun with it. Hopefully someone will find it useful. Airtable Wrapper

We’re looking for a consultant with database architecture and Zapier expertise to work with us to build a system to manage applicant and participant data for internship programs. The system needs to integrate three phases of data management for our education programs: applicant data, participant data, and follow up data collected through annual surveys, which the system would also ideally deploy. We’re looking for a consultant to work with us on (1) data architecture, (2) Zapier integrations to automate emails for our application phase and our follow up phase, and (3) developing more robust reporting than is available in blocks. We need to have the application phase ready by November 2019. The other pieces can wait to be built, but the design for how they will be built should also be in place to ensure that they work with the application phase. Please email Liza at eray @…fredhutch dot org
Hi there! I’m looking for someone to work with us (a few days) to implement and develop our base, in our office in Paris. We are a cooking class start-up. There is data to push, workflows to create and adjust, and a bit of training I guess. Let me know if interested : kevin@kialatok.fr. Thanks a lot!
We’re putting a package together for a local house mover in the UK to help them get more organised. Keap Pro and Proposify would be handling the CRM and sending/signing quotes side of things. However, they currently use ACT for pricing quotes for leads. When they convert, ACT can be used to create job sheets for each deal that is won. I would like to explore the feasibility of using Airtable to replicate what ACT is doing for them, as well as integrating Airtable with Keap Pro. I’m new to Airtable, so I would like to speak to someone to whom I can explain a bit more about what is needed and get an honest opinion about its feasibility and if it is, what kind of cost we’d be talking about. Please email me at andrew.mcewan@andwedothis.com if this is something that you’re confident of being able to help with. Thanks for your time. Andrew
