Hi all,I'm connecting n8n to Airtable using OAuth. I created an OAuth integration that allows reading and writing the base schema:However, when I authorize n8n to connect to this integration, the authorization page does not list any schema permissions: I've tried recreating the integration and reconnecting n8n. Nothing changes it. What can I do?

I have an automation that is set to run when a record is updated. The problem is that as the user types in one of the fields being monitored, the automation is called with every character entered or deleted. I want it to run when the user is finished editing - maybe when they hit "Enter" or when they click off the field for the record in question. Is there any way to do this? Seems unusable as is?

Hopefully this is an easy ask, but I just can't figure it out.I have my interface as public, showing records in a gallery view. I have automation which emails the user to tell them that their request is live on the dashboard and to provide them a link to it. If I use "Page Record Url" in the email automation, it does create a link, but only for me, ie only logged in people. The only way I can get a public link to that record, is view the record in the interface, open it up, click the chain link to copy the url and use that. That URL is much longer than the other ones and I have no idea how I can pull in that URL in the email automation to give the customer.Here are the links, I've modified them for privacy, but its just to give you a flavour of the difference. Hi all,I have an automations question that I hope someone can help me with.My company provides a programming service for clients. As we process the information received, Airtable sends an automatic email to the client letting them know what information we have and what we still need.When record is updated, send email to client.This is fairly simple and works well, however, we have employees who work at night or over weekends and do not  want emails going out to clients at funny times. Setting up the automation to trigger at a schedule time does not work because then I do not have the option of formatting the email based on specific record conditions. I would love to be able to have something check if it's during regular work hours, if so send the email, and if not, wait until the next regular business day and then send the email.Any advice on how to implement this?

I am trying to print a single record.  Page designer is not being used - I am simply printing the record.  Problem is I am getting inconsistent results:One time most of the content from the record is printedAnother time almost no content form the record is printedAnother time nothing is printingThe problem is within Airtable platform.  It is the same if I print to PDF or to the printer.I have tried in both Edge and Chrome.  I have not had this problem in the past.I am on a PC / Windows 10 pro.Appreciate any guidance here. Sali

I have created an interface with several pages.Each page needs to be filtered by a field (plus the specific filters in that element on that page).Outcome: I want to set the field filter at the interface level, and have each element on each page consider that filter, with the element specific filters.Why:  So that I can duplicate the interface multiple times (e.g. 30 times) and just change the filter 30 times, versus setting the field in each element, in each page, which is at a minimum 15 times per interface.I'm not familiar with Connected elements or Record Picker, but I tried them, but they seem to be filtering just the page, not the Interface.Any suggestions?

Hi all, I have another airtable community account that is tied to a company I no longer work with. I reached out to Airtable support to see if it's possible to consolidate these accounts but have not heard back. All this goofy 3rd party stuff to do a front end why doesn’t Airtable just buy Softr and be done with it? A unified cooment view like Slack would be good as well.

AirTable whipped me up an amazingly impressive starter app - tables and forms - from a description of my needs.   (Which blew me away.)  I'm now trying to tweak at it to make it do some basic things.   The application manages the inventory of a seed sharing scheme for a horticultural society.   As you can see, it's done something really sensible as regards the tables needed.  (I added the gallery view of the seed types list.) AirTable has also made a nice little request form. What I'd like to whip up, is a public interface which shows something like the Gallery view, where on each of the cards, there is a link to a request form. When the form pops up, it is autopopulated with details of the seed packet

I would like to update a date field in a record, with the last time the automation executed. Is this possible in an automation, in the Update Record Action?If you choose static, you have to enter the field manually. If you choose a dynamic value, you are only allowed to choose from an existing field or data.

Hi everyone,I've been struggling with counting all records from table A in table, B. I've read multiple forum posts and watched videos, but something is still not working ... so I've come here to ask for any insights. My understanding is that  I need to put all records from Table A into a single linked field in Table B, and then use a Count field to count them.  So I set this up, like in the imageThen, I went to Automations and set up two steps: Step one: look for any records and table that are not empty. I'm managing 5 websites, and have created one base with 5 tables - each reflecting the blog planning for one website (syncing with the website-specific bases). I've now created a table that collects all the posts from all the websites, so I can see where everything is at in a blink of an eye. What I can't wrap my head around is the dates: I now have 5 date fields (lookups), but I'd like to be able to sort things by date (or display them in a calendar, etc) - regardless of which website it's for. I created a formula field to merge the dates, but that displays them as "2015-01-01T00:00:00.000Z"... I know there's a DATESTR([date]) formula, but that gets me an error message (am I using it wrong?). Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

