Hi Folks, We have set up AirTable to track client engagements and want to do two things: First, attach Gmail emails to tasks in Airtable. Right now we don’t see a Chrome extension that makes this possible the way SmartSheet or Trello does this A lower priority is to automate emails out to clients with next steps when a current task is complete. Tieing Gmail emails to an Airtable task seems like a need that many Airtable customers will have. Thanks for your help! Abe…
I’m looking for someone who can help me get my Airtable set up for a logistics application. We order containers of materials from Asia. We need to track the orders that hve been placed and track what is recieved. I have a project brief and sample data. I have tried to set up on my own but it has been decades since I did any DB development. I need somone who can get this setup quickly and correctly for me. You can email me at aarcis@zoho.com if you like. Thank you
We currently use Google Docs and an array of other platforms to manage our applicant tracking, compliance and staffing operations and I’m convinced Airtable would be a better option however I don’t currently have the time to research and test it on my own. I am looking for some help from someone or a small firm who has built out several similar projects that could cut through a lot of the learning curve I would experience. Please email me so we can setup a time to discuss or let me know how to contact you. Thanks, McNair
Hi there, My organization is implementing a cross-departmental marketing strategy and I am looking for consulting help to help me with set up as well as show we the best way to: Connect/associate records (especially in calendar view) The best way to organize data from different plans/strategies so it can be viewed both as a unique plan, but also layered together with other data The easiest way to chop and change the filters and tags to view different cross-cuts of data Most of all, I’m concerned about getting set up correctly from the beginning as this is an essential tool for our marketing activities. If you’re interested please email me: grubens@tides.org Please include a little about yourself, your experience, and contact details of a reference. Thanks! Georgie
I am the volunteer technology guy advising a non-profit in building and organizing their data with Airtable. Initial needs are in contact management and keeping in touch with various segments of these contacts (for example, donors, governmental office holders, local business owners/managers and newsletter subscribers). Future needs involve gathering, recording and cataloging oral histories and historic images of a specific geographic area in North Carolina. I’m at the budgeting stage now and am seeking guidance as to what I should recommend to this non-profit Board of Directors for Airtable design, build and future consulting services. Bob
Hello. I have an Airtable with a lot of data. An example of it is here: Airtable Airtable: Organize anything you can imagine Airtable works like a spreadsheet but gives you the power of a database to organize anything. Sign up for free. In the table I have an Employee Name, contact info (for reference), and the important data: Shift, Project, and Scheduled Days (in multiple records) along with a Default Skill. In a second tab I have a Project Planner. In this I would like to have the Schedule automatically fill out the best it can, based upon: Scheduled Day Shift (Day or Night) Project Default Skill This way, I can sort the project planner, and easily be able to tell what my team is going to be in on what days, and easily see any blank spots I need to fill. My ultimate goal is for when I add new items to the master list of employees, they’ll automatically be added to the planner. If there’s overflow, I don’t know if there’s a wa
Hi there! I think Airtable is incredible and would LOVE to be able to use it for a project we (Camphill Association of North America) are working on. We need an application portal and contact database that can function like a simple ATS and CRM. It’s overall a fairly simple kind of thing, except we have 16 different locations that each need separate access. And I really want to be able to use the Kanban board to automate some of the workflow by triggering actions like sending emails and updating records in the database. We also want to have some kind of 2-way email integration/sync as part of the CRM so that all emails with an applicant is automatically stored with their record. And we have a long application that requires a secure login for applicants so they can trust their information is safe but also so that they can save what they’ve done and return to it later to complete. If this is possible with Airtable, likely with some Zapier integrations and maybe a wordpress plugin, and
Hi, I’m learning to use the new Maps block and would like to be able to add a track from a GPX file to my Map block. Is this possible? Thanks!
Hi All Looking at Airtable I’ve fast learned this is the tool for us however I also realised to get everything out of it that I need/want will require a lot of my time or a lot less of an experts time. As such I am looking for assistance in working with our base to help with a Sourcing and manufacturing process that processes orders as well as inventory management and some cool reporting. I have sent a few days getting the skeleton together but have a lot of things that need help with - it may need a complete overhaul. Essentially looking for somebody to work with me over a long period to fine tune and get the most out of Airtable fitting in with our processes. I am Australian based so preferably somebody close to my timezone but not essential. I understand this is vague so contact me at ashley@admarketing.com.au for further info.
In a recent reply to a post in Support, I set out a step-by-step process to create a table intended to drive an Airtable Chart Block bargraph, based upon the multi-record calculation routines I described earlier. In this case, the routines are not used to access values across multiple records; instead, they drive the population of a third table, allowing for the date and value from the previous X number of entries to be charted. At each new record from the [Main] table is added, the Xth value is dropped, the remaining values are moved up one position each, and the current day and value displayed as the most recent. Aside from linking each newly added [Main] record to [Calc] — a task that adds two mouseclicks to the record creation process and that may easily be automated using Zapier or equivalent middleware — once implemented, the routine should require no additional maintenance for nearly twenty years. Again, the reply describing the steps needed to implement the chart is here; the i
Hi. I run a specific service on Steemit.com that I am currently doing manually. Would like to automate at least one part so I am looking for someone who can create the integration between Airtable and Steemit to satisfy my needs. If successful it could lead to a future project with more Steemit integration.
