Hi! Does anyone know the appropriate way to getting a form header to automatically resize depending on the device being used? Or which dimensions I should be using when I create the header for it to look OK on all sized devices? I currently have an image (that includes words) for the header of a form and while it looks great on a laptop, pulling it up on a mobile device cuts the image awkwardly. Any help much appreciated. I want to be able to link a simple google sheet to a table in Airtable using Integromat so that i can have outside users update, delete, and create records via the google sheet. I started by using the Integromat template for creating and updating aritabel via google sheets and all I can get it to do is create one record and then it uses all the other rows to update the one row it created instead of making new rows. I know this should be very easy but I can’t seem to locate the issue of why it won’t give me more than one record. I’ve uploaded screenshots of the google sheet setup and the airtable set up along with the integromat. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m wondering if it’s possible at all to have air table auto create dates with time slots at for example like 30 min or 1 hour intervals for appointments. I thought of maybe doing this with the scripting block but i cannot find anything anywhere on writing the code for this. I’m hoping to autocreate essentially a calendar full of open appointment slots 30 or 60 days ahead and have it constant

We have a few Airtable forms embedded onto our Wordpress website and they have worked great until recently. In the last week or two, all of the forms are taking on a ton of extra space at the bottom of the form - just blank white space that at least doubles the length of the form embed. I tried repasting the code, but the same thing happens. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I’ve got a calendar view in my base for which I’m using an ical subscription link to have it show up in my calendar app. For some reason, when I look in my calendar app, every single event has the character “:” added to the end the event name. (For example, “Meeting with Marcy:” instead of “Meeting with Marcy”.) There is no colon in the event names in the airtable calendar. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

(I’m pretty sure the answer to this question is going to be “that’s just the way it is”, but I’m gonna ask anyway.) Is there a way to Group records on a field WITHOUT the Group also sorting on that field? I already have a sort I like (by Date) and a pretty “group header” field that spells out the month (e.g. “July 2020”) that I would like to group on so that the groups each show that field. However, when I Group on the field, it also sorts (alpha) on that field, screwing up the sort. Why isn’t Group just group? It should be named “Group and Sort” if it’s going to do both. :slightly_frowning_face: Or at least make the sorting an option that can be turned off. Example: If I have the following data: 1 A 2 A 3 C 4 C 5 A 6 B And I Sort on Number and Group on Letter, I’d like to have: 1 A 2 A 3 C 4 C 5 A 6 B That is, form a new group when the letter changes WITHOUT sorting on the letter itself. Is there a way to omit a column from being filtered while on the same view? For example, one of our PM’s likes to turn a filter on based on install dates, but when he turns it on, it changes the order of every column. Can we just use that filter on a specific column? Or would a new view need to be created to do that? Thanks for your help.

I would like to share a base to several “commenters” that need to be unknown to each other. At the moment, seems like a commenter can see the emails of the other commenters to whom I have shared the base with. I would like that a commenter wasn’t able to see the others. Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks

I’m struggling a bit with linked records and getting the required data for them. Let’s assume that I have a contacts table that list different contacts by a contact ID. I have another table that I record every communication I do with a contact. The fields are: contact ID (same ID as in the contacts table), date, type, remarks, etc… Now, since there are various communications with each contact, there are many rows (or records) with the same contact ID, one for each communication. I want to add a field in the contacts table that would show the latest communication date for that contact. I couldn’t find any way to do that. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a lot.

Sorry I do search the help topics honestly - why is that I cannot see blocks - it is in a base that has been shared with me, the lady who has shared it is a pro user, I am a pro user, we work for the same organisation collaborating on the same base but because it’s showing as a shared base rather than in my pro workspace I cannot see the blocks :frowning: - any ideas? Coincidently when I share a base with her she can see the blocks whereas I just get an option to upgrade

Newbie question - I have a total of 2981 records across 4 tables (2840 + 123 + 3 + 15) in my workspace. 2 of these tables 2840 and 123 are linked through certain columns. My usage shows 5734 records. What is causing the count to almost double up? :thinking: Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Hello. Our team has a problem with unexpected debits due to the creation of too many billable collaborators. That is, we created three users without realising they would be billable. We need only the one billable user on our PRO plan. One of the debits is a strange amount not related to the published rates for the plan. We have cancelled all our Airtable users and have been forced to continue development under the FREE plan. We understand that there is a pro rata refund available in this situation, but what we seem to have been given is a promise of a reduction in future fees. This would not be suitable. But we cannot know anything for sure until we get into some sort of dialogue with Airtable. However, our office manager has sent a request, via the in-app form, for assistance with this problem three times over the last two months and received NO REPLY from Airtable. I’m having an issue with the “new record in a view” trigger for Zapier. I have records that will be moving in and out of several views based on user activity. The same record may enter or exit a view several times, but I want the Zap to trigger each time. However, a certain record can only trigger the Zap for a specific view once. If it exits that view and reenters, it will not trigger the Zap a second time. Zapier explained that this is due to Airtable not supporting webhooks. I was wondering, has anyone else found a workaround for this?

I’ve been using Airtable for several years with no problem. But in the last month or so, when I’m viewing my bases and I scroll up and down, the scrolling is super glitchy. It will either slow waaaay down or freeze completely. When it freezes, once it starts functioning properly, it will shoot me up/down really rapidly. I usually filter as Posts by Platform, but even if I filter it differently, I still have the same prob. I’m not having scrolling issues with anything else on my computer, so it can’t be a mouse battery issue or anything like that. Thoughts?

I’ve populated all the required field in a particular view. It’s now supposed to automatically go to a different view but it’s not. I’ve tried refreshing the screen and still doesn’t move.

The Sharing Views feature just stopped working. I’ve consistently shared view of Kanban Tables and embedded them on my website for the past couple of years. Yesterday, clicking the "Embed this view on your site started taking me to an Airtable page with the following message… Sorry, the page you were looking for was not found. Return home or get some help. This is a critical feature for my business, and I’m unable to contact Airtable by telephone, and have to wait up to 72 hours to get my business back up and running??? Not saying the problem is Airtable’s fault, but you guys need a better support model if you want to keep my business. Love the product, but losing confidence in your ability to communicate with the customer.

Hello! I work for a university and have made a gallery view of research resources to be displayed on our department website. I only want a few sections displayed on the cards, however I want more sections displayed when someone clicks on a card. I also do not want everything to show when someone clicks on the card; just a few other sections that are not displayed on the card itself. When selecting sections to show and hide, this also applies to when you select the card and I am trying to customize the views on both the card and when you select it. Is this possible? And can someone help me figure this out? Thank you in advance!

I’m having trouble re-ordering table tabs when I have a lot of tables. Scenario: Create base with ~20 tables Use > to view the last set of tabs Try to re-order any of the last set of tabs to show up on the first set of tabs. ** Drag the tab all the way to the left so it is the first tab that appears. Note that dragging it over the < does not scroll the tabs. ** Use < to navigate to the first set of tabs. The tab you are trying to re-order scrolls off the right and is not visible to continue dragging I think the < > tab scroll controls should have at least one tab of overlap to avoid this problem, or that the tabs should scroll when dragging a tab off the end. As a workaround, I tinker with the window size until I can move the tab incrementally until it shows up on the first set of tabs. Any easier workarounds?

I have a base with many tables. I’d like the interface to be buttons that if one clicks on a button a filtered list (in kanban form) will display. Can this be done within Airtable?
