I intend to use Airtable and Zapier to automatically schedule social media tasks. Every day Zapier schedule checks a Primary key [Date] column in Airtable. If today’s date equals the date in the Airtable column then do some stuff… However, I keep receiving a “Record not found” message. I construct a date in the Zapier search field that matches the date format in Airtable. For example Zapier search value = 2019-08-05 In Airtable a primary key date column with the value 2019-08-05 I have confirmed the date format is yyyy-mm-dd in Zapier by hardcoding search string: 2019-08-05 against a text column in airtable and the format is yyyy-mm-dd. Then reviewing the successful output of the record in Zapier. I’m not sure if there is a specific date format beneath the covers I need to know about. Hey there, so I have the issue that I have users in one table (I) and referrers in another (II). Now I want to the referrer`s count (table II) of referrals to increase every time a user enters his refer-ID (Table I). From what I gather this should work through linking refer-ID in Table I to table II through “Link to another record” but it deletes all of the records existing in it so far instead. Is there no way to simply count in one table how often a respective ID from another table shows up? Thanks a lot for your help

Hello friends, I’m trying to work out if it’s possible to create unique (per record) embedded views of a table on Stacker via some formula wizardry, rather than having to manually create a filtered view for each record. To that end, I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to put URL filters into the embed code for a shared view - and if so, how I would write this? Kind regards, Matt

When I expand a record in a table I can see that the expanded record order is the same as the table. However, if I expand that record in another table, for example when using a task system, that order is not the same. How can I switch that order to match that of the original?

In the Hello world tutorial (Airtable Blocks SDK), I have been trying to look for the frontend/index.js file unsuccessfully… I am working in a Linux environment but cannot figure out where the file is…is it in the node_modules/@airtable file ? How are the fields in the expanded record ordered? Can I reorder them? (I know how to hide them, but I’d like to reorder). I’d like to order them based on how our users feel entering data makes the most sense (which is not how the base I inherited is ordered). Thanks!

Hello, I have table B which acts as a delivery data base showing all deliveries to have occurred. I have table A with each row representing a client and a URL field within the row for a form which populates a delivery into table B (this forms is from table B). When the form link is clicked from the client record in Table A we then need to choose what client the form is being submitted for through a linked record. This is an issue because there is room for error. Is it possible to repopulate the form with the client name from Table A - I cannot find a way so any help would be appreciated.

I have problem with automation where a trigger is new arrived order and the values which do not show in email triggered by new order arrival. I’m brand new to Airtable and use a Macbook. I somehow moved a column over to the Primary position when I was trying to swipe between windows and now I can’t change the Primary column back. Any suggestions as to how to reset the Primary column. I have tried to copy the column and delete the existing primary column, but the delete option is greyed out. Thanks in advance!

Let’s say I have a list of Artist / Track / Link and I want to store it in Airtable. I know that would be easy with a 3 column table in some base. But let’s say I wanted to add notes to some of the rows. For example, for some rows I might want to add extra information about the track. This would be for some rows but not all rows. I know I could use a table with 4 columns, like this: Track | Artist | Link | Notes But if most of the Notes fields are going to be empty that seems like an odd/inefficient way to do this. What is the best way to do this? Thanks much.

Hi, I’ve been stuck with this for almost 2 days now and have exhausted all experimentation and research. Looking for any help I can get. I have a field in Airtable called @EventRegistration, which is a linked reference field but allows linking to multiple records from another table. In Integromat I’m using the Update record module for Airtable and what I want to do is that each time a new form response is submitted, I want to add an item , i.e. append a new linked reference item. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find a way to do this. With each run, Integromat simply updates the original linked record when instead I want to keep appending to this multi-reference linked field dynamically. I cannot predict how many items will be added. I just want items to be appended when my scenario is triggered but instead Integromat overwrites this field with the latest value from the current run.

Hi, I am wondering how null cell values are structured in query results. For example, when I iterate over the query results from a selectRecordsAsync() function, e.g. with a .forEach(map(x => {...})) function, when I hit a null value, the script errors. It’s easy enough to skip over these null values by wrapping the functionality in condiional e.g. if (x !== null) {...} but how do the arrays containing the query results represent the null values? Are the null values empty objects, or empty array indexes? Hi I am working on a database that control a fuel tank. Every record show the input or output of litres that is done on the tank. I have done a form to quick access and entry data. But i would like to add on that form a field that show the real amount of litres on the tank

Does anyone know if the Unique ID can be configured when creating a synced table to Salesforce (with the AirTable ‘out-of-the-box’ connector)? The table Primary Field can be set, which I presumed should be the unique field within the Salesforce report for future syncs. However, when I select to set the primary field to be a custom column from the Salesforce report (which should be unique), then run the sync, I get an error that there are duplicate Opportunity values (which is not the field I set as the Primary field in sync configuration settings, and is not the unique column in the SFDC report). Curious if anyone else has hit this issue?

We paid until 10/31/21. What’s the best way to transfer ownership for a team when a staff person leaves? For example: When I login as my co-worker who’s leaving and try to change the owner, his email and the credit card to my email address where I don’t have an Airtable account, I see this error, “invalid password,” though it’s his password. Or should I: login to my account and request to have access to all his files according to his settings? create a new account under an email that goes to our team instead of individual staff? Should I get an invoice for a year for Pro ($240) under my account or his? How do I request one? Thanks for anything you can do by 10/31!

Hi there, complete newbie here :wave: I am working on a new base to follow up on comments left on our social media channels by different users. One field includes the username of the person who commented, and other fields will contain the comment, date of the comment, our reply, follow up by customer support etc. I would like to add a field next to the username where I can see if the person has already left a comment before - for example, by marking “yes” or a checkbox emoji :white_check_mark: in that field if the username can be found more than once in the base. Is there a way to do that? :eyes:

Our Airtable tracks the progress of legal documents through client submission, business team review, legal team review, client review, then completed. We want accurate reporting on the cumulative number of days that a document sits in each status. The challenge is that our process is NOT linear - documents may go to legal team review status, then to client review status, then back to legal team review for a few more days. We can’t anticipate how much back & forth will take place, so we can’t iron out the process to be linear with additional status columns. When we use automations to timestamp each status change using the Last Modified Time field and the DATETIMEDIFF formula, we get incorrect data, since a second move to legal team review status, for example, will overwrite the first date(s) that the record was in legal team review.
