Hello, I’m trying to create a map that show every stadiums in a district. I installed, and configured the MAP, without worries. I created a column with the GPS coordinates of all the stadiums. The problem is that the map only shows half of the stadiums. All the GPS addresses are good, double checked, and in the same format. Anyone would know why map refuses to show half of the stadiums ? Greetings, I am using the Gannt app, would like to set up a project table in which the records build upon each other according to dependencies; e.g.: Start date of record 2 is based on end of record 1. End date of record 2 is based on start date + duration. Then start date of record 3 is based on end date of record 2, etc. I have succeeded in getting the end date for a single record to calculate based on start date + duration. However, I am stumped in trying to get the start date for the next record to react to end date from a previous record. My thought was to use my dependency column, but using a formula such as “WORKDAY({Name (from Dependency)}, {Duration}” gives me an error “Can’t save field because it causes a circular reference”. Any ideas for a solution? Many Thanks! Tommy

Is there an easy way to pull the data from a specific field in a related table? So far, it doesn’t seem so. Let’s say I want to use a dollar value from an assets table and use it in a another table to add the amount to another asset? Or say to look up an amount balance in an accounts table so when I purchase an item I can subtract that amount in a purchases table? Ideally the amounts would be calculated/updated in their original tables. It seems I can only access the name of the table in the related record. Thanks for any thoughts.

When one person had entered the data, the other person cannot see the information in the same colume on his own screen while collaboration is any solution ?

Hi! I have a table called “Initiatives” - each “Initiative” has a multi-select for 50 states. I would like to generate a new row in a table called “Tasks” for each state selected for an Initiative. Example: INITIATIVES TABLE Row 1: Initiative A | NY, NJ, PA TASKS TABLE Row 1: Initiative A - NY Row 2: Initiative B - NJ Row 3: Initiative C - PA Is this possible? I’ve tried using Automations but unfortunately I need to be able to do this for up to 50 states, and the limit of 25 Automations prevents that. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Hoping someone can help me with a best practice for the following scenario. I use Integromat for a lot of my business’ automation and I am happy to use it if it’s the best way. I have a multiple select field that contains currency per time — Example: “$5/month”"$200/year" “$12/month”"$116/year" “$9/month”"$89/year""$300/year" Most records have two values, some have three values. I’m trying to split these multiple-choice entries into different fields and have them be currency fields so I can look at averages, etc. Any suggestions?

Hi all. I was wondering, is there a script or formula that would allow me to configure the Airtable calendar so that when a user selects an option, it highlights dates that are acceptable for that selection? For instance: Single Select options: Bronx Manhattan Staten Island Brooklyn Queens Outside NY When Bronx is selected, only Mondays are available on the calendar When Staten Island is selected, only Tuesdays and Thursdays are available on the calendar When Brooklyn is selected, only Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are available Etc… If this isn’t possible, are there any free options that can help me? I would like it to be interactive, for example if a location is clicked it will pull up the Airtable data for that location. Thank you!

Hi there, Merry Christmas all! I’m very new to Airtable and all databases in fact! I’ve linked Airtable up to Jotform to collect information about customers when they complete an online survey. This information is likely to include a couple (perhaps more) of different segments. Let’s say; personal details and basic financial information. I’m trying to figure out a way to segment this within Airtable but still keep in the same record for transfer to Google sheets. I’m trying to avoid having a huge number of columns across one “tab” (excuse my use of spreadsheeet terminology) Is there a way I can create a second tab and store this information there but ensure that “row” 1 of each tab is linked to the same person. So when I look to link the data collected up with CRM & Sheets it knows this. A follow up to this would be that after this initial data is collected I would the like to go on and send a second (more detailed) financial questionnaire to customers. This might require a 3rd “t

What Airtable functions can I use to create fields that allow you to select from a list of records, but only allow you to select records that haven’t been selected by other fields on the same Table? Use: I am a meeting planner. I would like to input the names of meeting rooms that are available. I would like to be able to assign a meeting room to a record. In order to not double-book a meeting room, I would only like rooms that have not already been selected (booked) to be selectable options within a record. My initial thinking is that I would create a Table, wherein each meeting room has its own record and that those records are referenced from another table as selectable. Perhaps a second table and links are not appropriate and it is better to create some sort of single select or multi select fields. I have problem that image attachments are not uploading from iPhone or iPad. It used to work but not anymore. Not from iPhone or iPad. But when I go Mac OS X, with the same Airtable account and to the same base, it works just fine. When trying to upload on iOS GUI just shows “Uploading 1 attachment …” after submit button but nothing happens. And attachment is never stored to the base. What’s wrong with iOS uploading? Anyone having same problem? How I can fix this?

I mistakenly linked my google drive from the wrong google drive account, and I want to link a different google drive account instead. However, Airtable won’t let me enter new google drive account information. When I go to account settings and toggle the switch that says “Link your Airtable account to Google Drive. You’ll be able to create and open Airtable bases from Google Drive”, it keeps logging back into the wrong account instead of letting me enter new google drive account information. How do I clear the google drive account information from Airtable, so that I can enter different google drive account information? Thank you for your help.

I want to use Airtable API to upload images into attachment field. I have created public file storage (Minio), images have public access. I send URL of image to Airtable API in PATCH request. Example PATCH body: { "fields": { "Name": "randomName", "Images": [ --- Attachment field in Airtable { "url": "https://someUrl:9000/attachments/J/IMAGE/upload_tmpfile_1608952265638459111199810539557_01a.jpg" } ] } } Response looks good but image is never downloaded from Minio to Airtable API. Minio use self signed cert and IP (no domain name). What is wrong?

I’m locking make a public database. Is there a way to lock a row’s data once it is entered? But not have the entire field be locked. The idea is that it would be a database of contacts where each contact will enter their own information and be able to see everyone else’s (but we want to lock all previous fields except the one you are entering)

Sorry for the newbie question, if I have the same four tasks repeated daily and I need the totals for those noting respectively, do I need four separate tables to monitor date and total or is there a way to have all four tasks on one table? The end goal is be able to monitor task totals over week/month.

I’m trying to use Dropbox as intermediary file system to get PDF attachments from Gmail into Airtable, using Integromat. Have had a long struggle trying to use GDrive as the intermediary system, which unfortunately does not work reliably. With Dropbox as stepping-stone, it seems I can reliably get a file into Airtable (hurray!) but the file lands as application/binary rather than application/pdf which causes other problems for me - Airtable does not generate thumbnail image, and some of my downstream automations do not work because they think the filetype is wrong. All these files have .pdf in file name, and Dropbox does correctly recognise these files as PDF in its native interface. How can I make Airtable know that these file attachments are PDFs?

Hi Airtable Community, Could someone please help me out, I have two columns, one that is Start time and one is Stop Time, they both have dates and times. I use a formula to get me the total hours between the dates and times. The only issue is, some projects that have start end time of 1/12/2020 10:10 till 2/12/2020 15:30 will give me total hours but I only need it to calculate during working hours which is 7 Hours and not give me a total of hours which include when the employee is not working. Is there any formula that can take in account to only calculate total hours during work hours? I am using this formula for total hours between the two dates. IF({Stop Time},DATETIME_DIFF({Stop Time},{Start Time},"")/3600) Thank you all for any help that can be provided.
