When sharing the front-end of your base via link, you get to this menu: Originally, it says “Enable Shared Base Link” and there is that off/on slider. When you set it to on, it changes to “Disable shared base link”, which doesn’t make sense for a slider - the slider is indicative of “Enable Shared Base Link” being true or false. What the above picture looks like is that I’ve Disabled share base link, since that is the function and it is set to true via the slider. When querying records in the scripting extension, it is required that the fields are explicitly defined as a list of strings or added via something like {fields:table.fields} as a parameter to selectRecordsAsync. While both methods work fine, the user is left to either type out a list of the field names/ids that will be used within the script/automation or select all the fields wtihin the table, there is no inbetween (that I’m aware of). If there were a way to specify fields based on what is hidden/shown in a view, the querying process would be much improved. I know that something like this would be possible by creating two columns, one for the raw data and one for a formula to transform the data. That being said, it would be great to be able to create a “Transformation Field” that would operate similarly to a Function field. The function would receive the cell data directly, and transform it into the desired formatting for the cell. 19 July 2022 Please, I love Airtable but the simple notifications are not cutting it for a busy team. We need much more control: an integration of notifications for Comments and @mention, notification control in automations, notifications in Interfaces (we are stuck using Interfaces until this happens) have a goal of notifications serving teams IN AIRTABLE without sending email or Slack or whatever, simply being able to isolate records with outstanding notifications of any kind for the current user in a search would be bliss, and more. We recently started using the Web Clipper extension to easily log issues with our websites / apps in a issue tracker base. It works great! However, it would be sooo awesome if we could set some fields as “required” when configuring the recipe. I’ve got an idea about making comments more obvious. In this current version, the comments seem hidden. If the team has a lot of people, it’s very difficult to see what’s really going on: Did it have new comments? Where they comment? I don’t have the feeling that I can take control. It would be really good if you could view Timelines as a Calendar - showing individual days as well as weekends, and if possible add local public holidays as an option.
