Hi everyone!I use Airtable to track event time logs (like a clock in/out system).  I attached the base structure to this message.How can I make the "totalMins" linked field (linked to "mins" in the "timelogs" table) automatically select all of the results instead of clicking them manually one by one?Thanks!

Does someone know why?Do I need to trigger the formula? 

Over the last week or 2, the android airtable app has become next to unusable.If I perform any operation in the airtable app (modifying a record/creating a record etc), and then need to switch to another view or another table, I can't. I tap to change view/table and just get a loading wheel of death. The only way to open a new view/table is to restart the app. At which point, the problem repeats.We are a 3 person charity, 2 of us (full time) use Androids, and we have invested a lot of time and effort into building our airtable systems. We use it on mobile 95% of the time, and designed it to do so.Yet it's now totally unusable. My other full time worker needed to sign check hundreds of people off today at an event on airtable and could not.We asked our part timer, who uses an iPhone if she was having the same issue - it doesn't seem to be an issue for her, although she interacts with the data a lot less often.Is this happening for others? Is this an issue with our phones being a bit old

Hello Airtable Geniuses:I own a custom window covering business and am trying to create a customer questionaire that can be imbedded onto our website or emailed to a customer. I'd like for the customer to start by entering their contact info, and then add ROOM NAME, and then under each ROOM be able to add several WINDOWS. For each WINDOW they would then be able to choose from drop-down lists for several items (ie size, colour, oerating system etc). Is this possible to do using Airtable and Forms, and if so does anyone have a sample template they could share? Or point me in the direction of a youtube video? 

Hey guys I am currently building a large airtable interface, the goal is to edit records with as much complexity. When I duplicated a block, I had this error code Your change was reverted because your interface is too big. Try deleting some elements. Any idea how to optimize this? Hi all, I have a long text field where I have numbered some text like below for example: Example text Example text Example text However, when sending this field in an email it always ends up looking like the below screenshot. I have tried turning ‘Enable rich text formatting’ on & off, I’ve tried adding it as a ‘list’ and ‘grid’ in the email but it always ends up like this. I just want it not to be indented at all, like I have typed the example above. I can’t figure out a way around this, does anyone have any ideas? For clarity, here is the field as it is written in Airtable, before being emailed:

Hi - I'm trying to create an Airtable for my team's weekly meetings. In one of the tables, we are adding action items from the meeting and designating the person working on it. However, we'd like to add an automation where these action items would then be created as tasks in Google. Is this automation possible?

I just want to make sure I understand this properly.  I can create a mobile interface list view, but I can only sort by one criteria. I cannot then sort by a second one. For example I have TV shows and I can only sort by show name or episode. Not show name and THEN episode. Am I missing something?  Thanks  

I am trying to create an automation that adds a multiple select item to a field but I don’t want to replace it with what exists. For example, if “Troop” already existed in that column, I want to add “Cookie” so that the multiple select field reads “Troop” “Cookie”. Currently the automation replaces everything that exists so when I run the automation, it simply says “Cookie”. Any advice?

The app serves as both a client portal and an internal operations tool, with 3 user groups: clients, employees, and managers.Here are the key details:At peak traffic, I expect around 100 concurrent users interacting with the app (creating, updating, and reading records from Airtable).Given Airtable’s 5 requests per second limitation, I’m concerned about potential performance bottlenecks or errors.I don’t mind if there’s some delay when loading pages; my main concern is ensuring the app functions properly during high traffic.Questions:Will the app handle this level of concurrency without running into errors, considering Airtable’s request limits?Has anyone built something similar and can share their experience?I’d greatly appreciate your comments and insights!Thank you!

When editing a custom Airtable Extension, the process is to select edit on the block, grab the URL/port from AT,  run the block locally with block --run, and select "Start Editing Extension." However, the Chrome setting (flag) that used to allow developers to host the app code locally and run it in AT has been removed. (The flag was #allow-insecure-localhost.) This leaves us unable to edit the extension. Any suggestions for how to get development working again for extensions/blocks? 

