I love the new views bar.I help a lot of folks with Airtable and this bar has made a big difference to them understanding their workflow and the system.I had no idea people were so upset by it, but know that it’s elegant, beautiful and helpful for NEW users.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 tablet running Windows 10, I tried airtable on it and the scroll bars don’t work, can this be fixed ir is there a setting I need to tweak, be very very nice to have this working, Regards Andrew

I have a feature request - to be able to have variable weight of font within a text box. This would allow me to have something likeFirst Name: {First Name}Within the block. I use a mixture of static text and field variables and I would like to differentiate so the text flows nicely on the page and not have to move multiple pieces of information to make a page flow properly.Thanks!

When doing a lot of data entry in grid view, we often want to create another new record as soon as we’re done typing in all the field information for our current record.So the challenge is to quickly get back to the very first field again for our new record that we’re about to create. And ideally, without our hands ever leaving the keyboard.Currently, we have to hit COMMAND + LEFT ARROW on our keyboards to jump us all the way back to the first field again.This actually isn’t terrible, but it’s kind of unintuitive & a little bit of extra work for users to remember the keyboard shortcut and then execute on it.Ideally, once we’re in the very last field for a record, we would simply hit the TAB key one more time on our keyboard to cycle back around to the first field again. Then, we’re immediately ready to create our new record (by hitting shift-return), and we can immediately start typing in the first field!But cu

It would be great if AirTable allowed us to set the text formatting for a column to - let’s say UPPER CASE when we configure the column. So all entries made in that column would automatically be turned into UPPER CASE. That would be similar to the phone numer formatting, only I’d like to be able to have options in the configuration window - let’s say set it to UPPER CASE, TITLE CASE or FREE FORM. This would ensure formatting consistency among collaborators. I personally find Upper Case Entries easier to read - especially for the Name column. We can’t always count on other people to be consistent when it comes to these things. Please keep up the excellent work! AirTable is amazing! And it’s getting better and better.

I want to be able to use the (amazing) Kanban view to prioritize tasks, and share those task priorities with people. The filter and share view features, which already exist, are so clutch for this.It’s almost exactly what I want already! I want to be able to see the order that I put Kanban entries in when looking at the Grid view.

The way display Chine File/Folder Name of the File Picker is frustration. It converts all Chinese characters to Mandarin pronunciation. Definitely slow down productivity. Why designing the file picker in this way and not showing the Chinese characters directly? I haven’t seen any other app doing this way!

I’m creating a dashboard of different chart blocks that I want to be able to share with others in my organization. I know there’s a beta feature for sharing an individual block (in this case, one chart), but if I want to share a dashboard (a set of charts) with someone, is there a way to do that? This feels like an important feature to be able to use and I’m not sure how to do it or if it’s possible. Thanks!

It shouldn’t be difficult to create recurring records (tasks) for Airtable. I know using Zapier isn’t rocket science but there should be an easier way.Please create a block that allows management of recurring tasks.Since many people use Airtable for their project/task manager there would be a huge advantage for the community.There are probably dozens of things Airtable users could use this block for but at the top of the listHope this gains traction.

Feature request - Other applications allow combining AND and OR filters as a basic feature. If we have to create a formula in a particular order, why can’t you give us the ability to combine filters in a particular order. This is a basic need to return accurate results.

Currently if a formula field will return only a date or a number, Airtable will have formatting options for that formula field. However, if the formula will return a string or might return a string, or might return anything other than a date/number, there are no formatting options.Sometimes I write a formula so that it will usually output a date or number, but will return a string if an error condition is met. For example, a formula might calculate the number of days between two dates (a number) but output a string if the end date is before the begin date.This product suggestion has multiple parts to deal with these situations:Allow formulas to output errors which are distinct from the calculated value. For example, if a formula calculates a negative number, but negative numbers are not allowed from a business logic point of view, have the formula report an error that would be recognized as an error, not just another value. When table define linked itself, it should be organized like a tree. For instance, Place table: Fields: name, upper China, Shanghai, China Pudong, Shanghai Beijing, China Tree View is very user friendly when users want to choose a place. Is there a Tree View?

Having left Airtable a while ago I thought I would check back in to see if they had implemented these two features yet? Sharing between bases has been requested from long before I even knew about Airtable, I think the dinosaurs were around when that first got requested, any news? Will it happen? Do they still ignore requests? Another request was for using regex in formulas, any news on this?

This would solve many issues with ‘New’ records disappearing in Kanban Views (because they don’t meet a Filter requirement).Would also make Airtable a fierce task management tool (finally!)

I’d find it quite useful to be able to embed and/or link to individual records. Ideally, this would be without sharing an entire table.

The discussion feature with Airtable is seriously lacking in many ways. If this experience could be improved to align with other organization apps, this would help us as an agency drive more people to use the system. I’d like to be able to create fields that cache data the moment its condition is met. The cached data should be continuously displayed until additional, optional conditions are met. For example, another user was trying to cache dates when a checkbox was toggled. Could they just use a ‘date modified’ field? Sure - but that’s fairly limiting. Is there a way I can have separate logins to my Airtable account. My two employers don’t want a cross over which has occurred when my second employer invited me to airtable.

I think it would be nice to have the option to hyperlink with different text showing, like any basic HTML hyperlinking. Like I can even do in this forum if I needed to. Visually, having the url just there isn’t appealing.

There should be a simple way to rearrange Multiple Select Items for a record. Currently, it only seems to be possible if you have 4 or more items, as you can then click “…see more” and then rearrange them by dragging them. But if you have less than 4 items, it doesn’t seem to be possible to drag them around. This feature would be good, because the order the Items are listed is in the order of which they were created, which many times can be arbitrary. Sorting all records by a Multiple Select field for instance, does not rearrange all items following the first (primary one) in a logical order.
