Considering and In Development pages are empty. Have these pages been migrated or is the team no longer publishing updates to Product Ideas? https://community.airtable.com/t5/product-ideas/idb-p/productideas/status-key/investigatinghttps://community.airtable.com/t5/product-ideas/idb-p/productideas/status-key/accepted
It seems like I have a simple question but so far I have been unable to solve this. All I would like to do is pass the current wordpress user display name to Airtable via a form. I can see how to prefill a field with a fixed field but I can’t figure out the syntax to pass the current wp user data to Airtable. Is this possible? Thanks
Hey, dear community: does anyone know, how to comment the same thing on multiple records with one action. I used to copy-paste the comment on those records, but it’s too much work. Wondering if there is a fast solution. We can certainly select multiple records, but not sure how to do next. Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:
It seems like the "filter records to a view" doesn't function on the mobile app.Am I missing something? Is there a way to make it work? In our context, it's quite a major workflow issue.
hello, my name is Nabila. I have a small catering business. right now I already build a database that contains: table of menu table of ingredients menu - ingredients junction table (with the details of ingredients ratio for every menu) table of supplier ingredients - supplier junction table production schedule for every menu here is my problems: I want to create a table that summarize my shopping list in a certain date, to a certain supplier… but I don’t know how can I make a table that automatically preview my ingredients need (what kind of ingredients, and how many that I need) in a certain date of menu production, based on my schedule of menu and my menu-ingredients junction table… thank you in advance, :slightly_smiling_face: I wish you all the best
Well, I’m new to Airtable and have been stuck in this dillema: I created a table called Recipes (where I log ingredients and other info), and another one called Ingredients (Where I keep average prices, and quantity on stock), so I can keep up with my groceries. I want to calculate how much will I spend for each recipe, so I can calculate the average dish price. Is there a way that I can put a value for each ingredient in the recipe (like, 1kg of meat, and 0,3kg of onions ), so I keep my inventory updated? Below it’s some screenshots of what I’ve got so far… Thx!
Hi, I’m developing an automated Order/Recipe/Stocking/Shopping List Manager in Airtable, and I am having sobre trouble with my shopping list. I want to have the values of the quantity of ingredients I need to buy accordingly to the recipes. I already have the ingredients by quantity in each order (second column) and by recipe (third column), but they come in arrays, and cannot reach how much I have to buy (fifth column [#ERROR!]). There’s an easier way to make this, or at least, an way to multiply the values of the array with other array, so I can reach the quantity of ingredients?
Looking to be able to have a field that auto-copies (added to clipboard) when I click on the cell. Saving me the CTRL+C keyboard shortcut.Possible? Maybe with scripting / extensions?
You fellas at Airtable seem to have a good support system. Are you using Airtable to help manage this? I run IT for a small business and am looking for ways to integrate support/ticketing with Airtable. Any suggestions?
Hi Airtable users, a few hours ago the performance of one of my bases started degrading. For the last two hours, tables/views stopped loading records and API calls are partly timing out, too. This affects all users, across different browsers, devices and locations. Other bases than the main production are not affected.I cannot detect any unusual behavior, but might be looking in the wrong place. Has anyone encountered services failing before and can offer any advice on how to address the situation, identify and fix the situation? Any clues would be appreciated. Thanks!
Our Airtable base collects information about our program. Two of the tables track people and the programs that people are registered for. For more unchanging information--like name, email, or date of birth--we have fields on the people table. However, for information that can change from year to year--like city, job title, or phone number-- we collect it on the program registration table. In the past, we set up our base so the most recent records for a given person in the program registration table would update lookup fields in the people table, so the people table would display the most recent city, job title, phone number, etc. This system has worked well for us, but we are running into an issue where if the most recent record in the program registration table contains blank fields that correspond with people table lookups, then those people table lookup fields will also be blank. We would like to figure out a solution where the most recent pieces of information are still being
Ok so this is a weird one, about three days ago, I paid to upgrade to teams on my airtable account. I have a $0 balance invoice and the money was charged to the card. Today, I've logged in and my account still appears as a free user? I don't understand why this is happening and am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?
