Hi all.So I seem to be stuck. I have a table called People. 100s of records with them all associated with a Company Name (from Company Table). Some people are designated (checkbox) as being a billing contact or primary contact for a company. All of this is great. I made a view called People By Billing view that shows me just those markedNow each year we sent out invoices. We have a table called Payments, with one record for each Company in the Company Table. This is all good. Here is where I am frozen. What I want to do is pull those that are marked as primary or billing from People to link in the Payments. We want this because we send out emails via the SendGrid tool to those people and attach the Payment ID to it so we can process. I wrote a script that loops through a People By Billing and writes them to a linked record in Payments but it keeps overwriting the record already in the linked record, and honestly, I don’t feel like this needs to be a formula. I don’t want me client to
Hi everyone, Kenzo here from the Airtable Product team. Today we’re rolling out Web Tables in Omni (AI Labs) — a new way to research people and companies, and to power workflows such as sales prospecting, company research trackers, and recruiting outreach. Web Tables let you create structured datasets of people and companies from the web, directly in Airtable. This unlocks new kinds of apps you can build without manual data collection or cleanup, such as:Company Research Tracker – monitor startups, competitors, or YC companies with founder and funding details, then track them in your company tracker app. Example prompt: Find all Y Combinator companies founded since 2022 that are in the fintech or AI sectors. Recruiting Pipeline – find candidates, their roles, and recent job changes, then add them to your Recruiting base and link them to open roles. Example prompt: Find all software engineers in San Francisco who have recently left Stripe or Coinbase. Sales CRM – build prospect lists
HiI want to have a small database to control my clients pending payments, the idea is to have a a way to see wich services are paid and wich services are not paid yet. And create a sort of query to search if for example one particular client has bills that we need to collect, like a balance sheet of the amount that we need to bill to a particular client, and also a way to mark a bill as paid when the cliente makes the payment (for this I guess the checkbox is the best option)I don't know if the explanaition is good enough, English is not my native language but what I want in spanish is Cuentas por cobrar, wich in English I think it is translated as accounts receivableIs this possible on Airtable? How can I do this, I appreciate the ideas since I am a beginner on this system and I am not a programmer
I’m running into some odd Airtable behavior with a hidden primary field and I can’t find any documentation that explains it. Hoping someone here has insight. Table: PHPTO Form Responses Primary field: PHPTO Pitch Name (single line text) Form: PHPTO Pitch Form Responses On the form, the primary field was present but hidden. Both Member Name and Album Title are required fields. Member Name was created first in the schema. Here’s the behavior: When a record is created from the form, the record history shows that PHPTO Pitch Name is set immediately at creation. Instead of staying blank, Airtable always sets it equal to the Album Title. This happens even though Member Name is also required and appears first in the schema. What I know: Airtable docs confirm that hidden fields still submit values (prefilling hidden fields). Airtable defines the primary as the “short, unique representation” of each record (primary field doc). But nowhere can I find why Airtable prefers Album
Hi all,I know that in my organization, we have several bases that use integrations with other tools, including the Airtable → Slack integration. I don’t remember where I saw it, though. As an organization admin, is there a way for me to find out what integrations people are using, and in which bases/workspaces?Thanks, and happy Friday,Joe Montibello

We would like to keep the permissions of two bases (one a clone of the other) in sync.In order to do this, is it possible to manage permissions via the Airtable API?Specifically: field-level, table-level, and base-level permissions.Thank you
Hello,This is a recurring debate for past 10 years. Why is it not possible to simply create a form with hidden fields that are previously set or prefill ???Yes I know group could be hidden … for high level subscription Conditional & Hidden fields do not submit Prefill Fields don’t work with uneditable fieldsThat’s so basic feature … I have a poll, need to attach status, linkedin objects, … not visible just to have a clean view and I’ll have to hardcode it in an automation … what a shame ! You always need to pass some tracking info. For instance, you have a CRM with Contacts you can’t send a form to the contact A, B or C with pre-field uneditable Contact field … that so basic !
Hello,I'm building a new business (creating adult study abroad programs, targeted at the US market) and using Airtable for product management and CRM. I had initially planned to use Mailchimp, via a Make integration, for both marketing and transactional emails, but I have hit a wall importing my initial contact list from Airtable into Mailchimp. I am not a developer and Mailchimp support has been confoundingly bad (2 weeks of effective radio silence, then 3 days of denying that their platform integrates with Make), so Mailchimp and I are going to have to part ways.I am looking for recommendations for a marketing email platform that I can integrate with Airtable - either directly or via Make - without needing to code. Does this exist? I have read on other posts here that Sendgrid integrates directly...but I don't know if this is the best solution. Here's what I need:- robust no-code email editor (similar to Mailchimp)- ability to update contact list based on multiselect tags in multiple
I found something that talked about 216px, but it keeps doing this.
I have a very simple Cash Dispensement program. For every Cash or Credit Card purchase enter the Date, Vendor, Receipt Amount and distribute the expense to “thing #1”, “thing #2” and “thing #3”. A separate “Balance” column adds #1, #2 and #3 and if it’s the same as “Receipt Amount” there is a check box with a check. Items without a check indicate a problem. I go back and correct the dollar amounts as needed.I have created an automation that updates when one of the four fields are updated. Here is the formula for the “Balance” field:{Receipt Amount} = {#1 Amount} + {#2 Amount} + {#3 Amount}. If TRUE I get a check mark, if False I get a blank in the check box. This worked perfectly when the field was first created. As I correct the numbers the the Balance field doesn’t update. When I erase part of the formula sometimes it corrects, sometimes NOT!My personal feeling is the action is being timed out by an Internet connection or high traffic and it’s not completing the update. I live in a

HiI am using Airtable with Fillout forms for a client project based in UK. Apologies, this question is more about Fillout.I am happy that I can get request a DPA with Airtable in relation to GDPR.Fillout say that they are GDPR Ready but then state that only Enterprise customers can have data hosted in EU.Can we achieve GDPR compliance with Fillout on one of the lesser plans, with data hosted in US?Anyone in the UK in the same position who could maybe offer their thoughts? Thanks
I am hoping to use a formula to capture clock-in time for employees. Intended functionality is that if the box is checked, log the shift start time as actual start time. If the box is unchecked, override the shift start time with actual time captured in another column. Search results said the formula to use is IF({Checked in on time?}, {Shift Start}, {Check in time if late}). The formula captures a time, but it does not match either date field.Any thoughts on why the formula is miscalculating?
