I have a table that is populated by a form where volunteers sign up for a specific event. Those events are shown in a field that is linked to another table that contains the events. My problem is that, in the shared form, the only field that appears in the grid is the 1st column, which does not contain enough information. I want to see more fields in that grid. Hello, I have created a form to schedule meetings with our company. However, I have noticed that when someone from another time zone picks a time for a meeting using the “Date/time” field, Airtable schedules this meeting in this person’s time zone. For example, if someone in London picks the time 10:00 am, the meeting will be at 10:00 am their time (3:00 am CST). Is there a way to have this “Date/time” field to only stick with Central time no matter where the person is located? For this particular case, the meeting will be 10:00 am CST, not 10:00 am London.

I have a table that looks like this… CompanyName, CompanyID, AttributeA, AttributeB, Phase1Start, Phase1End, Phase2Start, Phase2End In other words, 1 row per company, with lots of start/end date columns for multiple phases of a large project. I now want to plot those phases with some kind of timeline view but am struggling to achieve this with Timeline or Gantt. Calendar view at least allows me to specify multiple input dates per row, but the view isn’t really appropriate for managing a project. I can see one potential solution which is to create multiple rows in my data per company and then group the various rows by company in my timeline. But I really want to avoid doing this and dramatically messing up the structure of my initial base. Has anyone else successfully plotted multiple phases of a project for a given row with a timeline view? Or even any other view that works well on project management? Thanks for any thought!

I have a button field that runs a script, that calls an external API, and then updates a field in the record. Is there anyway to stop the extension dashboard containing the script from opening (even partially) when the script is run? I really don’t need my users wondering what’s going on (or poking around for that matter). :slightly_smiling_face: Thanks!

Hello Is there a way to replace all spaces with “-” in a cell? I synced a cell with my website and what ever I put in to the cell in airtable becomes the webpage slug. So I can’t put a space in a slug. Any solutions for this?

I am trying to figure out how to get my script to run under the 30 second limit. The Find Records automation doesn’t handle a list and I am trying to loop through a short list of Google Event attendees to see if they exist in a Contacts table. If they exist, I want to add the Contact name to an array. If they don’t, I want to create a new record and then add them to the array by Name. Hello all, I am trying to put together a customer base that pulls in information from multiple bases. I have several archived sales data bases, so a base for 2020 sales data, 2021 sales data, etc. Let’s say I have a customer “John Doe” that has multiple orders in each base. I’ve got a CUSTOMERS table in each base that summarizes number of orders, total revenue, etc. Can I create a “Master” customer base so that when I sync from multiple sources it tries to find an existing record with that primary key before creating a new record? When I try it is creating a new record for “John Doe” for each source instead of placing each sources information into the existing record. So if I’m sycing three years of customer information, I have three John Doe records instead of all of that info in one record.

We have an Enterprise level account and are trying to implement a date field which will track the date that a status is changed in another field. This is all good on a move-forward basis, but we would also like to update it historically, which is proving to be trickier. With our enterprise account, we have 3 years of revision history, but it seems like the only way to access what we need is to open up every single record, scroll through until we find the action we’re wanting to track, and then approximate based off of Airtable’s generic date timeframes when that action was performed. Once we’re out of the 1 month timeframe, this goes to month by month and then year by year approximations, when what we’re really looking for is exact dates. Is there a better way to do this? I don’t see an access point in the scripting API to see record history. Our Enterprise audit logs only go back 6 months, and don’t offer this level of granularity. Right now I have some interfaces on a base. 1st on is a form that will only be available to certain users (senders). Depending of 1 of the decisions that this sender made, the answers of this form should be only available to a specific user (accepters) to deny or approve it. 2nd one is a interface that will only be available to a certain accepter depending on a dropdown answer that the sender filled. My question is if there is a way to give permission to certain airtable users to use an interface. I’ve been trying to find a way of doing this but can’t find any way. I was tring to modify a formula DATEADD({Start Date},13,‘days’) to find the end of the month but since months have differing amounts of days I wasn’t sure how I could do that. Bascially, I want the formula look at the start date and then output the last date in that month. So a start of 9/1/22 would equal 9/31/22, etc. Thanks in advance!

Hello! Recently one of our bases started sending out emails to everyone when I change something (add a new view, change a automation etc). I would like to stop this because most of the people inside of the base don’t understand most of airtables more “advanced” systems, which causes them to get confused about it. Hi all, I have inventory for our plant shop already in Airtable. From a Gallery view of this inventory, I would like to use the url of each individual card to generate a QR code for our pricing labels that customers can scan and get just that specific card view without having to sign up or log into Airtable. I don’t want them to be able to edit anything, just view the specific card. (These cards have plant care instructions for each plant.) Is this possible?

Hey All, I’m curious how often Airtable actually rolls out updates? I know it’s a smaller company, but it seems like several of the “product requests” that have been posted many times, are now several years stale. Anyone have any insight if we’re likely to see these features added? How often are they adding features & rolling out updates? The specific features that are bugging me today are: Multi-page Page Designer Customization of forms (section headers, better layout options, etc) Obviously everyone has different needs, and I’m sure the AT team is doing what they can. I’m just curious about their process. I ask for two reasons: I really like the basic product here, but if it doesn’t continue to grow, I can do all of these things in other, cheaper products. Hi! Please I need help understanding how to filter linked records when populating a record in a table. I have a table with some groups of professionals, like Group 1, Group 2 and so on. In another table, I have some themes, which will be the subject of some classes. In the class table, I would like to allocate at a specific date and time, a group and specify the topic that will be presented to them. I would like to present as options only the groups that have not yet had all the themes. And, after choosing the group, present only the themes that the chosen group has not yet had. How can I provide this kind of filter using linked records? Thank you very much in advance.

Hey I’m coming from spreadsheets and wanted to start using Airtable, but the first thing I noticed was that I couldn’t use shift+scroll to navigate horizontally. My friend doesn’t have this issue on his Mac, but I’ve found dozens of other people with the same issue as far back as 2017 but no one has shared a solution. Any insight on the cause of this bug/how to fix it? I can’t use this if basic navigation is broken. (Using Chrome on Windows 10)

I managed to automatically get the name, website, ratings, etc. The only element I do not manage to get is the phone number. From what I found on Google, it seems possible (some tools offer that), but hard to do (people mention they needed to a xpath). Has anyone managed to get the phone number on Google Maps? Hi! I run a recruitment business and I currently have a table for ‘Jobseeker sign ups’ and ‘Open Projects’. When I get a new ‘Open Project’, I send an HTML email to notify jobseekers about the project. Apart from referencing the jobseeker’s Name and Surname in the HTML code, the rest of the information about the ‘Open Project’ is hard coded. I wanted to know whether there is a way to include data about the ‘Open Project’ in the email HTML even though the Sendgrid block is set to send emails to a view in the ‘Jobseeker sign ups’ table. Ideally when I get an open project, I would like to generate an email template containing the information from the fields that exist in the Open Project table, so I can notify the jobseekers about the details of this Open Project. Hi there, I want to keep different people and their statements/quotes on different topics. My idea was to create a table with all the people and their general data and then for each topic open a separate table with all the people and their quotes and statements. I was looking for a way to synchronize the first column of one table with the first column of another table, but I only found ways to link other columns. I also want that if I have 100 people in my first table and I open a table for a new topic, that I have the possibility to automatically add all 100 records with all people (just their names). Hi guys, I created a list of ‘user IDs’ on airtable. Using Telegram bot I would like that when a person types /takeID the bot searches through Search Record in my list and issues a negative or positive response. Can you tell me where I have gone wrong?