I am the manager of a club of hobbyists. I am looking for someone to help me setup a base incorporating: Roster of members with key contact details Easy way to send forms to members asking for RSVPs to various club events Allow members to edit their RSVP status Overtime we can grow the features I’m aslo hoping to use this as a learning opportunity. I am willing to pay competitive rates to get started. Thomas
Hello, I need an AirTable consultant to help me create a solution (on AirTable) that enables my data partners to upload and publish their data for distribution on my platform (outside AirTable). Requirements: Partner can upload new or overwrite data. Partner data updates are validated in real-time against my data model. Partner can manage a mapping to data model separately so they don’t have to change their source spreadsheet prior to upload. AirTable automatically links each entity to a matching entity in my lookup table. AirTable highlights unlinked rows in the partner data with a warning (not error) Partners can publish data updates. AirTable should automatically manage snapshots. AirTable triggers web hook that automatically received data updates or triggers automatic download data using the AirTable API. I will be responsible for setting up the web hook or data syncing process on my end. I am able to provision and manage multiple partners accounts from a single company account.
Let me first say, I know this is quite simple for many people AND there is documentation explaining how to do what I am trying to achieve… I still can’t do it. Its like me writing ‘help documentation’ on how to shoot a 3 point shot with Lebron in your face :slightly_smiling_face: Use case: Airtable is my database for my company (Restoration company) Also using it as a CRM Need(s) Building formulas with nested conditions for 2 use cases Vehicle maintenance -We enter mileage at a fuel stop 100,000 -Next stop is 100,500 -Then 101,00 and so on… I would like to add the incremental difference up 5k…at which point the threshold would be crossed and then a record can populate in a new view… this would trigger “oil change”. I can build zaps from there to my other platforms. CRM I want to track the #of days in between phone calls to target clients. so March 1 is a call. I want to start a timer that will say after x days something will populate in another field… like before above, this c
Hello, I’m posting from an Academy-Award nominated production company that is in need of an Airtable consultant to review and perfect our submission database template and workflow. We’ve already created a document detailing our ideal workflow but need help implementing it. This will require integration and familiarity with Zapier/IFTTT or other programs used to automate workflow. If you are interested in learning more about our needs/what we’ve already created, please comment or me send a message. Thank you. Dara
I work for a consulting company called Optimi. In our work, we’ve seen plenty of folks (especially small businesses) who don’t have the financial information they need when they’re making critical decisions. Here’s how we used Airtable to solve this problem: Medium – 26 Mar 18 Showcase: how we use Airtable to enable financial decision making Hi! Rupert here from Optimi, writing again about our work with Enspiral Dev Academy (see previous blog post here). Enspiral Dev Academy is… Reading time: 5 min read Would love to hear any comments or feedback on this story :slightly_smiling_face:
Hello! i’m looking for someone that can help me build out airtable, for our custom screen printing shop. I’m currently looking to use Zapier to push a notification from our invoicing software to airtable, whenever there is a new project. So let’s say we have a new custom apparel project. That would get pushed to our custom apparel base. We’d like that to create a line item where it notates the following, in the first static field: Invoice - Project Name When expanding the box, we’d like there to be different fields that would allow us to type information for this project, for each department (i’m imagining this info would be displayed on linked tables). So we could put information in each field, for the staff in that particular department to work on. Staff could then filter what they are seeing on their table, to only show the work for their department, where management could get an overview of everything. Breaking it down as follows: -Artwork -Screens -Inks -Garments As one department
Looking for a pro front end dev that can create some great UI to simplify some data entry into our Airtable… We have a fairly robust Airtable base but just need a better way to show reports and create forms. Contact me for more information. -Alfred
I love the idea of Airtable, but I’m confused. Can someone help me set up my custom tables for my floral design and event planning business? I’ve tried a few tables that I can share with you. I know what I want, but just too slow working out how to set it all up. Please email me hello@dragonflyfloraldesign.com.au if youre able to help and let me know your fees!
Hi! A little while ago, I pulled information from a baker’s dozen rankings of episodes from the first four seasons of Black Mirror, Charlie Brooker’s dystopian look at technology and society, produced originally by Channel 4 and later by Netflix. I had been amused by there being general critical consensus as to the series’ high quality but absolutely no agreement as to the merit of individual episodes. I thought by gathering the data into one base and subjecting them to various analyses I might be able to identify trends or commonalities not apparent at first glance. Nope: They don’t exist — or, if they do, they are still too subtle for my ham-handed processes to identify. Accordingly, I followed the time-honored tradition of less-than-scrupulous researchers everywhere: If the data are inconclusive, change the goals. I had been looking for a project with which to test Airtables new Blocks feature, still in beta test at the time. If I couldn’t use Airtable to identify previously hidden

I just found Airtable and I think it could probably really help us. We own and manage apartment communities and have additional locations where we’re doing development, retail or other activities. We currently track all of our location information (IS needs) like address, WAN Subnet, ISP circuits and so on. We have several ugly Excel Spreadsheets keeping track of all of this plus static IP addresses for multiple internet circuits across 50 or so locations. I’d like some help develop a working structure to replace this and enhance our ability to quickly access information. Thanks.
We are trying to map our building addresses via google maps, I am not a developer and have no idea how to program API’s/ make them talk to each other. Would greatly appreciate any help!!
I just don’t have the time to figure this thing out. I’ve already spent way more time than I should have and I just can’t get it to work, and I’m done. I need something that will list all my customers, their orders, and the items they order. I want to click on a customer and see what items they have ordered. I want to click on items and see who has ordered them. I also want to automatically add records based on an email receipt I receive of their order. I want a form that customers fill out that will tell me things like size, favorite style, color, print, etc. And it would be easy to see everyone that likes the color purple and is a size small, or looking for a camo print. And an “Action Item” - if I need to remember to send a customer something, or that a customer is paying me on Tuesday for the hamburger bought today. Ideally it would have a view that would have all the Action Items I’ve got going (right now they are all in my brain, and I need them out of there) on, and as they
Is it possible to pass variables from a webpage of mine to my base view it so that airtable is “prefiltered” for the user according to how they on the webpage? I imagine something like a drop down menu on the website where people can filter and search for specific rows in the airtable view that they get sent to. Thanks!