I have an Hours table that records for each member (identified by email address) the number of hours they participate in an organization event.  The table consists of email address, event category, #hours, date, and two optional fields, event name and event id.  When members go to input their hours, they typically have more than one activity to report.  I want to create a form such that the member inputs their email address only once and then can input multiple instances of {event category, hours, date}.   I saw one possible solution that added another table linked to the hours table and allowing multiple records, but I'd prefer to not have to create another table for just this purpose.  Any help, guidance, direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,I'm currently creating an interface for my team where we can effectively manage what sprint, client, goals and tasks we are working on. I want to be able to select a sprint from a filter, as a result filter for clients that are linked to this sprint and then as a result filter for goals that are linked to the selected client and sprint. This will then display the task on a kanban view that I stack by status.I have a base with a tasks table, goals table, clients table and sprints table. In the task tables you can link the goals and this will then show the lookup for the client and sprint that goal is assigned to. Any help would be much appreciated. Hello, I'm having an issue with getting anything back when sending a post request.Using Voiceflow to integrate into airtable.comThe objective is for a patient/customer to be able to change their email and have the bot do it for them if the bot recognized that their email was different but first name, last name, number, etc were the same.There is no error, I'm getting a 200 back but the response is [] or emptyThe fields are filled out and I checked capitalizationScreenshots are below, any help would be appreciated.I checked the base ID and table for the API call and its correctI've tried just using a filterbyformula in a get request and it does the same thing and returns a ok 200 and empty response. 

I need to enter a record with additional spaces in a text string of a column (single line text) . Whenever I add the text string ‘a b’, the system sets the text string to ‘a b’. How can I prevent that spaces are being removed. Thanks Jan

Hi,I have one column in my Jobs Table that pulls the Job address from my Table of Customers, its a Formula and seems to work fine it puts the correct Job address into the Jobs Table if the customer has a different Mailing address, it looks like this: IF({(J) Address?} ="Yes", {Mailing address (from Customers)}, {(J) Street} & " " & {(J) City,St,Zip})I have a second column in the Jobs Table that I need to JUST have the City Name appear in.  I have tried to write the formula, and it just returns an Error Message, it looks like this: IF({(J) Address?}="Yes"

Hi Airtable Community....I'm new to Airtable so please bare with me.I have a Softr application, in demo state - Where a user (logging in on their backend portal) can log in and upload some content...I also have a form that is public facing for clients to fill out...I am okay with the user table capturing the user's: name, password, email, magiclink, attachments.I also okay with the client table capturing the client's: first name, last name, phone, email, organization.I want to preface - that I want to use these two tables for multiple users who will have their own custom built application as well as anyone who fills out the form specific on the user's application...Here is the issue/problem:1. How do I link a client who fills out the form for a specific user and then automatically get the attachments (via airtable email automation)?2. Can I use the same two tables for multiple users? Hi Airtable Community...I have a table called 'Request-Table that is linked to a user table called 'User-Table'...In Request-Table, when a new entry is added (i.e Requestor-Name, Requestor-EmaiI) it pulls specific User information (fields) for that User from the User-Table (e.g. Name, E-mail, and Attachment fields)I want to send the attachment the Request-Table pulls in from User-Table TO the Requestor-Email...My question is - How do I add the attachment or attachments the automated email? Good afternoon (UK). I’ve just signed up for a year of Pro. I am surveyor dealing with commercial property and much of work overlaps with that of a lawyer. I’m not new to database design, having been using Filemaker for years (but only in flat form, not relational). Currently I use Clio (law practice but I’m finding it slows me up) and a combination of Devonthink Pro 3 and Scrivener for my law library. I am planning on using AirTable for my law library and for task management (client contacts, etc, property info, etc. I have added a couple of templates to get a rough idea. I have 2 questions. Would it be better to have a separate base for my law library or does it matter if one base contains dozens of tables? Where a field is for a person’s name, is it better to have two fields, one for first name, the other for surname, or one field only. tia

Hello, We are integrating Airtable with other systems and using Record Id as the key to link the records and avoid duplication. Today we faced that the record ids are changed for all records from a airtable sheet which made sync failed. Anyone know the root case of it ? (Is something to do with the outrage airtabel had yesterday (10th March, 2021)? Also if someone can help us what are the diff-diff scenarios when the ids can be changed ? any thoughts? I've tried a few things, but fear it's just not possible ...I have a record template that takes a date input on the record, and creates child tasks in a wor-kback schedule from that date, but I can currently only apply it from the base, by right clicking on the task - A little modal window pops up and asks for the date to be input. Great stuffI have an interface where i'd like to be able to trigger this template from, but it currently throws an error if the date field is empty, as opposed to popping up the friendly date input window ... Thoughts? Annoyingly you can't trigger automations / templates from buttons displayed in lists from the 'Button' field, but you can run scripts.  The Button I've made has had to be layered in the 'record' view by clicking into it which is just another click
