Today I am unable to add new rows to my base table on my free account. I get a pop up screen saying i need to upgrade to have more than 5 collaborators. I only have four defined.  Does anyone else have this issue or know what i need to do to get round it?

I have outlined and organized my novel in Airtable. It's a beautiful, perfect system for this. But I want to do one more radical step: actually write the novel. I need a basic text editor window bigger than the one currently supplied for "long text" fields. Are there any extensions or solutions out there? Or hey airtable people, can we get a text editor extension? Please?

Can someone help me figuring out how I can copy all the options in a single select (my example has 5 options, but assume a have a sigle select with 1000 options), and paste it in another table, as a regular text field? i need this because I want to create a db with all those options, and use link record.. as this info is in many of my forms, and get updated regularly , thanks!

I thought the AI search could be a potential game changer, however they don't want to switch it on before they have an idea about cost.We've been trawling the Airtable AI and billing section, but so far haven't found where it says how much credits the search functionality takes. Does anyone know?

Hi everyone, I'm building a personell planning Module where you have your Project and you can assign workers to the project for certain time periods. The basic Idea/Tables behind is: 1. Projects: All info about the project. Start & end Date coming from "timeslots"2. Timeslots: Can be either a project or work term. Work terms are linked to projects. I then set up a timeline view and see my project and am able to plan out work terms beneath it (grouped by project, sub grouped by type). This is all nice and well. However there is one fundamental Problem: If I group by Project, sorting by date suddently does not have any effect anymore. Ideally I want to have the current projects at the top and the further down i go, the further they are in the future. But like this I have lots of projects inbetween that only start sometime in the future. Is there any way I can so

Probably a niche use case but wondering anyone can think of a way to make this happen.I'm trying to use airtable to organize some wire and cable take-off quantities and routing for a large scale construction project. The main entities (tables) are wire/cable, conduit, and pull/junction boxes. The boxes are like the nodes, the conduit link nodes together, and the wire runs through the conduit and boxes from an origin box to a terminal box. There may be many levels of branching. Possible that there is some spider-webbing as opposed to just straight branching but not positive yet (rare if so).I have the table setup so that there is a record of conduits, with an "origin" and "destination field each linking to the table of pullboxes. This link defines the end points, or nodes, of the conduit IE Conduit #1 goes from Pullbox A to Pullbox B. Hi,I have a table called Launch Calander that I link records from other tables like Email task, Website tasks and Digital & Print tasks.The lookup fields for all the other records show fine in the Launch Calander except for Email.I've tried deleting the linked record for email and starting over by creating it again from within the Launch Calander, then creating Lookup Fields and making sure they are linked to the Email Linked Record. Yet, nothing shows up. 

I've used Airtable for several years and have a workspace with approximately 80 bases.  Prior to one of the "upgrades", I had organized my bases in a way that was easy for me to find which base I was looking for and that made sense to me.  Now that the workspaces are sorted by opened by you, alpha, or last modified, it is very time consuming to find the particular base that I am looking for.  The "upgrade" may have been great for many people, but it was horrible for me.I have looked and can't seem to find a way to manually sort my bases so that they stick.  I suspect that this is no longer an option for me.Does anyone have an answer?I tried to contact support, but it has been several weeks and the only communication that I received from them was asking if I had received an answer yet.  Of course, I had not, because no one had answered. Thanks! 

I need to be able to export a airtable views from the mobile app. Do I have any options?-It doesn't appear that there is any functionality for this currently in the app- It doesn't appear possible with automations- There doesn't appear to be any extentions that do this- There are third party apps, but as a small charity we can't really justify paying for one for this use

Im trying to set up a BOM (Bill Of Materials), but i have thousands ind different categories and subcategories. I though it could use the use the new dynamic filtering in the the link fields, but as there a many seperate sub categories depending on the material it ends up being quite messy.So I thought I maybe can rig something up in a script extention to have the user run through a bunch of questions to filter out all the irrelevant records to finally be asked to choose from a narrowed down list (as if the user would be choosing records from filtered view). Is this possible with the script extention?

I am aware it's possible using Zapier/Make/n8n/BuildshipApp etc, but this is all external apps, too much work to configure. Google Gemini has a very generous free API plan and I would be keen on getting it to work but I have no programming experience. Wondering if anybody figured out a way.

I have 3 tables: plants, fertilizers, and schedule. In the schedule I set on a date certain fertilizers and plants. And also it has field "done" - planned or done.So I want a calendar view for each plant where I can see when and what fertilizer I have used.Could you please help, How can I do this? Hello - I am new here and trying to create a base for following cash flows in my various accounts, cash or petty cash.Thanks to sources I found here, I succeeded to create deposit and withdrawal through two tables, one for accounts and one for transactions, and a rollup structure to calculate the balances of each account under the deposit/withdrawal transactions. However my concern is related to "transfer" transactions between accounts. When it is a "transfer" transaction, I want the rollup to subtract the amount value from the transferring account and add the amount value to the receiving account. I mean, when the number of accounts and the rollup transactions becomes two, I cannot find a practical (or sophisticated! 🙂 ) solution for such purpose, so that;(a) I select the "transfer" as the transaction type;(b) I enter the amount of the transaction;(c) I select the From and To accounts separately;(d) The amount becomes withdrawal for first

Hello - I am trying to get a total count field if student's have passed multiple tests. There are six fields representing each test. Within each multi select field the contents contain: Drop downs for fields:  Pass 4/5/24, Pass 4/17/24, Fail 4/5/24, Fail 4/17/24.  I want to use a multi-select tool so if/when they retake the test, I can note which date they passed or failed. Fields:Test 1 Test 2 Test 3 Test 4 Test 5 Test 6 I would like another column to say, if the fields contain pass, then count it as one. If a student passes 4 out of 6 of the tests, I would like the column to have the total = 4. I am stuck combining the multiple fields. To any formula ninjas, A column has multiple keywords/values. I need to add a pre-fix before each of the values. From: column: Colour values: White, Black, Blue To: add the prefix “Colour_” to each one of the values in the colour values: Colour_White, Colour_Black, Colour_Blue I created another column with the prefix Colour_, and then a basic concat, but the result is (of course): Colour_White, Black, Blue I don’t know how to add the prefix to each of the values individually, and if concat is the right formula. Detail: not all columns will have a value, so need to consider an empty cell. If anyone has a good idea… much appreciate it ! Christie

Hi, I’m looking for a way to collaborate with a partner on a specific view on my table - but I don’t want to give them access to the whole table/other views and my entire base. I know that there is a “share view” button but that doesn’t let my partner put their own notes in. Am I missing something?

I'm trying to use curly brackets to insert field content into a text box, but it shows up as "Course Name: {Course Name}" on the designed page instead of inserting information from the Course Name field. How can I make Page Designer recognize that that's a field name?

I was thinking If this is possible. what if we keep our email user the same but just change the billing? Like, we could have our user account email as user.account@gmail.com, and for billing, we could use billing.account@gmail.com. What do you think?

Hi… I’m looking for a scripting solution that lets me auto-populate a field with a parent and child relationship. Eg - Column 1 has the children Column 2 has the parent of the child I’m wondering if I can write a script that can populate a new column with the tree hierarchy like this - wco:WC Interface → wco:Area → wco:Block → wco:Image Card → wco:Hero Image Card I have looked at a solution posted by joao_melo which works. But i’m wondering if this is doable in a script?