Hello all!I need help with a formula field. I believe I will need to use the IF function. Each week, I have to do math based on data input in 2 different fields and then multiply that number by a static field to get my total. I have to do this for 50+ records each week, so I'd love to save myself the time and energy and have my TOTAL field know which of my two fields it should compute against my static field. A screenshot is provided so you can see, and below is a little more explanation.Thank you for any help!Each week, some of the shows I am tracking are in preview performances and some are in actual performances, but never both at the same time. This number can change each week for either, and each show will start in previews then move to performances. I input the number of performances into the appropriate column, then multiple this by the {Production Seats} field to get my {Capacity}. Basically IF {Previews} has a number in it, multiply that by the {Production Seats} to get {

Hi,Due to rebuilding a lot of our automation to accommodate segment/tag based filtering for e-mail, I need to change my TAG fields. The TAG is a segment or interest area (e.g. nature, sports, food etc), and until now I have used this as linked records from a master TAG table. The automations I built require however the TAG field to be a single select, so I need to transform all of my linked record TAG fields to single selects.If I just change the field from linked record to single select I nicely get the existing values converted into single select values, but it seems all automations where this variable has been used break. There are quite a few automations and it feels both very time consuming and risky to re-build all these by hand.Can you think of another way to "convert" the existing TAG field to the single select type without breaking the automations?Cheers,Björn

Hello Airtable community,In my usage of Airtable, I extremely often find myself wanting to rerun failed automations after fixing some issues in scripts, but at the moment the rerun button only offers rerunning in the previous state of the automation.And the suggestion in the support documentation doesn't apply to my case as this often happens in cases when the trigger is a webhook. And rerunning things then is quite complex and time consuming...I'm therefore wondering whether anyone had insights on some upcoming option on Airtable automations to support rerunning using the new state of the automation, if others share the same troubles, or if the Airtable  team could share their viewpoint on that feature request.Thanks!BC

How to add multiple images to Airtable's WebClipper inside a single attachment field?I know how to use css selectors to get a single image in an attachment field. I know I could use multiple attachment fields to get 3 images from a website with 3 css selectors. But I want to have all the three images (or however many exist) to be all added in a single attachment field.

Hello all,I have a new construction Community, which has not yet been mapped by Google Maps; but, I have a homesites map/ rendering of the Community. I want to be able to click on any particular homesite, and have specific data on that homesite become available. I already have a decent interface which holds the key info I want to be able to access quickly. So, this would be a complimentary capability, perhaps like a front end to the interface, which would be the Community homesites map. Click on a homesite, and it opens up the record details page (of the Interface).I reviewed the various map extensions, but have been unable to figure out how to make any of them function like this...Thanks in advance for any help!Joe

Hi! I use airtable for lots of things - but a primary use is data entry for a longitudinal study I'm conducting. Each row is a company I'm observing and the columns are observation dates. There are a series of measurements I do at each observation date (~11). Is there a way to bulk create/copy the eleven columns instead of individually duplicating them for each new timepoint?Perhaps I'm not thinking through the problem in a way that optimizes airtables strengths.To me, wide data is better for this use case than long data. I need the data to be exportable for table creation (the table tools in airtable are too rudimentary compared to excel) so this format makes the most sense to me. I also think new records for each time point is not as easy for people to follow for longitudinal data compared to new columns. Hi, I am hoping that someone might be able to help with a nested IF Statement I have a field that determines the size of an advert. I want another field to list the price for the advert based on the selection in the first column.This is the If Statement I created, but something is not quite right because it always shows the value £0.00IF(  {Advert Size}='Full Size','£100.00','£0.00',  IF({Advert ID}='Half Size','£50.00',  IF({Advert Size}='Quater Size','£25.00','£0.00'  )  )) Thanks in advance for your help.  S

I suddenly can't add multiple sync sources to my table.I'm on a business plan I have under 20 sources syncing to my table. Does anyone know what that might be the case? I can do it in other bases.I can add other sources in other bases: 

I created a new view in a base with existing shared views. On this new view, the share button is not visible like it is on the others (see attached screenshot). I submitted a support ticket for this last week and airtable hasn't gotten back to me yet. Can anyone help?

I'm a video editor, creating a client portal in Softr. On the Video Details page I want to embed the video player review page (external). If I use a URL field for the embed code, Softr is fine with it. However, I set up a Formula field to concatenate the first part of the embed code, then the url of the review page, then the last part of the embed code. The formula works, but as mentioned, Softr doesn't like Formula fields. I set up a URL field, but just need to figure out how to get the results of the formula into it so I can embed it on Softr. How would I automatically/dynamically copy the results of the formula into a URL field?Thanks