Hi all, What do you find the easiest to connect (and scale) Airtable to when it comes to reporting/dashboards, Power BI or Tableau? I realise there are no connectors for either through Zapier but have seen some workarounds for both tools. Any thoughts or suggestions? Regards, Tom.
I’m currently Zapier > Google Sheets > Tableau … Looking for Zapier > Airtable > Tableau Equiv … any ideas? Thanks in advance …
Help! I am using the Project Management template and in the broad view on Projects I can reorganize the projects into whatever order I want them in. However, when I get down into the Project and Project detail base (in List view), the only way I see to reorganize them is by sorting and that limits me to A-Z and Z-A. Is there a way to move around the projects in list view that I am not seeing?
Hi, I'm getting this error each time I try to open a form (any form) from a button in my interface : "Sorry, your request conflicted with another change".Anyone else getting this ?
Hi, I'm new here and I'd like to access a previous post I put up with a question, does anyone know where i can find this? Thanks
Looking for ideas on how to open an Airtable form with a checkbox trigger. I'd like to avoid using google forms. I've tried using javascript with no success. window.open(URL, '_blank');Any other ideas? Seems awkward that you can open google forms with a trigger and not Airtable forms.
Hello,I am trying to create a "grouped bar chart (multiple measure with repeat)" (example). No matter what I try, I continue to get a "Property xOffset is not allowed" error and the chart won't render. At first it kind of produces a stacked chart (but even then, I don't think it is correctly visualizing the data). Then when I make a minor edit to the code, I get the xOffset error. Here is a test base with data and the vega-lite extension: https://airtable.com/appYMp2wIMhSqMTjt/shr1a3hegi7HrSVgaHere is the code:{"$schema": "https://vega.github.io/schema/vega-lite/v4.json","title": "Streaming Video Comparison","repeat": {"layer": ["Searches", "Full Text Views"]},"spec": {"width": 500,"height": 250,"mark": "bar","encoding": {"x": {"field": "Database","type": "nominal"},"y": {"aggregate": "sum","field": {"repeat": "layer"},"type": "quantitative","title": "Searches & Full Text Views: Total # "},"color": {"datum": {"repeat": "layer"},"type": "nominal"},"xOffset": {"datum":
Hi! Our team is exploring what is available to use to have Airtable base data push to Excel spreadsheets automatically so we can do some reporting that is not supported in Airtable. Any advice or recommendations on tools or solutions would be much appreciated. Thank you!
I have a question about Grouping… I understand how to Group a grid view. I am doing so by a Multi-Select field, called “Topic”. The problem (which is one of preference) is that some of my items have more than one Topic assigned. The way Grouping works, it shows distinct groups for combinations of Topic, eg. Not only a Group showing items with a “Red” Topic, but also a Group for items with “Red”, “Green” AND “Blue” Topics. I’m curious if I could force a Group to show all the items with the corresponding Topic. It is confusing to see this many Group combinations thanks to Multi-Select.
I want to create a conditional rollup field that only calcualtes the sum of values that are marked as Completed (so there’s a column with a checkbox - I only want to calcualte the totals if the row has that checkbox selected with a tick) - Makes sense? How do I do that? I know I can do that in Excel right? Can I do it in AirTable?
When importing a CSV with a multi-select column, Airtable will always detect commas as a separator and make tags from it. But in my case the tags contain commas I don’t want to have as a separator. Do you know any workaround to either avoid thos specific commas to be detected as a separator, or change the separator character ? Thanks !
Y’all! I need help with reporting. I NEED to be able to pull from multiple tables. Our database is almost entirely qualitative (we are tracking progress on a large health improvement plan). currently it appears I can only pull from one table at a time. OR good reporting app that integrates directly with Airtable? Tableau doesn’t integrate directly so I lose all the relationships I built between each data table. I’ve built a great database with no way to report out what is in it!..
