What is the proposed idea/solution? When seeing a change in a field of a record in the activities feed it would be very helpful to be able to click on that and jump to the field. How does is solve the user problems? Because the information is truncated, being able to jump to a field with full data will make it easier to collect and make that information actionable. Hello! The search bar in the "Data" section of Airtable should not only function as a search tool but also as a filter, similar to how it is already possible in interface tables. Users could access relevant records faster without having to switch between filters that don't consider all records and cannot be deactivated. Not having to set up the filters again each time would save a significant amount of time. Currently, when creating a table, users are prompted with the "What should each record be called?" dropdown menu.  There are many options available but not one for every use case out there.  It would be nice if when the user selected "other" they got a chance to type in exactly what they want the records in the base to be called or if Airtable got rid of the drop down altogether and made it a freetext field by default.   ... What is the proposed idea/solution? Please make it possible to sync the google drive in an automation or from an API call as an extra option beside just the 5 minute interval or manual click in the airtable><Google Drive table that is currently available. How does is solve the user problems? When you are designing workflows in an airtable interface and the flow is touching on a document that is created and then stored in a google drive, your workflow is automatically interupted now until the sync is completed between airtable and Google drive before you can work with the data from the newly created document. The only way to bypass this lagg currently is by manually going into the table and press the "sync now" button. However, in many use cases (including mine), you dont want the customer to go into the data part of airtable.  How was this validated? I have been looking online and the only somewhat relevant info is on how to keep the table "alive" by setting up an automation on an interval. But that doesnt solve the problem as it still requires you to wait a few minutes for the sync to automatically occur. Who is the target audience? What is the proposed idea/solution? My suggestion is that you make all desktop data views and interfaces phone fields function just like the mobile app so that if you click on it you have the option to choose Call or Text (tel/sms). Workaround is to at least make this work with the Button field, right now the tel: or sms: links do not work with the button in the data views or interfaces, they are just kind greyed out and don't work.  How does is solve the user problems? Most business run on computers not mobile phones. The option to just click a phone # and then choose call or text is an invaluable time saving option. Why do you have a phone number field that does not act like a phone number on a desktop from a data view or interface when it works like this in the airtable mobile app?! Is not one of the most common uses of airtable include CRM /customer data? How can I have a customer contact crm type database/interface that does not have native clickable phone numbers on a desktop PC when the mobile app has it built in? All webpages do this now, all CRMs do this now.  How was this validated? There isn't even a good work around for this!  adding a button with a URL tel: type link does not even work. What is the proposed idea/solution? Give the user a way to switch the font used to render numeric data. This would allow me to switch to a font that has fixed width numerics so numbers have identical sizes. How does is solve the user problems? In pivot tables, make 100.000 and 111.111 look equally big. Currently the first will look like a huge number. The second will look tiny in comparison. How was this validated? Look at any table with numbers. See that 1 is not treated the same as 8 (width-wise) Who is the target audience?
