The start day of our week is Sunday and closes on Saturday. However, when I tried using the datetime format it has a different week number compared to ISO week. I have different week numbers for the same date when I used the datetime format for the local and iso format. For example, if I have the date Apr 6, 2022: DATETIME_FORMAT(Date, "W") // result would be 14 DATETIME_FORMAT(Date, "w") // result would be 15 We want to have 14 as the result of the week number but the first formula starts with Monday instead of Sunday. Is there any way how to do it?

Hey everyone, hoping someone can save the day. I’m trying to calculate the month to month and YTD spending for each of our contractors. I’ve calculated the workdays (holidays excluded) from start date and I have their hourly and daily pay rates. My issue is varying contract end dates. Some contracts have ended already and some end dates are blank because they’re still active/current. How can I get an accurate calculation for billing per month & year?

I want to swap the Carrier column (with all data) with the Pickup Date (with all data) column. Is there a solution? The Carrier column is the primary field.

Hello! Here is what I am dealing with: I have a table of clients and each has an acronym (KET for example) I also have a table of projects, with multiple projects linked to a client. I want to have a project code for each project. This is made up of the client acronym, year of the project, and a project number. The issue I am trying to solve is generating the project number automatically for each project. For example: KET-2021-01 is the first project from KET in 2021, KET-2021-02 would be the second The 01, and 02 are unique with regard to the client, but not overall. We can have another client with 01, 02, etc. I have not been successful in using auto-numbering as I want to be able to have repeat project numbers, i.e. TFN-2021-01 uses 01 again but for another client. Can I do this via a formula? Would this require an automation? I am new to that, so help is appreciated. Hello, I am working with a simple CRM system. We have calls, emails, meetings, etc. that we log. We also log events and I’m trying to work with historical data to fill in some entries. I have numerous completed events and I have uploaded the contact lists. I have my interactions linked to contacts, but I am wondering how do I upload a list of people who all attended the same event and have it link to their contact record?

When I filter a view, I have to type out what I’m filtering for. However, my field Referral actually holds linked records to other tables. In this case, it links to Employees. Sometimes, we make typo’s when filtering, and as a result, our view shows inaccurate results. Currently, I type out the employee name partially, however some employees share similar names. Is there any way to select Linked Records as my condition when I filter?

HI, I have an Airtable in which each row has a datetime. Is there a way to generate individual ical or ics files for each row?

We need to plan and follow up our teams on a weekly basis. Or we do it with start-end dates (but then we need multiple lines for the same person) Or we create a column for every week (see screenshot). Not the best database-design, but it works for now. also for creating totals… it’s quite challenging (W01+W02+…W52) Are there better solutions to tackle this ?

Hi I would like to add advanced graphs to my base using the vega-lite app. However, it looks like the app doens’t support all features from vega-lite. For example, I’m unable to use parameters create grouped bar chart I tried using example code from the vega-lite app, see below. But the result it different. On the website I get a chart with the bar located next to each other. Hi folks, I am new to Airtable and encounter a problem when I upload date & month from Excel file to Airtable, the order of date & month reversed in the Airtable. Anyone has experienced the same or have solution for this? Because apparently it affects my automation related with trigger number of days in Airtable. Thanks!

I want to create a template for an event (or editorial) calendar where Day Zero is the date of the event/launch etc, and all tasks are relative to that target date. i.e. 10 days prior to launch or Day 10 or etc. How can I do this?

Hi there, As I am pretty new to Airtable and have an understanding of the usual primary / secondary keys concept but having a bit of issues with understanding the way Airtable organizes the linked data. I have contacted Airtable support for help about 5 days ago but have yet to hear from them. In the meantime, I thought I’d try my luck here hoping someone can point to me where I may have gone wrong. Best to do an illustration as follows: I have a transaction type table A with activities and including fields like city and timezone. The latter should be derived from a Timezone Master table B for every city in the world. I have tried various combinations ,for example creating a linked record on city and tried to create a lookup on both city and timezone down to various iterations and instead getting more fields created and never being able to get the desired result. Airtable Community! I have two nearly identical calendars that are displaying markedly different default months - one current, one two months back - on loading a private share link, even though they have the same share setup and content that should have them both defaulting to the current day and month. The calendars are my “Insertion Calendar” and Clippings Calendar". The former shows a matching record each time we have an advertisement placed in a trade periodical, and the latter just shows records where we have an attachment or ‘clipping’ of the ad that ran (so ‘not empty’ for that attachment field) Let’s call the calendars A and B. They are based on the same table. A has matching records appearing on all days from 2/27 through the future, B has a filtered subset of those records and there are matches scattered from 2/27 through today. I have a database of sorts for insurance purposes. I have a tab for items, and then a separate tab for receipts. I also have a bunch of other tabs that are not needing to be shared. How can I share just the two tabs? I know I can share the entire base, but I don’t want to do that. Thanks.

I’m trying to import text from a CRM that contains formatting like the below. <'div>note taken during conversation. ‘&nbsp’;</'div> Right now, Airtable CSV import prints the html tags as part of the note. Is there a way to have the rich text feature work on imported data? I realize Airtable may not support all the formatting but trying to get the basics to work. I haven’t found a way and curious if there is a utility or process to facilitate this process. Thanks. Kyle

I have a question regarding the upcoming change to Attachments within bases on Airtable (the annoucement email that just came out a few days ago). I am especially concerned about the expiring URLs and am not sure if this will impact my business. Right now, I use Airtable to create a weekly availability for flowers. I share a link to each week’s table via email and customers have a 7 day window to place orders. My weekly availability includes photos in the Attachment column. These photos are either uploaded directly from my computer or uploaded as screenshots. The change that is coming in November, does this mean after a few hours my customers won’t be able to view the photos in my shared Grid View of my weekly availability? If this means my customers will lose access to my photos a few hours after I send them my weekly email, then how do I go about “fixing” this before it becomes a problem?

I am a Business Development Office for a credit union and the majority of my time is spent in the field. Upon completion of my meeting with a client, i go into the Performance Summary section in AirTable, on my phone, and key in the highlights of our conversation. In a lot, maybe 25%, of instances, this information will not be saved. I am not certain if this is a WiFi issue as I am in some rural areas on occasion. Has anyone experienced this issue? In reading through some posts it’s my understanding there is no “Save” button and entries will be automatically saved upon exit. That has not been the case for me in quite a few instances. Please let me know if this experience has happened and what you did to resolve. Your help is greatly appreciated. James

I have a simple question that I cannot solve. I am looking to convert some existing Excel Forms. I would like to create a dropdown list that has about 10 different options. I do not see a way to create the dropdown list other than having to add them all one by one. Any way to create this dropdown list with a simple paste of all the values. For Example I have a column Fruit - I would like to single select 10 different Fruits Apples, Pears etc ,. I already have my list built and have several different list to build. If I have to do them all one by one that would take hours.

I have a table where I have lots of columns, but two in particular: Primary column = article title (text) secondary column = hyperlinked articles (multi-select) The hyperlinked articles are a multi-select built with the list of all available article titles. My question is: I want to add another column that counts the number of times “Article A” appears in all the multi-select arrays. And repeat this calculation for every row, Article B, Article C, etc. How do I do this?
