I know this is a spreadsheety thing, and falls apart once relational, but when actively editing in a table view, it’d be REALLY helpful to highlight cells that are missing info, or for which the data has not yet been fully confirmed. Question marks don’t work in number fields, so that;s not an option… Basically we need a way to identify data that’s near-final. Thanx!

It would be really nice if you could hit something like ctrl+shift+enter to insert a new row, and then start in the first column to speed up data entry.
I find myself having to shift+tab all the way back to the first cell to start on the next line.

Right now if you have a column you can see the sum, average, median, min, max, range, and few other summaries of every record in that column. One thing I think would be very useful for formula columns is to apply that formula to all columns. So if the formula for column 3 is Column 1 / Column 2… then the summary applies the same formula to the sum of column 1 and the sum of column 2. The closest thing that I can come up with is “average” but that isn’t accurate.

I use Airtable to help manage my personal & business accounting needs (instead of a dedicated accounting software like Mint, QuickBooks, or Wave) because I have full customization of the platform.
The biggest trouble with using Airtable to track my finances is that I have to manually enter each “transaction.” If Airtable used a 3rd party service like Yodlee to allow users to import their bank transactions automatically it would a very useful feature.
At that point, the only other feature Airtable would need to truly make it a fully customizable alternative to Mint or QuickBooks would be “reporting tools” but somebody already made that feature request.

I’m having a conversation with my boss about uploading photos to our department’s airtable. I find being able to track a story via a visual extremely helpful, but he doesn’t want to add an additional storage place when we already keep high res versions in Zenfolio. I wish there was a way to set a url field as an “image” field in the way that the attachment field automatically shows images. That way I could link to the original files while maintaining the usefulness of having an image associated with an Airtable item.

Currently Kanban view is not enabled for mobile or tablet apps.
At the very least, kanban should be enabled for tablets - the screens are big enough to handle the kanban view.

When duplicating a table it would be really useful to be able to rename the new table before it’s created; otherwise I have to go through all other tables and manually rename any field which references the new table.

Being able to have a calculated field with a min or max from all records (functions actually available only in the summary bar) could increase possibilities to work with Airtable. What do you think ?

In our base, I have plenty of users who don’t utilize the Personal View setting, so our view list is getting cluttered with dozens and dozens of views that otherwise could be filtered out. Many views look like this but are public: " Basic View - Jordan"
I think a great suggestion would be one of the following:
Workspace Owners would have the right to make a view a personal view AND assign the views ownership to an individual.
Folders for Views to help keep views organized by teams that use them
