Currently the only options for date range of a Gantt chart is week, 2 weeks, month, quarter, year, 5 years. I think it would be better to have a custom option where you can put the duration you want (with an option to choose, weeks, months or years) and give it a start date. The gantt charts I've been making have been for a period of 1.5 years so 1 year doesn't fit it all and then 5 years makes everything super small. It's too large of a gap.

I would like email fields in forms to be validated to look like an email, please.

When in the timeline view, I often need to change start and end times on a record by 5 or 10 minutes at a time rather than 1 hour or 30 minute increments. It would be extremely helpful if i could drag the edge of a record more precisely than the 1 hour increments that are currently allowed rather than having to manually type in the time.  Also, it would be nice to be able to zoom in and out of the timeline using the mouse scroll wheel and have more precision on how much time is seen at once, rather than being limited to the standard day or week view.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Hide the large image/space in an interface when no records match a view's filters. Currently when there are no records, it actually takes up much more visual space than if there is one matching record. How does is solve the user problems?Hiding or condensing this visual would make it much easier for users/clients/readers to scroll a page quickly and see relevant information

The old interface layout allowed you to have 2 colors to pick from for the background. The new interface is only light grey. It would be very helpful to be able to have several background colors to pick from to distinguish key areas. It would be nice to be able to adjust fonts, bold, italic, etc. 

 Although it can be created with a lot of formulas and columns, it would be great if there was a filter to conditionally select the view of a linked record, based on a previous selection on the form. E.g: I have a list of countries and they have all been assigned to a Region. In that table I can create the views for each of the regions tho have the subset of countries, then, in the form I can have a dropdown for region, and, depending on the region selected, I would be able to map the views that should be used for the Countries dropdown. This would be a very easy and scalable way to create dynamic dropdowns in forms.Who is the target audience?Enterprise and everyone else

What is the proposed idea/solution?When using a bar chart, when a date field is selected as the X-axis, there should be an option to not only list all the dates for a record, but to think of that axis as a timeline, where all dates are represented not just ones that exist in a record.How does is solve the user problems?I want to track usage of an asset over time. The Y axis is usage in hours, the X axis is a date, the records contain a field for date and a single time for hours. There are many days when the asset is not used. I would like those blank days to be reflected in X-axis; I do not want to work around that would have a record for every day, records only exist for days where there is usage.How was this validated?...Who is the target audience?Users who have date fields whose records do not contain all of the dates in a given time period, who would like a true timeline view but for data that varies over time where a time

Really. We need a form or an addition to the current form that allows for editing a current record as opposed to only being able to add a new record. I should be able to send a client a form that they can find their record in and update their data and not have it create a completely new record. Please. I hate that I've had to resort to paying another company in order to do this. 

I need a way to schedule interfaces to be sent periodically as an email. Our automations are being used up for sending weekly reports. This is removing the ability to replace manual business practices with efficient automations. Ideally, I'd like a feature to send email reports out from interfaces periodically to specific users and/or user groups.  

One of the most basic and best things I learned about Airtable is how to use " \n " to get the line breaks in a formula result. That makes it easy to format text in columns without need use gimmicks. Excel uses ALT+Enter and this one doesn’t work in AirTable. I suggest Airtable takes the input “ALT+Enter” on the keyboard and translates it into " \n ". That way more users benefit who may otherwise not know there is such a thing in Airtable.If I may take this a step further, perhaps adding formatting options would be neat. For example by adding /b for bold text in formula output. I know this is stretching airtable far beyond what it is expected to do, but here are some marketing folks using Airtable so it may be useful.Airtable Support

What is the proposed idea/solution?When fields are placed on an interface page, allow it to display a comparison, such as 'x% greater,' to the summary for that field with defined filters (min, max, median, average, etc.). Having a small visual indicator like an up or down arrow would also be helpful for glanceability. How does it solve the user problems?When creating record review pages, it would be useful to show how a record compares to others. In particular, for project tracking, it would be helpful to see if, for example, time to completion was 75% faster than the average for other projects in the table, or spend was 60% higher. It's also helpful for ICs to see how their work compares to other similar projects.Who is the target audience?Project managers, people managers, and individual contributors

To whom it may concern,An enhancement suggestion from Kalypso: The recent capability launched for "Conditional number color formatting in Interface Design" which allows conditional formatting of Number elements (See pic), is only enabled for pre-configured interfaces. Number elements in "Blank" interfaces, either existing or new, do not have the conditional number coloring function.Expected Benefits: Ability to benefit from conditional formatting in "Blank" interface layouts. Not sure it this has been mentioned already however it would be immensely useful as we regularly need to “share” emails into Airtable records and it would be so much easier than a copy and paste.

This is quickly becoming one of my largest “needs” as I have created work a rounds for many of my other feature requests and just (as of yet) been unable to find a reliable, single step, process for sharing content as an attachment to Airtable. This ranges from needing to Share e-mails, e-mail attachments, etc without needing to first download them into Google Drive or similar and then open Airtable and attach manually. Having to save in multiple places creates multiple steps as well as causes me to have to have the files saved in multiple places and is just messy. Especially since, fundamentally, Airtable is meant to be my organizational utility. Is this something that is even on the Roadmap currently?

I'd like to request that Interfaces get the same sharing options the rest of the base gets - specifically the ability to share publicly without someone having to have an account/base access to see it. If you can do this in a base, you should be able to do it in the Interface, which is theoretically designed for sharing.This is a feature I've seen numerous people request - just adding my voice to it. It would transform our workflow, and currently, this is the only thing Smartsheet has on Airtable in my mind. I can't convince the rest of our team to transition to Airtable if we don't have this feature.

It would be nice if, when I have multiple tables open across multiple browser tabs, I could tell where I need to go.

Currently when writing in right to left languages (Hebrew, Arabic etc.) the text is shown pretty poorly when the text includes English or punctuation marks.
