What is the proposed idea/solution? ...Allow the User to "Add Records From" a Table within the current base. How does is solve the user problems? ...In order to bring together data from multiple Tables, they each need to exist in separate Base outside of the current Base. Without this feature, the User must create multiple Bases in order to combine multiple Tables into one Table. Who is the target audience? ...Every user who Syncs multiple Tables or wants to combine multiple Tables into one.

This can be extremely time consuming and prone to human error, that can affect Synced Tables. Who is the target audience? ...Users who have more than one View per Table, especially users with a large number of Views per Table.

Please extend the comments feature so that it is broader than the limited focus of per record comments. Enhanced Collaborative Communication: By allowing comments at different levels, team members can have more context-specific discussions. This feature would enable users to leave comments on a specific base, table, or view, fostering clearer, more organized communication. It would essentially turn Airtable into a more collaborative workspace, where team members can easily discuss broader strategies at the base level, specific data sets at the table level, and particular views or filters. Improved Workflow Management: This feature would be a game changer for project management. Teams could streamline their workflow by discussing and tracking changes directly within Airtable, reducing the need for external communication tools. This centralized communication would lead to fewer misunderstandings and a more cohesive workflow, especially in remote or hybrid work environments. User-Friendly Experience: Embedding comments at different levels would make Airtable more intuitive and user-friendly. Users could easily navigate to relevant discussions without having to sift through unrelated comments at the record level. This is particularly beneficial for new team members who need to quickly understand the context and history of a project. Comments at the view level strike me as being the most useful - views are where most work is taking place and being able to have focused discussions at that level next to the data would be incredibly useful.

What is the proposed idea/solution? I love using Airtable for work, but find that there are many personal applications as well. Instead of paying $20 a month for a "Team" plan for just myself, which is excessive, I wish there was an "Individual" plan. It would have similar limitations to the free tier, but unlock: 10,000 records per base 2 gb attachment space per base 3 month revision history Expanded color and formatting 1,000 automations per month This would all cost around $5 USD a month How does is solve the user problems? This allows for expanded functionality of Airtable for personal use, capturing a new market segment, while not offering too many features to eat into the sales of "Team" subscriptions. It would help personal organization with more colors, more automations, and more safety from accidental deletions without being excessive like the Team plan How was this validated? This idea has not been validated further than my own use cases and desires. It seems like a reasonable missing pricing tier though that could be a win-win, giving users more functionality while also not adding too much overhead in terms of cost for Airtable Who is the target audience? Individual, personal users

What is the proposed idea/solution? The ability to set owner as non collaborator/builder so he does not have access to the bases but has only access to workspace settings. How does is solve the user problems? The problem is that in our organization there are users who are administering the workspaces and different users are building. We don't want builders to have access to workspace settings so there is another user who is administering the workspace - the only thing he does is managing the billing and administration features. Since the user is not a collaborator the workspace shouldn't be charged for him. How was this validated? Each owner is collaborator and we have to pay for him even though he doesn't collaborate. Who is the target audience? Each company who have separated group of users administering the workspace from collaborators.

What is the proposed idea/solution? The usability of the UI isn't designed around common design patterns. - Tables listed as hozital tabs - looking for tables is a high use/common behaviour - horizontal scrolling is awkward - Wasted real estate on the 'create a view' panel - this functionality is often used when setting up bases, but seldom used thereafter, this real estate could be put to better use Solution: - List tables vertically, in alphabetical order (and provide sorting alternatives) - similar to other database design patterns. Use the space currently taken by the 'create a view panel' ... Who is the target audience? - All database users (admins, editors etc.)
